Fictives, Fictionkin, Soulbounds, all of fictionkind
seeing art and thinking “That’s me!” Is okay, you’re not selfish or self centered for it. Seeing ship art or smut about you and feeling strange about it is okay to feel and also okay to talk about on your blog or to your friends. If you’re not harassing the people who make them, then it shouldn’t matter and nobody should care. Non fictionkind do this shit all the time, they look at characters and say “they’re so me”, so why should it matter if you do the same? It’s you! - V
The muffled sounds of tails swishing in the open blue, listening to the generational symphonies sung by whales carried in such gentle tunes...
So vast, so terrifying, so beautiful, and so satisfying.
The ocean will always be in me, floating me in it's embrace.
here's your daily reminder that no-one is entitled to any information about you, your system, or your system members; nor do you have to use any terms you don't want to no matter how popular they are ^-^
May I present to the room the fictionflicker severity scale, designed based on past experiences:
Category 1: not even really quite a flicker, more like “a character I felt odd about” or maybe it was even just the source but who can say… It must have been the wind
Category 2: once it’s gone it’s gone and looking back on it now. I feel nothing. “A flicker I had”
Category 3 type A: one-time flicker that definitely had some lasting effect at least but revisiting the media gives a very diluted feeling, if any at all
Category 3 type B: one-time flicker that had like 0 impact on my life overall but revisiting would probably put me right back in where we left off
Category 4: recurring flicker, rewatching means reflickering, even if I haven’t touched the thing in years some things still manage to bring up old flicker feelings, we are now entering “one of my flickers” territory
Category 5: beyond level of recurring flicker, some mild background radiation level of brain presence is still consistent even outside of flickering them, this is “a fictotype I questioned” territory now
Category 6 type A: Oops! That’s You!
Category 6 type B: Oops! That’s Not You!
REBLOG IF YOU LOVE YOUR HEADMATES!!!!
i feel so left out. like everyone around me knows how to be a human and i don’t.
Hey other plurals! Remember, there is no one stopping you from holding your headmates' hands.
There is no one stopping you from hugging your headmates.
There is no one stopping you from kissing your headmates.
There is no one stopping you from other displays of physical intimacy with your headmates. Given everyone's boundaries are being followed, we would highly recommend doing so!
Not only is it good for your mental health, but it can be good for your physical health as well. Our body was tired earlier and someone fronted to give someone else a massage in the headspace - note person B is usually very restless - and she and the body were fully relaxed in minutes. We actually fell asleep because of it and woke up feeling fairly refreshed.
So yeah, give your headmates some probably much needed attention, I'm sure they'll appreciate it!

we are so ableist about smell. "oh youcant smell ? yea youre probably just sick or something it'll pass" "youmean youcant smell that awful smell ?? YOURE SO LUCKY I WISH ICOULDNT" "its not a disability not to be able to smell !!" "youre so lucky to not be able to smell" "wellll even if it is a disability youre still lucky" and so on cause icould go on forever. why say that to an anosmic ? it isnt fair, im disabled too, and im NOT lucky for not being able to live a normal life like a non disabled person.
do you ever feel like you're faking but in a 'this feels forced'/'these people are too unrealistic' way? e.g, you have a headmate who can speak a different language, but can't translate said language to you when asked? or because your brain is so exhausted from dissociating constantly, headmates personalities start to get weird and fuzzy and they say stuff they'd never do (to me, it feels like they're melting back into a singlet because my brain can't hold their personalities together)?
