Nonhuman Symbol

This is my proposal for a nonhuman symbol; for people who identify as nonhuman in any sense. I couldn't personally decide which version I preferred, with the outer circle on the end or linked with the diamond, so I went with both.

The symbol is meant to represent many varieties of nonhumanity, and include different experiences and communities within it:

The outermost circle represents nonhumanity as a whole- the broad nonhuman community in which anyone can be included, and one's personal experiences with nonhumanity.

The inner circle with a dot represents those with psychological experiences of some kind, as it resembles the disability sun. Not just those with psychological origins- it is for anyone with psychological experiences, or something similar.

The two lines protruding out represent external experiences, such as spiritual, metaphysical, or otherwise outside experiences. This, too, represents anyone with these experiences, not just someone's origins.

The diamond represents multiple things: It can represent one's body, whether it be their physical one or otherwise, it can represent one's personhood and sense of nonhuman identity, and it can represent those who feel a desire to have a nonhuman body / nonhuman body parts, those who already have them (such as in headspace), those who have phantom limbs or otherwise, and so on. It is also a vague homage to the term aldernic.

Anybody who considers themself nonhuman, regardless of why they are nonhuman or in what way, may use this symbol for what they'd like. This includes subterms, such as ahuman.

And I really love them. So I'm going to add these as yet another version of the symbol.

Suburban Coyote

A flag for therians and alterhumans who identify as/with suburban coyotes (coyotes that live in suburban/exurban environments), who identify as coyotes and also live in the suburbs/exurbs, or who generally identify with the idea of being a wild animal that’s had to persevere and adapt to a suburban environment!

This flag and identity are intended as a companion to the urban coyote flag I posted here; that version can be used as an umbrella term for both of these identities or as a term specifically for the urban/city-dwelling version of the identity, while this one is specifically referring to suburbs/exurbs!

I, personally, am a coyote therian who lives in an exurban environment (the area where I live is much more rural than the suburbs, but is still connected to nearby urban and suburban areas); the fact that my location is fairly rural, with lots of forests and farmland, means that it’s not an area of discomfort for me, but I still feel like living in a somewhat urban area affects my identity as a wild animal. Furthermore, as I mentioned in my urban coyote post, coyotes and other wild animals that live in developed/human-dominant areas have to adapt and change their behavior to survive in those habitats, which is a concept that I believe many therians and alterhumans can relate to!

alternative transspecies flag

i personally believe transspecies is transitioning (socially or medically) to your desired species, including the change of sex identity and sex traits related to species.

personally, because i think shortened words are cool, i like using "transse" (trans-sea/trans-sé) short for [transs]peci[e]s.

the symbol was inspired by the image all the way at the bottom, not by me.

flag is four horizontal stripes, top to bottom; cranberry, lavender, white, lavender, cranberry, then a thin black bar on the right side. symbol is an alternative transspecies symbol, featuring a mix between the bigenital symbol, the mars symbol, the venus symbol with the holothere anchor, and a rounded theta delta.

examples:

a transspecies mare, a transse bull, a transspecies gonosimulite, speciesqueer tom, etc...

non-human body flag

for anyone who has / is in a body that is not human, regardless of what labels they use
