fittingly, we're in the last week of disabled pride month and this is the only set of memes I've been able to make for the occasion, because I burnt myself out, AND I've been busy with physical therapy. way too fitting lmao.

tbh people in my town are probably actually dying from the heat we're having. the other day, it was 107°. people legitimately aren't thinking straight lately because it's that fucking hot. and by that I mean that my own brain fog has gotten a lot worse, and the rest the people here are the way I was before this heat wave.

When I adopted Athena last month, we knew she had leg deformities but didn't realize the full extent of her disability until we were able to see an orthopedic surgeon. She has bilateral carpal flexor contractures, a condition so rare the specialist had never seen a cat with it and his colleague had only seen one case. They recommended splinting her legs until she's grown more and then they want to do total wrist fusion of both front legs (two surgeries that total to $11,000). I was already shocked by the estimate and then was told that doesn't include the thousands of dollars of xrays and physical therapy she will need before and after the surgery. I'm a bit overwhelmed by all of this and just want to help this little kitten. She is just the sweetest and all she wants is to play and snuggle. I hate knowing she's in pain from the pressure sores caused by her condition and want to get her the best treatment possible. i had a really funny idea and I've been thinking about it for weeks but nOW I CAN'T FIND THE POST it was a pic of a tiktok comment I think? And it said ""all transmascs have that one lesbian friend-" wrong. I have multiple. sick em girlies!" with the caption "happy pride" I believe? If you find it lmk and I'll tell you my idea but I searched all night last night and I can't find it 😭

I couldn't find it either, so I'll post this and see if anyone else can! can't wait to hear your idea! (I have a hunch what it might be!)

every now and then I'll pull a weird ship out of my ass, just because the specific characters fit the text, but they've never met in canon or at least the relationship they do have has never been explored in a romantic way, and I think it's so fun to think about how that would work out for them, what quadrant, etc, no matter how weird it seems. I chose Tagora and Trizza for this post because they both like money and dislike mercy. a match made in hell!
