[MHA / LoZ / Saiki K / JJK / Danganronpa] So Many Fandoms, So Little Time...

I actually drew these a while ago (like a month ago) and am not super happy with all of them, BUT I do like how I drew some of them so I'm gonna post it.

Maybe it'll help some people get to know me better? I'm definitely gonna draw more of these characters/fandoms in the future except for maybe Danganronpa characters lol

First Meeting - Ocarina Of Time Link
First Meeting - Ocarina Of Time Link

The day had started like every other, with you waving goodbye to your parents before running the short yet seemingly long distance to Lon Lon Ranch to spend time with your best friend, Malon. It had been one of your father’s trips to Castle Town for business where you met a red-haired girl humming a soft tune on the path leading to Hyrule Castle. Ever since that day, the two of you had become inseparable, letting the hours run away from you both until it was time for you to depart back to your village.

As the sound of the ranch she lived on drew nearer, your pace picking up slightly as you made quick work of the small hill that lead up into your second home. Passing by a few of the stables you heard the sounds of the cows inside, some of the sounds belonging to new lives that you all thanks the goddesses for. The circle track of the ranch came into view a few seconds later with the horse pen, the few horse they owned happily running around inside.

You could see Malon’s red hair as you approached but the sight of green beside her caught your attention. This was someone new, someone you certainly didn’t know. The childish jealousy struck you but you kept moving forward reaching the two figures as you stopped, hands clasped behind your back. Whatever they were talking about had stopped as Malon looked at you, squealing happily as she jumped on you, hugging tightly as you giggled with her. “Ohhh, (y/n), I have someone you need to meet!”.

Turning her attention behind her back she grabbed the hand of the other child, pulling them towards you. That’s when you could see this was a boy, dressed in green with a small fairy dancing around him. Tilting your head, you leant forward and looked him over as you reached out to poke his cheek. The action took him by surprise as he jumped back slightly, a small giggle slipping past your lips. “(Y/n), this is fairy boy! Fairy boy, this is my best friend (y/n)”.

Tilting your head to the other side, you gave a look of confusion as you looked at the small ball of light now by his head before showing a grin. “Fairy boy? That’s a funny name! I like it!”.

Seven long years had passed since meeting this boy dressed in green, seven years of darkness and despair wherever you looked. The once bustling Castle Town had been destroyed, leaving behind derelict buildings and rubble, once the shops that welcomed people from all over the kingdom. Now no one dared to venture to close, not only due to the horrid sight of the once peaceful Hyrule Castle but the ReDead’s that roamed the town.

All trade had been moved to the once quiet village of Kakariko, the place you grew up in becoming inhabited quickly than you could have ever imagined. While you were proud to be one of the villagers who helped the new inhabitants settle in, part of you wished to go back to simpler times, back to when you were a child with no care in the world, where everything was considered normal.

The day had began like every other, checking in on various villagers to see if they needed anything, offering a hand to those who needed it. Next were the animals that had been moved over, making sure they were fed and watered with the occasional stroke for good measure. There’d been some whispers of a rumour regarding what one of the old ladies has seen the other day on her way back from the ranch. A young man dressed in green taking out one of the few Poes who were scattered around the field.

Something about the mention of a man dressed in green nagged at you for some time but your chose to ignore it, picking up your shawl and basket. You had to run over to the ranch to grab some milk, not that you were thrilled about it but the usual person who went wasn’t well so you volunteered. Of course you were over the moon you got to see Malon but the journey there, that was what you dreaded the most. The stories of the Poes you heard had you feeling uneasy. Really uneasy.

Swallowing the lump in your throat, you took in a breath and waved off to some of the villagers, making the journey towards the place that was once responsible for the happier times in life.

One minute you were travelling back in the direction of your village, the next you were running in the opposite direction, trying your hardest to get rid of the group of Poes that were currently perusing you. If only you hadn’t stopped to chat to Malon for more than a minute, you would be nearly home with not a care in the world yet here you were, praying to the goddess that something or someone would interfere before you became one of the lost souls that was doomed to wander the field for eternity.

Skidding to a halt, you looked at the wall in front of you then to the side, a small opening just visible to you. If you could time it right, you would be high and dry until they gave up their chase, even if you had to wait out the night that was due to come. Looking over your shoulder, you saw the group come towards you. Taking off at a sprint, you gripped onto the basket praying you would make it. That was when you made the mistake of taking your eyes off the path ahead of you, looking back at them to see one disappear. Panic rose up in you as you saw the same Poe now appearing in front of you.

