Winn & Jasmine: my MLP AU Edition! ~*
Semi-complex designs for these two as their color schemes are unique, but easily clash. Had to find a fun way to mix them!
I usually base these mlp designs on the prominent colors of their most worn outfit or general color vibes. Utilized to its full extent here :]
Winn
- Winn is a hippogriff! Their hair reminded me of one & they seem to be the tallest of the trio, so this felt like a cool choice for them.
- They were the first in their class to get their cutie mark, in an assignment in which you had to write up a law / act and persuade people to vote in favor of it. Winn did this with both a good presentation and the power of cool as heck skateboard skills. Their cutie mark is a colorfully lined scroll and a skateboard on it! (This cutie mark is based on their answer during the career presentation.)
The whole class was in awe to see them earn it in class, and Dev was rather jealous at first. Ultimately respects them, though.
Jasmine
- Jasmine is a kirin! She reminds me a bit of Autumn Blaze, I think they'd be friends if they were in the same mlp universe.
- She dyes herself with magic to get those blue stripes, spots on her mane and tail, and leopard or cheetah spots (based on the print on her shorts).
- Her cutie mark has to do with her love of music / singing. Even if a bit scratchy & rough right now, passion for something can definitely lead you down plenty of paths you want to be on in the future!
AU Info
- The area they live in has a lot of different creatures living together
- Most of the main character names are easily fantasy names, so I'm keeping them the same for the most part unless the name is less mlp-like. Will likely give them different last names though!
Peri & Dev
Hazel & Cosmo & Wanda -
Hazel and Cosmo & Wanda: my MLP Edition! ~*
Hazel is a crystal earth pony!
- She loves this fact about herself because her hooves are crystal. Her cutie mark relates to her passion for geology and the colorful crystals are representative of her fun and creative personality!
(Plus, I put that shiny out-of-this-world rock in the design, love that gem.)
Fairyzie Lore
- Combining the words Fairy and Breezie since this is a powerful subspecies of breezie! I alternatively thought of "faebreezie" but I can't stop wheezing every time I read that name, so I went with Fairyzie instead ~*
- Decided that fairyzies customize their antennae the way they want them to look with magic. Before then, they have a default antennae look that they are born with, influenced by their parents. They also take the shape of objects around the baby sometimes after birth (Peri's example here: a baby rattle).
Cosmo
- Gave him a comet-like antennae and cutie mark. His cutie mark is cosmic and swirly, fitting to a powerful being (*cough* Von Strangle *cough*). But instead of a mystic spiral, it's a silly swirl in the cosmos :]
Wanda
- Her cutie mark is her wand antenna and a W (for her name) crown above it, surrounded by stars (space and wishes). I feel it's representative of her way of doing things & her fairyzie godparenting.
(Wand antenna-like cutie marks are fairly common amongst godparents and those who like magic, with both her husband and son having hints of this in their marks.)
I had to resize Cosmo & Wanda a lot, so here's the drawing before shrinking them + Hazel by herself too ~
ALSO, SOME EXTRA FAIRYWINKLE-COSMA FAMILY CONTENT!
I was struggling to draw all three characters, so I started sketching these for an extra serotonin boost :]
(1) Baby Peri & Cosmo (Proud dad moment)
(2) Four year old Peri (Please don't put him in an insect collection)
(3) Wanda, speaking to Hazel & Dev: Peri used to curl up like a kitten when he was 4. He called himself "Dapper Cat" and staged a whole dramatic cat tale with Irep

Wanda: It was very cute. He learned his favorite song is "Posin'" when I turned on some music for him to dance to
Fun Facts
- Hazel's reaction afterwards would be "Aww", and Dev says, "That sounds lame."
- Peri really likes electro swing music
- Peri could imitate a kitten 100% accurately and Irep could not. So he taught him and it ended up going like this

