Your mistake is thinking I care about your comfort. You are pushing a hate-based ideology defined by being against my existence. It makes you uncomfortable because you can't stand people pointing out the similarities between your ideology and that of transmeds.

Not everyone is entitled to respect. Some actions and ideologies are inherently disrespectful, and waive the responsibility of others to treat you with kindness.

If you are a sysmed, your ideology is just like transmeds. I am aware that this truth will hurt you. But you don't care about the pain your hate group causes, so I won't care about the pain I cause to you and your friends.

Not only is it good for your mental health, but it can be good for your physical health as well. Our body was tired earlier and someone fronted to give someone else a massage in the headspace - note person B is usually very restless - and she and the body were fully relaxed in minutes. as long as someone choosing to be otherkin actually, earnestly identifies as otherkin I literally do not care. I care when our labels get watered down to "identify with another creature" or "relate to another creature" because that erases the meaning of these words. these terms were founded to describe people who are other creatures.

I think the term otherlink can be valuable but I think it can exist alongside being otherkin by choice. gatekeeping reason behind the term "otherkin" doesn't help us. if someone isn't watering down terminology, if they actually identify as another animal, then they are taking nothing from us.

I went to a therian meet up over anthro northwest. And it was NOTHING like the current online spaces, especially all the discourse.

There was no fighting. It was beautiful. Beings were freely using whatever labels they wanted, no one cared "why" someone identified as something, mental, spiritual, physical. Everyone was like "Hey, cool!".

Older folks talked about their time in the community while the younger ones did quads. People howled, played with squeak toys. No one cared. And most importantly, everyone agreed the infighting was pointless.

You WILL be accepted irl. This discourse doesn't matter. You are going to find your beings, and none of these online pissing contests mean anything once you meet others off the screen.

I was looking for Otherkin videos on YouTube to avoid the drama of TikTok when I came across this video stating that “No, You Can’t Identify As A Deer (Trans-Species)” and all I can say is why not?

It is so close minded to believe that we simply do this for fun (I’m not invalidating funlinks).
