My Durge was created so she could rip out specific organs in her body and use them as weapons. I felt like it made sense, considering not only did the god of murder create her, she's considered Bhaal's masterpiece. Every organ in her body functions to make her that much more devastating in battle. She can be an unstoppable force and also an unmovable object. The perfect weapon.

Devotion, commissioned by @marduksstuff ❤️ A Bhaalspawn to be his father's killer and a wizard to be his goddesses sacrifice. Othello was made to be a weapon but love was his saving grace when it came to Gale. Love was everything he needed. Gale forgot his goddess for him. Othello forgot his god just as well. I like to think that they embody the Euripides quote:

A few days ago I saw this panel from a comic book from the 80's maybe and I immediately said to myself: "man but it's really those two" and I couldn't resist recreating it with them hahah
(Sadly, I could not find the name of the original comic book)
It inspired me to make a comic strip out of it haha
astarion being a magistrate before he was murdered is so funny to me. imagine showing up to court to pay a fine for double parking your horse or whatever and the guy dealing with you is some wretched limp wristed elven fop who takes one look and sentences you to seven years hard labour for having ugly shoes and a flat ass.
Astarion is the kind of man who would ask this very seriously
