I hope Elias shows up as Gwen's completely zonked out fail uncle. I hope he smokes weed on audio & says shit like "far out, dude". I hope he does a fake out "Gwendolyn, your constant lack of results is a disgrace to the Bouchard name!" in the Jonah!Elias voice & then breaks down laughing "man could you fucking imagine" before taking another hit. I hope he drives her up the fucking wall.

was scrolling through the "the mechanisms was Jon Archivist's college band" tags on ao3 and misread "martin finds out Jon is the lead singer of his favorite band" as Melanie, and i honestly think that would be a hundred times funnier. imagine your eldritch boss who you fucking hate but sounds vaguely familiar asks what you're listening to one day out of awkward obligation to make British Small Talk and you roll your eyes and tell him he probably doesn't know them and then you drop their name and he goes very still and flushes and suddenly Jonny D'Ville is speaking in your airpods and you're looking at your boss (who again, you fucking hate) and your world crashes and burns

I 20s (F) have a 20s (M) fiancé, V, and he’s been talking about this terrible secret he cannot tell me and he keeps almost starting to come out and then backing out. The issue is V and I were raised together by his parents, and my surrogate 40s (M) father and (now deceased) surrogate mother arranged for our marriage back when we were both children. They thought it was the best for us and at the time we were too young to realize the implications and had no reason to reject to the match. When we were teenagers our mother was on her deathbed and she told us again that she wished for us to marry, and of course we both agreed. However, V is also best friends with a 20s (M) guy called H, and they were nearly inseparable as boys and teens. They also went to university together and shared an apartment but V had to come home due to family reasons. Lately he’s been going out all day and coming home at night hours later. He insists that he’s fine and that we all leave him alone and not worry for him, but I think he and H have been sneaking around. He even delayed our wedding day by arranging a trip to go to England alone with H. It’s exhausting for all of us and I think I should just tell V I know and support him and that we can call off the marriage, but I’m not sure that’s the best course of action? I’m completely fine with not marrying him - he always felt more like a brother to me anyway - but I worry it might come off wrong. The worst part is he’s really beating himself up about it. He’s so guilty it’s beginning to take a toll on his health. I don’t care if he has a boyfriend I just want him to be happy.

So I’m still listening to The Magnus Archives series for a third time and am just on 123 - Web Development and Jon learning that Peter Lukas just got rid of the whole third floor - wasn’t there something In RedCanary’s story about the third floor?

“The third text-to-speech is Elias!” “The third text-to-speech is Annabelle!” All good theories, I love it, and the voices have massive eye and/or web vibes (leaving out that the distribution of entities might be entirely different in the tmagp ‘verse) — but in the og casting announcement, Tim Fearon is listed as voicing the third glitched out character alongside Alex and Jonny, who we’ve never heard in Magnus before.

So if we assume that he is voicing Augustus, that means it’s a new voice.

Of course, there’s the option that it’s one of the new Big Bads for the series, and if so, I’m excited for when we get to meet them because evil text-to-speech program? Hell yes.

But but but!! Consider, please:

We never got to hear Jonah’s actual voice. We only ever hear Elias’s voice being used by Jonah.

So if Chester and Norris have jmart’s disembodied voices, Augustus could have Jonah’s, and it would be a voice we’ve never heard before
