Warning for some spoilers for the fic, but holy shit these are amazing! Every single one is so accurate lolol

Enjoy the chaos which is my mind after reading a fic I enjoy š
If you haven't yet, check it out!
Caitlyn rolled her eyes. āGods, you can be quite dramatic sometimes.ā Outrage filtered through the tether, but then gave way to shock when Caitlyn reached out and laid her hand over Viās, which she could just make out in the dark. āWhat the hell are you doing, Kiramman?ā Vi asked. Caitlyn felt Irelia sigh contentedly, and the pulling stopped. āCompromising with the tether,ā she answered. āI donāt know about you, but Iām exhausted after today and would like to sleep instead of fighting it. Iām not saying we should let it do what it did last night, but maybe this will tide it over.ā Vi hummed uncertainly, but Caitlyn felt her relax against the mattress again. āFine. But the little parasite better not try anything.ā Caitlyn tutted in disapproval at the nickname. āYouāre incorrigible.ā
Tethered - Chapter 9 - caitlynkirammansrifle - Arcane: League of Legends (Cartoon 2021) [Archive of Our Own]
Vi opens up to Caitlyn as they take an important step towards trusting each other.
Caitlyn ignored the stares and gasps of the people on the streets of Piltover as she sprinted past them. She knew she must look a wreck. Bruised and scraped from the battle at Stillwater and now drenched in blood while carrying a rifle was not how any of them had ever seen the Princess of Piltover before, but Caitlyn didnāt care. The panic that clawed at her throat helped her ignore the exhausted muscles in her legs and arms and the slightly foggy sensation in her brain from the effects of the drug and no sleep. Still, she couldnāt fail. Wouldnāt. She could still hear Maddieās voice, after all this time since Bloodcliff, pushing her to be betterāto do better. āCombat is won when you find the will to overcome your own weakness. You have to want itāneed itāmore than your enemies. Tell me, Kiramman, do you want to win? Need to win?ā There was never a time when Caitlyn needed something more. The lives of every person she's ever cared about were on the line, and she could not fail.

The final showdown.
I'll do my best to get one more chapter out this weekend, but I really want to make sure I get this next one in particular right. I work weekends and I have an overnight trip planned Sunday-Monday, so there might not be another update until next week. Trust me everyone, it'll be worth it!
I figure posting over 75,000 words in two weeks has earned me a little leeway and good will š š¤£ maybe I'll post a snippet to keep you guys fed until it's finished, but no promises
So the longest chapter in "Heart Made of Glass" is 12,427 words (it was Cassandra's POV chapter). There's no way I'm not going to soar past that number with this Noxus chapter. I'm at 11,500 words with the beginning and end finished and I'm just getting into the middle section now. There's a chance this could get to almost 15,000 or more words š¬š¬ no promises, but holy fuck so much goes on in this chapter. Hope it's not too overwhelming š¬š¬
This next chapter is taking longer than I thought because itās going to be a doozy. Iām at 7300 words and I have lots more that needs to happen. I didnāt expect it to be that long but once I realized what I wanted to accomplish in Noxus, I realized it was going to be more like a short story inside the bigger story. I think you guys will like it though.
NO THE DIDLO GIRL
š¤£
After being orphaned and left to fend for themselves, Vi and her sister, Powder, stowed away on a ship to leave the oppressive laws of Piltover for the freedom of the high seas. Years later, Captain Vi āStone Fistā has her own ship, crew, a port to call home, and a reputation as one of the most feared pirates on the oceanāa reputation that has earned her the ire of Commander Caitlyn Kiramman. Caitlyn seeks to end this so-called Golden Age of Piracy and bring peace to the waters near her home. Caitlynās goal is forcibly deferred when her and Viās bitter rivalry must give way to a reluctant partnership as the crews of ships throughout the seas are mysteriously vanishing, leaving empty vessels floating eerily in the ocean. The Council of Piltover and the pirate haven of Bilgewater have called a truce to join forces to uncover what is causing the disappearances and put an end to it once and for all. Vi and Caitlyn are ordered by their respective leaders to work together to end this dark plague before it spreads to every corner of the globe. Can the two set aside their differences to save their homes and their people? Or will their rivalry lead to the end of life on Runeterra as they know it?
The Harrowing - Chapter 1 - caitlynkirammansrifle - Arcane: League of Legends (Cartoon 2021) [Archive of Our Own]
The prologue and first chapter are out. 8,000 words of our brand new adventure, and I do mean brand new! This will be very different than the other fics I've written for CaitVi. Hope you enjoy!
Not maddie being the girl that cait sneaks in her room omgg
Also Vi please Caitlyn cannot handle your langiage she will implodešš»šš»
šš haha poor Caitlyn.
Vi, who felt like they had done nothing but wait around for everyone to do their part, suddenly felt like everything they had been planning for was happening so quickly she could hardly keep up. Jayceās breakthrough, Hira Tano flipping on Hoskel, and now Graysonās operation at the Sun Gates went off without a hitch. āTwenty people arrested, three years of Hoskelās manifest records all with the same coded language on them, Hiraās testimony, and Heimerdinger has been given everything,ā Cassandra said the evening after the operation. Emir had broken out a bottle of champagne as Cassandra called for a toast with everyone in the alliance as well as Jayce and Tobias. āAll we are waiting on now is word from him to convene an emergency council meeting to determine what is to be done with Hoskel, but the laws are quite clear. The scope of Hoskelās crimes are so vast that it can only end with the call for his removal as councilor, an immediate banishment, and his family will be banned from serving on the council in perpetuity. None of this would be possible without every single person in this room. No matter the outcome, I am incredibly proud of all of you.ā
Heart Made of Glass, My Mind of Stone - Chapter 29 - Phoenix314 - Arcane: League of Legends (Cartoon 2021) [Archive of Our Own]
Everything begins to fall into place for the alliance and the City of Progress does something it hasnāt ever done before.
Okay, so I've never done this before, and I'm not promising anything, but here goes. I will take a CaitVi writing prompt for a one-shot fic to do as a palate cleanser once "Low Lays the Devil in Me" is done. I've always wanted to try a writing prompt and now is as good a time as any (if anyone manages to inspire me with a prompt, that is). Please leave them either in the replies of this post or as an anonymous ask if you'd like.
Rules:
Must be a non-canonical setting, preferably modern day, as I have spent a lot, a lot of time in Piltover/Zaun/Runeterra and will do so again in the Pirate AU that's next and in "Tethered."
Not completely ruling out smut, but it can't be the sole focus. I'm a character-driven writer first and foremost, and want to keep it that way, please.
Please keep the prompt to three sentences, max 350 words.
Must be one-shot worthy, and I'll probably not make it more than 15,000 words, so nothing that would require a complex, multichapter storyline.
I am doing this as a writing exercise, not an obligation to the people who suggest any prompts. Fanfic writing is for fun, and I want a little short break between "Devil" and the Pirate AU, which is my next long-form fic.
I will NOT do any requests for anti-ship/anti-character fics.
Thanks everyone! We'll see how this goes and if anything grabs me. Please don't be hurt if I don't choose yours. This is just a little exercise for me, and you never know, maybe I'd do one later if you suggest one now.
Please. Please, she canāt die, Vi begged it. I donāt want that. If you care about us at all, you wonāt let her die because I chose wrong again. The tether was quiet for what felt like an eternity as the world around them dimmed, but then it hummed in fearful understanding and acquiescence. Caitlyn opened her eyes, feeling something pull on her side of the tether. āVi?ā she whispered questioningly. The tether pulsed hesitantly at Vi, as if asking if she was sure. Do it, Vi pleaded.
