hey folks, quick announcement...

if y'all couldn't find my blog recently, that's my mistake. I messed up my visibility settings while I was up way too late. I thought I had the "hide me" settings turned on for some reason, so I switched them, thinking I was making my blog easier to find. I was wrong. they were already off. I hid the blog. oops.

I then forgot about it, and soon after, I noticed a massive drop in notes on all of my posts. days passed. THEN I realized what I'd done, and spent like fifteen minutes looking through my account settings trying to fix it, with a headache the whole time... before I realized that I was looking in the wrong place and the visibility settings were right there when you open the general settings and I just added an extra step that led to many more steps. all I needed to do was scroll down.

so I switched it back last night and woke up today with 30 notifications including two new followers. so uhh... welcome, y'all! problem solved, I guess!

I walked through my house at 1:12 am to photograph some potatoes because I wanted a background for Charun and I couldn't find an official one that fit the text. it was all for you.

I've gotten better at editing on my phone! it took a lot of headaches to get here. but now you get to see Zebruh in his true from: a pop-up ad.

I made them with my mom! We used Martha Stewart's recipe for "old fashioned sugar cookies". It says "well done" if you can't tell. That stuff is pretty hard to write with! We even ate it for you!

i was so ready to be the one to translate the alternian, ive been reading and writing it for like 7 years, I've trained for this day etc etc 😤 only to find out they changed it for hiveswap and my beloved daedric alternian is nowhere to be found!!! kids these days with their newfangled non-copywrite-stricken Modern Alternian, i tell u what

I've been meaning to look into OG Alternian. But if you're interested in learning Hiveswap Alternian, the way I learned it was through the character select cards at the start of each volume in Friendsim. It had the characters' names written in both english and Alternian, and between all of them, I was able to find the symbols for every letter and the question mark. I also found the Alternian exclamation point and period from background posters and stuff.

Azdaja and Chahut's cards helped me the most. I can't look at their cards without remembering how they taught me the ABCs!

Well anyway, I appreciate your enthusiasm! Maybe one day, I'll learn old Alternian and write something that you can translate! But for now, here's a cookie for your effort!

It took me a while to respond because I needed to wait for an opportunity to make some! My little brother wrote the message, in english, for convenience (it says "nice try" if you can't tell. that stuff is pretty hard to write with)!
