Hey other plurals! Remember, there is no one stopping you from holding your headmates' hands.
There is no one stopping you from hugging your headmates.
There is no one stopping you from kissing your headmates.
There is no one stopping you from other displays of physical intimacy with your headmates. Given everyone's boundaries are being followed, we would highly recommend doing so!
Not only is it good for your mental health, but it can be good for your physical health as well. Our body was tired earlier and someone fronted to give someone else a massage in the headspace - note person B is usually very restless - and she and the body were fully relaxed in minutes. We actually fell asleep because of it and woke up feeling fairly refreshed.
So yeah, give your headmates some probably much needed attention, I'm sure they'll appreciate it!
REBLOG IF YOU LOVE YOUR HEADMATES!!!!
I keep seeing "transotherkin" flag creation posts in the otherkin tag recently, and I just - takes your hands gently in mine. You are already otherkin. I don't know how to say this more gently, but - regardless of your feelings on other transx/transID identities and how well they are or aren't handled, transotherkin is a word that does not make any sense basically no matter which way you slice it. It's like saying you're transtransgender. It's already an internal identity determined entirely by your feelings and how you see yourself. If you want to be nonhuman/feel you should be nonhuman enough to be calling yourself transotherkin you are already otherkin - genuinely, what else do you think is required to qualify, exactly? And even if you well and truly are absolutely certain you're not already despite those feelings, you can just... become otherkin, or an otherlinker (a term that will yield more "okay but how do I do that" resources if you look into it), whatever term you prefer. It's okay. With all the gentleness in my heart, stop enshrining questioning doubt and gatekeeping-inflicted self-doubt as part of your identity and just claim the word that you have every right to anyway. It's okay. You're allowed. Come sit with us.
People with psychotic disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with personality disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with substance abuse disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with tic disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with bipolar disorder are neurodivergent too.
People with dissociative disorders are neurodivergent too.
Neurodivergence isn’t just ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression. (Plus those last two also get left out sometimes!) Neurodivergence is anything that affects your brain.
“Neurodivergent people hate loud noises” is actually just as valid as a statement as “neurodivergent people have delusions,” “neurodivergent people have tics,” or even “neurodivergent people have low empathy.”
Kinda nonhuman because mental illness, kinda nonhuman because not being properly socialized as a kid, kinda nonhuman because queer, kinda nonhuman because angry at humanity, kinda nonhuman because longing for the unconditional love of a pet and it’s master, and kinda nonhuman because secret sixth thing.
And maybe this is a cold take but you guys need to really stop checking things that upset you/insult you/make you feel not real. Stop checking r/syscringe. Stop checking syscourse tags. Stop interacting with things that hurt your mental health more. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter. And it won’t get better just because you keep checking back on it.
Host culture is wanting to talk about your fictive headmate but they’re disliked in the fandom (villain). And trying to shield them from that judgment by not talking about them my name

soulbounding culture is loving your Soulbounds to life again

Fictives, Fictionkin, Soulbounds, all of fictionkind
seeing art and thinking “That’s me!” Is okay, you’re not selfish or self centered for it. Seeing ship art or smut about you and feeling strange about it is okay to feel and also okay to talk about on your blog or to your friends. If you’re not harassing the people who make them, then it shouldn’t matter and nobody should care. Non fictionkind do this shit all the time, they look at characters and say “they’re so me”, so why should it matter if you do the same? It’s you! - V
According to Pluralpedia, proxy systems are “where one functions as a singlet (or approximately close to one, such as a median system) due to a frontstuck host, yet all members of the system are completely distinct in the headspace.” Many systems may find that they function in this way! This post is for all the proxy systems out there!
🧡 Shoutout to willogenic, paromancy, imagian, or other willfully created proxy systems!
💛 Shoutout to systems who are writers, artists, or other creators whose headmates are characters who are unable to switch or front!
🤍 Shoutout to proxy systems with headmates who wish they could switch!
💜 Shoutout to proxy systems whose members often cofront, blur or blend together, or are coconscious!
💙 Shoutout to proxy systems who love, embrace, and celebrate the way their system works!
🧡 Shoutout to protogenic proxy systems, or those who have always been plural even if no one but the host has fronted!
💛 Shoutout to proxy systems who identify as specutien or have some other specific labels for their experience as proxy systems!
🤍 Shoutout to proxy systems with vast, complex headspaces, and to proxy systems with no headspace whatsoever!
💜 Shoutout to those who are questioning whether or not they are a proxy system!
💙 Shoutout to hosts of proxy systems who work hard to help their headmates live the lives they want to live, even if they can’t fully front!
🧡 Shoutout to proxy systems who prefer to present as a singlet in their daily life for their own comfort and/or safety!
Proxy systems have always been and will always be valued, cherished, and integral members of the plural community! To any proxy system who reads this, please know that your system is real and you are valid, regardless of how you experience plurality or the ways in which your system functions! It’s okay if most of your system members interact with the world through your system’s host. That doesn’t negate the validity of your system in any way, shape, or form!
We hope that every proxy system out there can have an amazing day today. Know that you are so loved, and you make the world and our spaces a better place simply by existing in it! Regardless of how your system came to be, you are special, your system is beautiful, and we are so pleased to be able to share this wonderful, diverse community with you. Please keep you chin up, have some pride in your system and how it works, and do you best to take care of each other!