A New Wish got me, so I gotta express myself with animal fantasy creatures xD
Peri has a breezie design here! He has a cutie mark, cause I make the rules. I imagine fairies as just larger, more powerful breezies in this mini-au ^^
It is absolutely essential that he has a poofy tail
Dev is a unicorn colt! With some white spots on his back and hooves. The gold above back hooves are an accessory.
- His magic isn't very strong, but useful for carrying tech around.
- I thought about what his cutie mark should be for a bit and decided on two customized coins (heads and tails, design based on Doug Dimmadome's belt buckle) and two arrows indicating a flip. It can be seen as relating to wanting to be involved with business, but also his ability to make decisions, reflect on them, and turn them around sometimes. It's a trait I really like about his character :]
I badly want to draw Hazel, Cosmo, and Wanda next. Hoping to keep the motivation xD
What Are Your Unpopular Cartoon Opinions(+ Mine)?
1. She-ra is a bit overrated(still appreciate it.)
Don't get me wrong, I deeply appreciate the LGBTQ+ representation in the show, but I can't really get into it. Some of the characters are hard for me to connect with and that is something rewlly important for me when watching a show. Some plot points were really rushed like the entirety of season 3 and the series finale. There were a few characters that kind of annoyed me like Glimmer and Catra.
2. Voltron: Legendary Defender is overrated.
Around the time it was still airing, I heard so many people say it was one of the greatest cartoons of the 2010's and how the writing was amazing. So I watched and imo, it's meh. I just have a lot of problems with the writing like the Lion switch, clone Shiro, and the series finale. Everything felt so rushed.
Though, I love Shiro's backstory(He's amazing!)
3. Steven Universe Future was not a great season.
I was so excited when SUF was announced, hoping that most of all of my unanswered plot points would be answered. Some were, but everything was so rushed. Steven's impending breakdown quickened a bit too much, and stories like Aquamarine & Eyeball's return were added in seemingly without a thought.
The season was also pretty forgettable.
4. Young Justice has lost its charm(still really like it.)
I love Young Justice! It's one of my favorite shows if all time, but I have to admit that it doesn't feel the same way. The charm it had in the first two seasons is not present in the latest one. The characters' relationships are integral to the show and is a reason why the show is loved. Season 3 mostly focused on new characters and most of them don't have development.
I hope Season 4 fixes that.
5. I actually liked Poof being added in FOP.
I've seen so many people say Poof ruined the show, which I disagree with. Poof is not my favorite character, but I find it cute and a good addition to the cast.
6. Rise of TMNT is pretty good.
There have been a lot of people, specifically TMNT fans, saying Rise is awful and a disgrace to the franchise. I respect the show for wanting to do something new since some of them work. It's not my favorite, but I have a fun time watching it when I want to relax.
7. Season 4 of RWBY was pretty good.
Old fans of the web series say the show went downhill during season 4. I say it turned for the worse in season 5.
8. TMNT 2012 April is not a terrible person.
I see this version of April as a character who was tragically poorly-written. She had the potential to be amazing if the writers didn't label her only as a love interest. I went more in depth in one of my earliest posts.
9. Miraculous Ladybug is not as good anymore.
The love square is getting irritating. It made sense going slow since Marinette and Adrien are getting to know each other. Miraculous had also gotten more cringey that it is almost unwatchable.
10. I prefer the newer episodes of Phineas & Ferb over the older ones.
This is more of a perference. I just like the newer episodes, especially after Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension. I love that movie with all my heart!
Super ultra epic drawing challenge I finally finished 🔥 I drew Lui in a few different popular franchises styles. I also tried to copy the render techniques for each. Might or might not be accurate xD

Season 2 Theory: Hazel accidentally restored Dev's memory with her rule-free wish.
Hazel's wish was basically "I wish my brother and my friends get to keep their memory of fairies/magic". Hazel respected Dev for giving up everything in order to save the Godparents, so she's possibly open to considering him a friend again.
Imagine memory wiped Dev gets home, then gets his memory back seemingly out of nowhere a few minutes later. Everyone seems to have forgotten his takeover of Fairy World, and Hazel is back to handwaving magical happenings. He's confused and afraid to ask what happened in case Jorgen decides to fix his apparent mistake. Dev accepts he's not getting Peri back and tries improving himself (with varied success).
Sooner or later, everyone realizes he remembers and have to decide to investigate what happened or hide it from Jorgen.

Also kinda wanted to clarify one thing. A lot of people said that if Peri would go boom boom w/ confetti than Irep would too. But i kinda have a hc about it. The first time we learned that anti fairies would die if their fairies die is when Foop wanted Timmy to loose his fairies and his wishes would disappear (esp Poof). Than Jorgen said that if Poof would be unwished, than Foop will disappear too. But i think that would be different when it comes to the death itself. Like, if Poof would be unwished than it means like he never existed, so Foop technically couldn't be born too. So if Peri just dies in the current time bc of magical backup than he just dies and it won't do anything to Irep. Because they both are already born, no one messes with time or unwishes anything, he just dies. That would make a lot of sense, especially if we'll remember how Foop was always trying to destroy Poof in OG FOP. That would be pretty dumb if he killing poof would mean that he'd disappear w/ him. So yeah, i think it doesn't work that way. ANYWAY i hope you understood me, because i feel like my grammar really sucks
Also against it's my headcanon, bc i don't know exactly how it works in canon and kinda don't want to check

There should be a fairy timmy who only has enough magic to grant wishes for one day every once in a while he goes to earth and takes over for a fairy god parent and sees if the kids have found any new loopholes so he can fix the rules, and none of the god parents are supposed to know.
It should not have taken me this long to realise that there's canonical mpreg in the fairly oddparents
