This was actually my first test run with Spine; something looking to become a slight obsession. Unfortunately, our current game code isn't set up to handle Spine or Spine->Starling->Flash so I might end up revamping this guy a lot just so it works with old code. That or I'll just animate a slab and call it a boss. (Spoiler: I already did. Go slice a slab, players!). Oh yeah, also, it fits with Halloween, kinda. In the near dystopian future, proper ladies will carry octopus umbrellas. Will that then make it more utopian? Yes. Because that’s how octopuseseseses will take over the human race. They will pretend to be umbrellas and whisper into our ears while we blissfully stroll around, none-the-wiser.

Started off as a color test piece, and it ended up being an all kinds of things test piece!  I like it.  Definitely spent some lazy days like this... but with possibly more contortionist reading positions.

Pommergoat First painting of the year, and why?

Me:  Let's go take the kids for a hike to the waterfall.  It's not hard;  people bring their kids and even their pomeranians along all the time.

Brother:  Pomeranians!  Must be those rugged dog breeds that are half goat, with cloven hooves.  No, this trail is too tough.
