If there was a second crossover between strange new worlds and lower decks I hope it would be the crew of the Enterprise ending up on the Cerritos but not ending up in the lower decks till halfway through the episode and until then they only interact with the bridge crew and miss the ensings by like a slim margin.
I don't know if anyone noticed this yet but Mariner was the furthest away from the portal when Boimler was pulled in but out of all of them she was the first to actually get to the portal.

I'm just wondering about Pike's reaction when someone told him what happend. You basically take 3 day's off to do some important shit and your crew steals your ship, (tbh he is probably not surprised about it) your first officer almost starts a war with Klingons (this seems to be a family trait for them), gets drunk, hires new chief science officer and hangover calls Admiral April in the meantime two of your subordinates who are essential personel take some green drug juice and almost freeze to death in space escaping Klingons and it's only on day one. I haven't written fanfiction since High school especially in English because it's not my first language but for this I may try 😅
Maybe it’s being a badass lady in a sci-fi tv show. Maybe it’s Maybelline. 
Snw Spock needs more sass. We want judgy eyebrow raises and snarky comments poorly disguised by logic
The snw body swap episode definitely had a little bit of that ridiculousness I’ve been missing from most new star trek, I hope they do more of it
I really really want the new star treks like strange new worlds to include some just bat shit crazy episodes. Like I, Mudd from tos where they confuse androids into destruction by dancing around to no music. Or the tribble episode. Or the ds9 episode where they have a full on casino heist, or start a baseball team. Or the captain proton episode on voyager where Janeway has to pretend to be queen arachnia. Like. Give me some episodes like that
i want to see some crazy old trek shit on strange new worlds like i want an episode where the crew is forced by an alien entity to perfectly reenact the events of some nineteenth century novel in full period dress or be vaporized or something. it’s not star trek until they start larping

Well well well, if that isn’t two people who each know a different version of Kirk from separate timelines finally looking at the Kirk who actually belongs into their own timeline
And if that isn’t the guy who has impacted both of them already before ever having met them
(btw I am aware that these aren’t the scenes where they each meet their timeline’s Kirk for the first time, but I really liked how you could see the three of them in one scene here)

Yes, the “We can’t just not look, can we?” scene in Those Old Scientists is hilarious but imagine the Department of Temporal Investigations began to refer to that as the “Boimler Maneuver” or alternatively the “Shy Pisser Maneuver”.
Because that’s very much what it is. It’s an entire room full of people standing in a corner of the room, trying not to look, while you do your business. It just so happens that that business is utilizing methods and technology from the future
It would be very on brand for Boimler that when he finally gets a maneuver named after him it’s also called the “Shy Pisser Maneuver”, forever branding him a shy pee’er regardless of whether he is one or not.
