The one thing I love about Teen Wolf is how it subverts a lot of expectations and tropes of teen television. Particularly the male gaze. I'm not gonna lie and say that there's no sexualised women, because Lydia is the epitome of sex appeal, but more often than not it isn't intended to draw the male gaze in 'subtle' ways that degrade the women and disempower them. sex is an open topic and the women are usually the one's in power when it comes to sexual activities; Scott always lets Allison take the lead when it comes to physical activities, and he is always making sure that he is never putting her into situations she doesn't want to. It's rare to see a teenage show where female teenagers are so in control of issues of sex, and Teen Wolf does it well. Furthermore, the female gaze is far more powerful in this show. From the beginning Scott has been seen with his shirt off any time he's not at school, so has Derek and Jackson. The female gaze is so strong in this show that it's both surprising and mildly delightful. It's rare for girls to see themselves in positions of power with sex, and to see themselves not overtly sexualised in television. Teen Wold may be terribly cliche and over dramatic, but it does well in empowering females and tackling the fact that sex is a norm that should be equal in power and consent, at least to me.

I was kinda wondering why you abandoned your fics? I just discovered your account and I've read a few of your story's. They are really good, with funny jokes and well played plots! But if the answer is something personal I understand and I'm sorry for asking.

I don't mind you asking at all, love! I have stopped writing for my stories mainly because I'm not involved with the Fairy Tail or Naruto fandom anymore. Rather, I don't find any enjoyment within those worlds, and my stories began to reflect that to me personally. Also, I work a lot now while juggling the last year of high school and what not. Writing became more of a chore unfortunately.

If c1′s finale was a homage to a life well-lived, a heartfelt and bittersweet goodbye, with Liam O’Brien utilising his character to tell his friends how much they all mean to him, then c2 is a perfect parallel wherein everyone gets to finally say no to fate, to tell a friend that their life is worth everything, and also tell Taliesin Jaffe that through his character that they adore him.

AFTG au where everything is the same except Neil and Andrews attempts at gifting each other CRAZY FUCK-OFF expensive things is somehow ratcheted up another notch until someone (Nicky) notices them spending their literal life savings on each other and calls them out on their mutual attempt at making each other their sugar baby.

(Neil is confused as per usual, Nicky is fuxking delighted at these disaster gays competing to make the other their baby without a single word, and the rest of the foxes are internally screaming about how dumb the whole scenario is because neither will admit something more is going on.
