Hello, my name is Kakebezi Jasenta. I’m a trans woman living in Refugee Camp in South Sudan. First, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported me in the past your kindness has meant so much to me.I’m currently facing a very serious and urgent medical crisis. A few days ago, I was hospitalized due to severe ulcers and heavy bleeding when using the toilet. Sadly,
I was discharged before I had fully recovered because I couldn’t afford to stay longer. Then, just yesterday, I was attacked in a violent transphobic incident. I was robbed of my phone and the small amount of money I had, and my arm was badly broken in the assault. After returning to the hospital and undergoing Xrays, the doctors told me I need urgent surgery. The operation will cost $1,500 USD and must be done within two weeks. If I don’t get it in time, I could permanently lose function in my arm or worse, they may have to amputate it.I am humbly asking for $2,000 USD to cover the surgery and basic needs during recovery. Any amount of help whether it’s through donating, sharing, or spreading the word would mean the world to me.Thank you so much for your support and compassion. Kakebezi Jasenta
