every now and then I'll pull a weird ship out of my ass, just because the specific characters fit the text, but they've never met in canon or at least the relationship they do have has never been explored in a romantic way, and I think it's so fun to think about how that would work out for them, what quadrant, etc, no matter how weird it seems.
