Heeey, dear people, it's been a while! I know I've disappeared, but it's cos I barely draw lately, disappeared into watching streams and playing after work. Though I do draw some sketches sometimes, which I bring you 🤲

DW watching update
I've recently finished watching all the seasons that run from 2005 and oh. my. god. It won't be a lie to say that I love all the doctors. And I was very sceptical about Thirteen because of all the comments I saw, but she is such a ray of sunshine 🤲
Ten and Fourteen are the dearest, Twelve is super badass, Eleven and Nine are great. It was a wild 5 months journey and I can safely say that DW got deeply in my heart! Now rewatching the 60th anniversary specials and Fifteenth Doctor to go, so curious!

imagine: you get your memories back after years of amnesia to find out your whole species is dead and earth doesn’t exist anymore. that the only thing left of your culture is your weird ex and his busted honda civic that barely even works that he stole from the government when he was 13. And he’s been taking members of an alien species for trips in his honda civic and they’re all like “woah it’s so cool” and you get upset because it’s NOT COOL it’s a honda civic, the turn signals don’t even work “wow it can go up hills” yeah OF COURSE IT CAN GO UP HILLS EVERY CAR COULD DO THAT. but they’ve never seen a car before so everything it does is the coolest thing ever. And your ex’s only tool is a fucking screwdriver which is somehow also cool to this dumbass alien species even though it’s a fucking screwdriver so you just look like an idiot screaming about how none of this is even cool it’s actually really shitty but your whole planet is gone so you can’t even prove it but also you’ve had a constant drumming sounding in your head since you were 10 slowly driving you insane. I would become evil too.
The Master about the Doctor when they're not around: *heart eyes, but with panic in his voice as he thinks about the Doctor possibly dying* A cosmos without the Doctor scarcely bears thinking about...

You know how peoples accents will sometimes get thicker when they’re mad? Cuz I think most of Saxon’s acquaintances find him kind of insufferable because he goes all sing-songy when he’s annoyed
As a Doctor Who and Gravity Falls fan, I think the Master/Missy and Bill are very similar in many ways.
The Master has the Time Lords' march sound stuck in his head while Bill hears the Euclydians' screams.
The Master is one of the last ones from his species and Bill is the last one from his.
They are both associated with "I can't decide" by Scissor Sisters.
They both have a romantic and unhealthy obsession with a guy who travels the universe and has a group of friends/family.
They both have style and elegance ✨
Maybe there are more similarities between them, but these were the ones I could remember myself of.

Well, the "original" Master is my favourite incarnation of the Master, i really like that he gain a whole season focussed on him (Season 8), and i love the dynamic between him, Pertwee and Manning during the seasons 8 to 10

Hey guys, girls, and rodents if you ever think of listening to Ma Meilleure Ennemie you know the timebomb song from season 2 of Arcane. Just don't start thinking of watching any of the Doctor Who episodes with the Master after listen to it, trust me.
Just going to yeet nonsense into the void so it stops taking up room in my head:
12 remembers Clara at the end of his life, is overcome by such a strong impression (around 2 and a half series) of girlboss energy that he returns to what is best described as earliest known (in-universe) settings. There's possibly thoughts about Missy there too.
13 can be very inconsistent in opinions, I like that she genuinely seems to hate the Master though. Other New Who doctors were all, "Noooo..... you were my best friend, you can be good!" This is good, but 13 thinks the one version of the Master she had gotten through to just ran away and abandoned her.
Throw in a Master who's seemingly regressed to all-out mania as a coping mechanism after getting hurt as Missy, and their dynamic makes more sense.
The comment regarding de-cloaking the Master around the Nazis was still seriously fucked up. I genuinely wonder what the writers of that era were on half the time.
Flux was pretty fun, though.
Im so enchanted by how the Master is originally characterized. He's devious and power hungry and his whole gimmick is hypnotism and disguise and he's frankly a little stupid but when he isn't manipulating people or allying himself with destructive forces out of personal gain, it's always out of fear and it seems to be an expected outcome that he'll end up backed into a corner and lash out. It only takes two serials for us to learn that the master is SCARED of the doctor, tied up with complicated feelings of care and resentment. This isn't something new who lacks, per se, but their fear is always hidden under their veneer of a cackling maniac. it's very clear from Delgados performance that this pervasive fear is a feature, not a bug, and he is not just naturally reserved, careful, and meticulous because he's a machiavellian evil genius, its because he's paranoid.