Stumbling over your feet slightly, you stopped and began to slowly walk back, breathing heavily as you began to feel the dread build up inside of you. Would it hurt? You heard people say that dying hurt, that you felt it run throughout every inch of your body before darkness took over, the goddesses welcoming you with open arms as you were into the afterlife, that was if you were one of the lucky ones. The rest were sent either somewhere else or doomed to roam their place of death until time ended. You felt so much regret at the the experiences you never had a chance to have. Here you were, all alone and so close to death.

Eyes landed on the lantern the Poe held, following as it was raised up and swung back, spinning around signalling it was close to its attack. Within seconds it began to move forward, spinning its lantern faster. Closing your eyes, you lifted your arms in an attempt to shield yourself. You knew deep down it was a pathetic attempt but you hoped, hoped that it would somehow save you. Bracing yourself, you finally accepted your fate as you waited for the lantern to collide with your head. Except that never came.

Peaking out from your crossed arms, you saw a flash of green before the Poe vanished into thin air, the others following within mere seconds. Blinking in confusion you dropped your arms slightly, taking in what had just happened. One minute you had been close to death, the next you were a confused mess. Looking up, you raised a hand and shielded your eyes, only to see a hand outstretched to you. Hesitating for a moment you reached out and grabbed it, finding yourself pulled to your feet. “You should be more careful you know, especially with those nuisances around here”.

The intrusion of the voice took you by surprise as you looked at your hero. Of course you knew you should be careful, you were more than aware of the fate you nearly endured. Still, it didn't mean whoever it was had to make you feel bad. Opening your mouth, you went to speak before deciding against it. Now was not the time, you had to get back home before everyone began to worry about you. Picking up your basket, you gripped the handle again and turned on your heel, preparing to make your way back towards Kakariko. Not before you looked over your shoulder. “Of course, forgive me for being so careless sir. Next time you’re around, please stop by Kakariko Village, I’d love to repay you for your heroics there”.

With a small smile you waved your hand and began to make your journey, not before he spoke making you stop in your tracks. You couldn’t quite make out what was said but you shrugged your shoulders none the less. A small ball of light flew past you and stopped, making a small tinkling noise as you tilted your head. A fairy? They were a rare kind, hardly ever seen unless it was with their chosen child of Kokiri Forest. It kind of reminded you of that day seven years ago when you went to visit Malon at the ranch, the fairy boy that was there, his fairy liked to make noises as it flew around.

A moment of realisation dawned on you as you turned around, now looking closer at the male in front of you. Dressed in green with a fairy, sounded awfully familiar to the young boy but the children of Kokiri never grew up so who was this? Taking a small step forward you placed a finger on your lip as you questioned silently. “Is that you fairy boy?”.

At the sound of the name, you could see what appeared to be the smallest of smiles tug at his lips. Something that showed you had gotten it correct. Yet you had so many questions, starting with how on earth he was grown up, it went against all logic. Of course, that meant he had a name, a name that you now wanted to know. As if sensing your question, he got on his horse and turned to face you, nudging the side of the steed to signal it was time to move. Not before speaking a few words, words that he knew you wanted to hear.

“Call me Link”.

My Take on the Hero of Time's Personality (Adult Era - 19 Years Old)

I don't really see many characterizations of Time being arrogant besides like...joke videos on YT and shitposts, I personally think he's a bit of an ass in a way that Revali is, annoying but loveable. I think he'd be arrogant, partially because as a kid he was made fun of by the other Kokiri (though mainly Mido and his gang) for not having a fairy and dreaming of leaving the forest, something that was strictly forbidden to the others because they would perish. Since self-confidence isn't much of a concept to younger children, I feel as if he didn't understand why he felt bad about being different and thus, developed insecurity and low self-esteem. Another reason for his arrogance is probably because he doesn't want to be seen as weak. He was the only one that experienced the time jump between 'current' and 'future' Hyrule, but for him they were empty years. He wanted to seem like he had actually did something in those 7 years, so he tries to show off his skills so he doesn't seem like a fraud to himself, and weak to those around him, especially his enemies.

Annnnywho here's the blurb of his actual personality I came up for him, I kinda put it as a summary:

Link is an adventurous spirit, always trying to find new places to see and new things to do. Even so, he’s not good at navigating, and oftentimes gets stuck in a situation he threw himself in without thinking.

