Where your favorite blogs come alive
As of today, my third GI Joe Renegades fanfiction is 59,000 words. I have nothing to say for myself. My fanfiction google doc is almost 100,000 words. Hopefully some of those other words will also be posted soon.
I don't really have anything else to say except to tell you to go read the fanfic if you want. It's the first one on the GI Joe Renegades AO3, so it's easy to find.
Maybe if you're feeling the love for our collective baby (taken from us far too soon) you could add a fanfiction of your own, too. Only if you want to. Just an idea.
Guys, Tubi gave me badges. This is the most on-brand thing I’ve ever done, and I can’t remember how I did it.
Any of you guys ever open a door and have the door respond like:
I've just been informed that it is now the year of the snake. It's your time, buddy.
Great job guys. No notes.
Go to pinterest, search "your name + core" then post six pictures and tag six people.
thx to the boo @damnapathetic for the tag
leo/leonidas core 😎
@lonely-parrot @sulgkoolon @atfirstblushing @cowboymoonking @moonyslastcigarette
Also, just went into the video description to see what's going on in there, and it's only tagged with G.I. JOE, SnakeEyes, and Hasbro, which is really funny to me for some reason. Like -- yes, here is our Hasbro, GI Joe franchise show that is explicitly about Snake Eyes and Snake Eyes only. None of those other characters. How did the marketing department ever think Duke was the main character of this show? Why is he on the front of all the promotional material? Snake Eyes has the best, most clear-cut roll in the intro out of all the main characters, is in the vast majority of thumbnails for the episodes uploaded to YouTube, and is the only character tagged in the livestream description. Maybe I think about this too much, but I am so sure that I am right, and the evidence is piling up. lol.
I see this little guy pop up on my YouTube homepage (or whatever it's called), and it just fills me with such profound joy. Why does it exist? Who knows? Who are these thirty-nine people just randomly watching a full season livestream of an obscure Hasbro cartoon from 2011? Yet again, who knows? But they give me hope nonetheless. Hope that love triumphs over show cancellation, that childhood can be revisited no matter how long ago it was, and that if you build it they will come. Happy holidays, everybody.

Alternate versions of the meme I just posted, this time where they actually are thinking the same thing:
And later he just throws out the something would be a 'grievous mistake' -- like, who talks like that? Who is this man?
My head cannon is that in the Homecoming Part 1 scene where Flint is talking about protecting the Joes' families, Duke and Scarlett try to share a look, but they aren't really that close yet. So, they just have a horrible miscommunication.
'bout to post three different memes for the same two screenshots, because GI Joe: Renegades was taken from us too soon, and you've really gotta milk every second to get your money's worth. (Even though it's free to watch on Tubi and YouTube -- because the only way people make money off my baby these days is from ad cents, and Hasbro knows that.)
Who wrote the GI Joe: Renegades Fandom site? It sounds like the back of a Victorian novel about a society lady who's secretly a private detective and her butler who's secretly a ninja, and to be clear I'm living for it.
It just occurred to me that when Snake Eyes brought the Joes to his dojo in 'The Return of the Arashikage Part I' he probably thought this was going to be their beach episode. Their one moment of bliss. Their chance to learn some actual hand to hand combat. And then instead they got threatened by his adoptive sister and almost murdered by his insane foil character ("the creep in the white jammies" as Tunnel Rat would say). No wonder this man his crippling depression.
Both my favorite boys (other than Snake Eyes of course)
Cosplayers: Nitsuke and Dazza.spider.noir ¿Swap cards? or ¿playing cards?
I just uploaded the first two chapters of my latest GI Joe: Renegades fanfiction. My ultimate goal is to write a fanfiction for every episode of the show. But the current goal is to get the fics for episodes 1-12 uploaded before Christmas 2024.
Why is 'Fire Fight' (GI Joe Renegades ep. 10) such a good episode? It did not need to go that hard, but it's what children's media should be. Fire and explosions and insane villains and so many moments of peril and the acceptance of a death endured for the sake of saving others. I sound insane. Probably because I am insane, but that's beside the point.
Scarlett really said Pyro. She looks so serious about it, too. And Roadblock and that other guy are just like
Snake Eyes is so extra for this. Like, is he trying to show off how intimidating he can be in front of Duke, or what?
And this???
It's day I don't know of having this blog, and it's growing to look more and more like a GI Joe Renegades fan blog with every passing moment. One like on this post equals one tear for what they did to my boy all those years ago. Rest in peace, but never forget.
Introduction to Quantum Theory -- by Franny Choi
During the exam, Hope defends her classmates from the spider thing. She's knocked into a coma afterward, leaving Itsuki feeling like he has to pick up the pieces. At the same time, Carmen grapples with her unconscious contribution to the exam and her fear of being kicked out of Cosmos Academy as a result.
I wanna play as Snake Eyes in GTA 5, because he is always committing grand theft auto.
Zartan's motorcycle in ep. 4
That tow truck in the same episode
Flint's jeep at the end of ep. 2 and beginning of ep. 3
The coyote in ep. 5
The World Keeps Ending, and the World Goes On -- by Franny Choi
Hope shows up to her daily training two hours early, hoping to get some work in before Itsuki shows up. But she finds Itsuki is already there, training so hard that he’s sweating even in the cool morning air. They fall quickly into an argument.
In the midst of a war between turians and the humans, Garrus and Shepard are tasked with entering into a political marriage that will fortify peace negotiations. All they have to do is pretend to be star-crossed lovers and keep their heads down outside of publicity interviews. That, and Shepard has to keep Garrus from imploding every time he thinks he's offended her, which is basically every five seconds. Oh, and the smallest amount of treason.
Hi guys, This isn't an exclusively Snake Eyes/Scarlett fan blog, though it does look like it sometimes. Snake Eyes and Scarlett (GI Joe Renegades) are my babygirls. They've been dear to me since I was but a child. And I'll never shut up about them.
