This was actually my first test run with Spine; something looking to become a slight obsession. Unfortunately, our current game code isn't set up to handle Spine or Spine->Starling->Flash so I might end up revamping this guy a lot just so it works with old code. That or I'll just animate a slab and call it a boss. (Spoiler: I already did. Go slice a slab, players!). Oh yeah, also, it fits with Halloween, kinda. We all know this dance.
People rushing, always rushing, towards something that they're afraid to miss out on. Nevermind the elbows to the eyes and the toes to be stepped on. If they stop pushing others around and instead made way for the their neighbors, maybe the ones who actually are in need - if they start stepping back, saying, "Oh hey... you go on ahead. I can wait," - we, all of us, may never get what we really want, but at least the line to get there wouldn't be so uncomfortable. We might actually find that it's quite pleasant, waiting in line, if we're all in it together.
Eladrin with an affliction in their Summer and Winter season. A D&D commission piece. The commissioner, Tarlyn, weaves such interesting characters.
Hwe hwe hwe. Rough animation.
Scene I:
Wherein a narwhal feels dejected, in a bar full of humans who only see her as a horned aberration - a freak show. And yet... someone approaches her.
"There is more to you than just a horn. I know it." ...
She is reading Neverwhere, and the octopus is reading a book about idioms.
"It really is a great day to read at the park," he mused, pleased as punch.
Let us test with this sketch. Test, test. Test!
I think I was inspired by all the Evelyn hype from ZZZ (attire), but also still feeling the Miyabi fever (ears), which of course led to it turning to Y'shtola.
Hiya! I came across your chef witness animations and I gotta say
It's the most mesmerizing animation I've ever seen. It flows so smoothly and I've stared at it for a solid 10 minutes! The way you animated the hands so smoothly is a feat in of itself! Well done!!
wahhh! Kind words! my weaknessss... x_x I still think it's very rough but I really enjoyed making it, and boy, I don't think I've ever drawn so many hands in this lifetime - so it makes me really happy to see ppl liking it, so super thank you! More hands to come! Just gotta do some other things first, but I'm already excited for the cooking show to go on.
Kaprrsschhh~.
Partly inspired by The Last of Us, and partly just wanted to draw something technical and shiny. Bzzattt!
WAIT I SWEAR I RECOGNISE YOU FROM CLOUDSTONE DID YOU DRAW FOR THAT GAME????
i did! :D Wow nobody knows about Cloudstone. Happy to hear you recognized it.
In the near dystopian future, proper ladies will carry octopus umbrellas. Will that then make it more utopian? Yes. Because that’s how octopuseseseses will take over the human race. They will pretend to be umbrellas and whisper into our ears while we blissfully stroll around, none-the-wiser.
