I Doodled While Waiting For A Package At The Post Office, And Later On Noticed That An Employee Taped

I thought I could move on from the Witness with the last dimsum animation, but this was playing over and over in my head. His true form revealed.

Weathered it down a bit.

Now I'm trying to remember if there were a lot of dead leaves inside the buildings of The Last of Us.  Would clickers get drawn to other clickers stepping on the leaves?  Imagine stealth elements that incorporate the environment for TLOS.  I guess you might as well have Joel say "metal gear" over and over.

"clickerrr.."  (in raspy metal gear voice)

Anyway, I like this.  I am trying to take more time with my concepts nowadays.  My past industry jobs usually had me crank out pieces within a day or two, and it's a hard habit to break.

"Saturday"

Started off as a color test piece, and it ended up being an all kinds of things test piece!  I like it.  Definitely spent some lazy days like this... but with possibly more contortionist reading positions.

Here's a maniacal, motivational goburin for your Mondays. Daily sketches. Ended up liking lil' hattie gob, so I did a (not so)quick animation for kicks.

Hoshimi Miyabi and Anby enjoying some time off. Took some artistic liberties. It may be more likely that Miyabi's arm is mechanical from the shoulder on, but I like the idea of scarring on her - some very star-like, as befitting her name. I'm not sure if there's actual lore about her arm yet, but I imagine it got torn off while trying to contain the demon in her blade. So tame that it now brings her Taiyaki. Anby's fancy sleeves are off so I put some undergarment sleeves that is meant to sync up via nodes to maybe pass the current where it needs to go. Maybe augmenting her moves. Man, so excited for Silver Anby btw. ZZZ's character design is so full of awesome, and well thought-out detail. It's both a great challenge and joy to draw them.

Bwaaaah~!

The problem with dragons is they tend to extend their wings off the page.  I tell them to keep it down, but they won't be bossed around.  Relax, dragon!

I think I'll leave it at this for now.  I Have tentacles to take care of.

A Creature of Habit

So behind on the dino sketches but I've been off and on with this one. Taking a break before I do a clean or color pass.
