a/n: this is so so so adorable i love this zappy zappy boy with my whole ass heart 😭 I also changed it from stickers to temporary tattoos so i hope that’s fine mik LOL also this is more platonic but i guess if you squint it could be romantic this is also my first full fic for bnha ahahaha im ⁿᵉʳᵛᵒᵘˢ

badges of your love

Empty. The usually bustling common room of your dorm hall was empty as you walked down the stairs to bid your friends a good morning. Clutching your pad of temporary tattoos to your chest, you looked around hoping to find someone. Where did they all go? you wondered, a puzzled look on your face.

“They all went out to grab snacks and stuff for our movie marathon tonight. I told them I’d stay here to let you know when you finally woke up,” a voice spoke up, causing you to jump and turn around to see who it was. Standing before you in a white t-shirt and black sweats was class 1a’s resident flirt, Denki Kaminari.

“They didn’t want to wait so we could all go together?” He looked at you with a stare that seemed to scream are you crazy?!??!

“Uhhh y/n it’s two in the afternoon… We tried waiting for you but you never came down so they decided to head out but Midoriya said he’d grab some of the snacks you like.”

“Oh oopsie?” you squeaked out, heat rising to your cheeks, feeling embarrassed that your terrible sleep schedule caused everyone to wait for you.  

“Sooooo what do you have in your hands there?” he questioned, eying the pad of tattoos you had in your hands.

“They’re temporary tattoos! I found them last night when I was cleaning my room and wanted to put some on you guys today!” you exclaimed, moving closer to the blonde boy to show him the tattoo designs.

“These are all heart designs y/n. I don’t think some of our friends want these on them,” he laughed, peering over your shoulder as you flipped through the pad.

“Yeah I know but I was hoping I could convince some of them by choosing the smaller ones and putting it somewhere not that noticeable.” Kaminari let out a small laugh at your plan to put temporary hearts on your classmates, imagining Bakugou with a girly heart design somewhere on his body.  

“Hmmm mind putting some on me right now while we wait for them to come back?” You turned your head to the side to see Kaminari smiling back at you, waiting for your response. You give him a small smile and nod your head quickly, telling the boy to go sit on the couch while you run into the kitchen to grab a pair of scissors and a wet washcloth.

Clutching the scissors and the pad of tattoos in one hand and the damp washcloth in the other, you walk back into the common room to see Kaminari sitting crossed legged on the couch. You take a seat on the couch next to him, pulling your legs underneath you so that you can face him properly.

“Okay which one do you want?” you ask him, holding the pad of tattoos out to him.

“Surprise me y/n!” he exclaims as he flashes you a bright toothy smile. You smile back at him and start cutting out a heart that you think Kaminari would like.

As you’re delicately cutting out the design, Kaminari turns on the tv to play some music as background noise. Humming to the song quietly, you scoot a little closer to the boy to place the first tattoo on his right shoulder. The two of you sit there in silence as you softly dab the temporary tattoo with the washcloth to transfer it onto his skin.

“You know you have a lot of tattoos there, you might as well just cover me in as many as you want!” he states looking down at you, your hand holding the washcloth stops and hovers in midair at what he says.

“Are you sure? You wouldn’t mind people seeing you with hearts everywhere?” you give him a questioning look, head tilting slighting to the side.

“It’s the weekend! No one will see it besides our friends so it doesn’t matter to me!” You just smile at his statement, moving away from him to eagerly start cutting out more heart designs as he sits there and watches you in anticipation.

Time seems to pass by quickly as the two of you make conversation together while you cut out designs and place more and more temporary tattoos onto his delicate skin. As you start putting tattoos on his face, you lean closer to him as you sit on your knees.

“Cover me in badges of your love,” he teasingly says as you place a heart on his right cheek to match with the heart you placed on his left cheek moments before. As you’re about to open your mouth to reply to his cheeky comment, the front door bursts open. Both of your heads snap quickly towards the door to see your friends all standing there.

“Uhhh what’s going on in here?” Sero whistles, a smirk evident on his face, thinking he caught the two of you in a compromising position.

You give Kaminari a puzzled look then turn to your friends. “I’m covering Denki in temporary heart tattoos. Do you want some too?”
