I was listening to the Boys talk in the corner of the classroom. College Boy conversations are really something, by the way. Go to college just to listen to the Boys. Anyways, the topic of space came up, and one of them said "light can't travel though space" and OF COURSE (thankfully) the rest of the Boys did NOT agree with this stance. But this guy, this poor guy, he genuinely believes this. For some reason. The face I made upon hearing this must have been something, because my teacher looks at me, sighs, and says "you heard that too?"

So the last 5 minutes of class was spent with the Star Doubter dying on his hill, but there was never any hill, not even an ant hill, and he was dead from the moment he opened his mouth.

I've just discovered #companionsona .for companions that you just. You MAKE UP A GUY. To travel with the doctor. Now, self inserts are NOT my thing. I don't wanna read about ME. IM not a BLORBO. But;!ok. Listen. The Doctor has had SO many companions... And timesn... I could make up silly little guys. For instances that you can't prove didn't really happen, or won't happen in the future. They can almost even be real??? Right??? Anyways. Just had to say, I think it's a good thing.

Theory: clocks restrain the passage of time, most efficiently while you are looking at one, but even just having a clock handy to keep checking slows things enough. One day, your phone dies so you can't check the time before and after you shower to know how long it took. You exit the shower and find that everything has evolved into crabs. Based on a true story (something like this happened to me on Thursday).
