Day 3 on tumblr it’s time to post something controversial. I’m Gale of Waterdeep’s biggest hater. It’s just something about the way that he is that makes me wish violence upon him. I wish I’d smacked his hand and left him in the portal the first time I met him. This is a hill I’ll die on

Gale got Incubus Charm-ed by Harleep, and he has a lot of good, dangerous spells, so I was understandably worried.

It gets to his turn, when everyone is standing pretty close together. He has fireball and ice storm, and is pretty set against us.

Instead of using those deadly spells, he decides, still working against the rest of the party, that he will cast globe of invulnerability, not on Harleep, but himself and Astarion, chug a potion of Glorious Vaulting, and then run away from the globe.

I just…. I choose to believe that his love for his friends and Tav (romance) stopped him from hurting them, and not just because he would be expending a high level spell slot.

Gale really says he isn’t comfortable sharing Tav because they won’t devote themself to him entirely, while he is planning on literally killing himself for his ex-girlfriend.

Gale talking for 15 minutes nonstop while me and @moist-car paid no attention at all and then talking about orbs was basically this

i feel like this needs a context because i've been obsessed with astarion since the first teasers of his appearance, so obviously i've been romancing him. cut to yesterday gale calls me anD FUCKING BLOWS MY HEART INTO A BAZILLION PIECES AND MAKES ME FALL IN LOVE IMMEDIATELY AAAAAAUGUGUGHHHHHHHH