Link is also very impulsive, and he tends to say things he may (or may not) mean to people. He likes to joke around a lot, even if he’s supposed to be serious, due to the fact he still has the immaturity (and some innocence) of a child from the 7 year time skip from pulling the Master Sword.

Link is quite confident in himself as well, and he often likes showing off his various skills, even if he’s not as good at them as he chooses to believe.

Despite these traits that could come off as annoying or negative, he still will help others in need, even if it's begrudgingly so. He has a very strong sense of justice, as he fights with his heart and soul to bring an end to the darkness and evil that has taken its hold on Hyrule.

Link cares about the people around him genuinely, even if it doesn’t seem to be the case for some people, or if he jokes about or around them a lot. He tries his best to consider everyone’s well-being when he does things, though he doesn’t do a good job at it most of the time.

Link sometimes exhausts himself to finish something if he’s close to reaching a goal, as his thoughts are that ‘I’m just that close, I might as well finish’.

Link is also quite intelligent, even behind his seemingly dense act he puts up sometimes if he just doesn’t want to do something. He sometimes doesn’t think about his surroundings, and often misjudges how far things are from him, even with his perfectly normal eyesight. Oddly enough, he is overcome with fear in a lot of situations, but as the bearer of the Triforce of Courage, it gives him the strength to pull through and continue fighting, no matter how scared he may be.

When he is scared, he hides it behind a confident bravado, seemingly unfazed and fearless, despite the fear and anxiety within.

Link also has a softer, more relaxed side, that usually shows when he’s alone, out in Hyrule field, or at Lon Lon Ranch, oftentimes helping Malon with the horses. (He…also goes there to see her anyway.)

Link gets fired up in an angry determination when he sees that the people he cares about are in potential danger, or when Kokiri Forest has been overrun by monsters.

Overall, Link is a slightly immature jokester with a heart of gold.

I think I'll be posting the Hero of the Wild next :)

Got these lads some better references! Not complete ones, but they're still pretty good.

Got These Lads Some Better References! Not Complete Ones, But They're Still Pretty Good.

Here are the 8 Links I'm planning on including! I have general characterization concepts for all the others, but they were being kinda annoying designs. I might include em as I continue to figure out this AU, but for now here's what I got!

Got These Lads Some Better References! Not Complete Ones, But They're Still Pretty Good.

Our very first hero! I don't really consider the SS prequel manga canon here so Sky's the very first holder of the Hero's spirit. He's a very kind soul, protective of those he cares for and holding the endless determination and courage of any hero.

After the end of Skyward Sword, Sky's taken up a bit of an 'ambassador to the surface' type role, educating those who've come down with while Zelda spends as much time as she can with her family on Skyloft. Though the scars from his fight with Demise still twinge, Sky's happy to move forward with his life on the surface.

Got These Lads Some Better References! Not Complete Ones, But They're Still Pretty Good.

Minish is our youngest member, but that doesn't mean you can underestimate him. Minish is quiet, playful, and endlessly curious. He's the best spy this chain has, able to shrink down to the size of a mouse and be completely invisible to everyone but fellow children.

After saving Zelda from being encased in stone and having her light force drained, Minish simply seeks to spend his time enjoying his childhood with his best friend and learning to forge a sword as good as the four sword.

Got These Lads Some Better References! Not Complete Ones, But They're Still Pretty Good.

Mask is our resident angst, his life has been far too hard. Mask is mysterious, closed off, and talented. With the body of a teenager and the mind of a young adult, this lad has plenty of tricks up his sleeve.

Resuming his travels after Termina, Mask finds himself looking for somewhere to belong. He's travelled to Labrynna, Holodrum, Koradai, and yet the only place he really felt any sense of family remains in that strange war with Tune and Captain. Perhaps, someday, he'll find his way back to them.

Got These Lads Some Better References! Not Complete Ones, But They're Still Pretty Good.

Tune's our resident navigator! He can read and create maps and starcharts like no other, plus he knows his way around a boat. Despite the more pirat-y aesthetic, Tune's really a sweetheart. Sure, he enjoys finding abandoned treasure and sailing, but he's hardly a ruthless bounty hunter or thief. He just loves meeting people, and wants to help anywhere he can. A trait practically required for the hero life.

After his adventures, Tune's living a life of travel on the Great Sea. He has his own boat, but broadly he sails with Tetra, the two finding buried treasures from Hyrule. He's always had that itch to go somewhere, to do something, and maybe he's about to get exactly what he wants.

