Hey everyone. I wanted to talk about why I haven't been posting. Besides being busy with my own life, I had to take a break from social media for the most part because hearing about the genocide on Palestine was getting to me. I was following what was happening very closely for a while, but then it got to be too much to handle. I understand that if just hearing about it hurts this much, the pain of the Palestinians is beyond my imagination. I'm saying this now because I don't want to be on this platform without making my stance clear: I am pro-Palestine, and anti-genocide. Israel is not a safe haven for Jewish people like they claim to be, they are killing people of any religious/spiritual beliefs, including (but not limited to) Judaism. It is not a war as it is one-sided; this is genocide, and there is no excuse for it.

I don't tend to post anything serious on here as this is mostly a meme blog, but this is too much for me to ignore. If you look to my most recent post, you can see that it went up in early October, just before the attacks. I felt it would be wrong of me to post anything if I didn't say what is nessasary. So now that I can handle it, here is that. I can't promise any other posts on here in the future, but if I do choose to do so, I have stated my beliefs and you know who you're following.

Thank you to anyone who reads this. It was difficult to get out, but I feel that is needed.

ugh, that's really gross of them. thanks for telling me. I took down the reblog, took back my like, and blocked them.

I want to make it clear that I absolutely do support using the word lesbian as a broad term. Sappho of Lesbos herself wrote about her attraction to men as well, so I don't see how it would make any sense to name something after someone if it doesn't even apply the namesake.

I'll be more careful to check who I reblog from now. that post itself seemed so lighthearted, it's kinda creepy to think about how casually hateful people can be while on a queer site in a queer fandom for a queer story.

I'm about to go through all my past reblogs, I guess. feel free to let me know if you notice anything else like that.
