Where your favorite blogs come alive
Finally put these up here, some stickers that I've made and will be selling for a local event (đ¸đŹ) at Artsobi!
And here's a piece with Seth and his partners for Valentines! đHalsin suggested the evening picnic, Shadowheart and Seth bought the alcohol.
So @morganzephyr gave me the idea of Maine-coon Cat!Halsin and I couldn't get that idea out of my head...
Halsin doodles xD
Heres the reference for the first one
just thinking likeâŚ.
astarion: this is my partner Durge, and thatâs their girlfriend Shadowheart, and thatâs Shadowheartâs girlfriend Karlach, and thatâs Karlachâs girlfriend Minthara, and thats Mintharaâs boyfriend Wyll, and thats Wyllâs girlfriend Laeâzel, and thats Laeâzelâs boyfriend Gale, and thatâs Galeâs boyfriend Halsin
and theyâre all just some big polycule that has no actual label but they all kiss sometimes
anyway i think all the companions and tav/durge in bg3 should kiss one another
just got the scene with talking to Gale under the night sky in act 2 (beautiful scenery btw) and GOD. HOW in the HELLS am I supposed to romance anyone BUT him now??!
On the other hand, I want to romance Astarion and as much as I CAN NOT for the life of me find it easy to reject Gale, hurting Astarion in any way, shape or form would immediately reduce me to a pathetic puddle of tears.
WHY can I not romance both of them UGGHHH this is torture.
not to mention the fact that I have the hots for like EVERY romancable AND unromancable npc in this GODDAMN game.
like Laeâzel (sheâs so endearing for some reason what the hell??), KARLACH oh my GOD (Shadowheart knows whatâs up, I NEED her to carry me and OMG she calls herself Mama K I CANâT), Wyll ugggghh (heâs underrated and I WONâT stand for it) Shadowheart (fuck, godâs favorite emo princess I love her so muchhhh). That motherfucker HALSIN (what a HUNK of an elf they had NO RIGHT making him so glorious) even Minthara who I finally got in Act 2 now.
and when it comes to the UNROMANCABLE people. Don't even get me STARTED. Raphael you god damn majestic asshole. Haarlep (Iâd feed him, thatâs all Iâll say about the matter), Alfira (the REAL reason why Iâll never do a Durge playthrough, I CAN NOT ever lay a finger on her). Larkrissa (I love her and Alfira plus them TOGETHER so fucking much), ROLAN (stupid prickly wizard), Dammon (heâs just SO everything, donât make me explain, Iâll go on and on for hours)
this game is a bisexual NIGHTMARE and on one hand I LIVE for it, on the other, Iâd like to sue
someone said he prob bumps his head thru doors or bend over AHHH
MEOOOOOOWđź
I believe in nwn2 hero tav supremacy
Preface: this is coming from the perspective of my own playthrough wherein I got this scene early act 3. I don't know if it can trigger in act 2 or not, so let me know, as that would change some of the details. Either way, I think the main point still stands. Also this is all just my headcanon but it's based off of canon info)
Unpopular opinion(maybe?) /headcanon but in my opinion, Astarion is not okay during the âfReeDoM oF nAtuRE's gIFtsâ conversation after Halsin's confession. Heâs laughing and acting way too flippant for it to come across like heâs truly okay with what is being proposed. Not to say heâs against a poly relationship in general, but I think that, at point in his relationship with the player character, heâs kind of panicking about being replaced but doesn't know how to say that heâs not comfortable with them spending the night with Halsin. It kind of reminds me of the âI didn't know how to say noâ scene (obviously not the same situation or stakes, I'm just saying that thereâs a precedent for him lying about his feelings and needs in order to please the player character and not show vulnerability). PLUS, after he asks if the reason youâre interested in someone else is because he set that boundary about intimacy back in Moonrise (and its implied you haven't been intimate since then), if you respond with âgods, I don't want you to even think thatâ, he IMMEDIATELY backpedals like: âoh, of course, I knew that. It was a joke. Doesn't matter to me. Iâm very chill right nowâ.Â
Given everything we know about him, at this point in the story, he basically feels like he contributes very little to this relationship, and is insecure about the fact that he can't even offer the one thing he feels like heâs good for. Seeing the player seek intimacy somewhere else, even if they say they want to be with him too, probably feels like a knife to the heart (again, even if heâs not opposed to polyamory in general). The bottom line is that regardless of how the relationship turns out, I don't think he is doing okay at all at this point.Â
Note: I don't actually know what happens/ if you can get this scene after facing Cazador. I got the scene early in act 3, personally. Spawn Astarion would be in a much better emotional space then, and so I think he might genuinely be comfortable with opening the relationship to Halsin at that point, potentially. Ascended Astarion is another issue entirely.
Halsin does not have enough body hair, and like, I know that he's an elf, he doesn't grow facial hair, BUT he has the ever so slightest amount of chest hair. HE'S A DRUID, HE LITERALLY TURNS INTO A BEAR, WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE DOESN'T HAVE MORE CHEST HAIR?! FUZZY HALSIN SAVE ME