Got These Lads Some Better References! Not Complete Ones, But They're Still Pretty Good.

Wolf's a bit of a mysterious edgy man himself, but this time it's all appearances. Our resident furry is just a big huggable rancher with a protective streak when it comes to his family. He's amazing with animals, and with the help of a certain amazing nose, he can track basically anything.

I'm diverging from canon a lot here. Midna's never shattered the mirror of twilight in this universe, she's just not around in the light world because it would hurt to be anything more than a shadow there. Instead, after their adventure Wolf and her hang out frequently. Wolf's pretty content with his lot in life, he's got his family, his home, and his best friend. Really, what more could he ask for?

Got These Lads Some Better References! Not Complete Ones, But They're Still Pretty Good.

Unabashed favorite character alert, Four's a bit of an asshole. Like, they're very heroic and frankly, often right, but they've still got an arrogance problem. They're fiercely loyal and incredibly smart, and will take the role as supposed leader because frankly, no one else wants the title.

After returning the Four Sword with Vaati and Ganon completely obliterated, Four's gone back to their life as a knight. There's still a fierce purple ache in their chest for a certain Shadow, but the teal confidence easily shoves that to the side in favor of being the perfect warrior. Now, Four's rising through the ranks of Hyrule's guard, ready for whatever challenge comes next.

Got These Lads Some Better References! Not Complete Ones, But They're Still Pretty Good.

Wild fits their name very well. They're quick to explore every mountain and valley, loot every chest, and find every korok. Incredibly different from the Link from before the Calamity, they share memories but not so much experiences. Wild is the best archer in the group, even without their champion ability.

I can't quite decide whether I want Wild to be pre or post TOTK, but it doesn't make too terribly much of a difference. After his adventure he continues to explore Hyrule and the lands beyond it. He's verrryyy close with his Zelda, and the two like to do a bit of mad science with Purah every so often. He's happy with his new lease in life, but if the chance comes to explore something new? Well, Wild's definitely going to take it.

Got These Lads Some Better References! Not Complete Ones, But They're Still Pretty Good.

Cap's here! And he's a bit of a mess. Traumatized from his fights with Cia and Dark Link, Captain has trouble being confident in himself at all anymore. He's always been naturally confident, but ever since that first battle with Dark, Captain's been suppressing that part of himself. He's a very skilled leader and tactician, with the most experience working with a large group.

After the war Captain.. didn't really know what to do with himself. His friends had left, and there was no longer anything to fight against. He decided to dedicate himself to being a guard, but he still felt a little empty. He's never really moved on from the events of the war, but maybe soon he'll return to some old friends.

I'm totally making a new Links Meet AU, I've yet to come up with a proper name for it (suggestions are appreciated) but for now I'm just sketching up character ideas. The story itself is kinda... Not entirely clear, as well, maybe it'll just be an ask blog? Suggestions are appreciated!

Yes these are all sketches on random sheets of paper I use for work, I find it easier to get all the broad stuff done in little sketches and refine the design later.

My headcanons for what each link would become when exposed to the shard of twilight/to the dark world and why.

Skyward sword Link (sky): straight up puppy. He's a very friendly, sociable, and loyal Link. Maybe more like a golden retriever

Minish cap Link (minish): Mouse! Very tiny mouse. I think he's generally pretty shy, cautious, so a small rodent would make a lot of sense.

Ocarina of Time/Majora's mask (time): Canon wolf.

ALTTP, Oracles, & Link's awakening (legend): Canon bunny

LoZ I and II (Hyrule): I don't really know em that much but I think dog, maybe even Retriever, like Sky. Mostly based off LU.

Twilight princess (twilight): canon wolf

Four swords adventures: Rats! Since they're very social, could split into a rat pack. Rats can have a very wide range of personalities, like most other pets, but I think they fit Shadow Link a bit more, so by default I go rat.

Wind waker & phantom hourglass(wind): Frog, because I want them to be able to handle both land and water.

Spirit tracks: I got no clue I never played that.

Hyrule warriors (warriors): cat. Very pretty, very opinionated. Will tell you if you're annoying them.

Age of Calamity (Champion, different from post-memory wipe Link): A dog. But now, a very specifically trained dog, like a German shepherd.

Breath of the wild & tears of the kingdom: They're a blupee. If you'd prefer a real animal, a mischievous little rat. But I prefer blupee because he is very much a little blue guy that runs around the forest
