The ol’ bastard’s birthday

It is that old Horrid Phobias Lovecraft’s birthday today. And I am delighted to be seeing his ideas of cosmic horror being torn from his cold, shriveled, horrid hands. That the concepts of the unknown aren’t being co-opted into HP’s own prejudices.

If anyone hasn’t been following awful fandom twitter things in the past week, you might have missed the horrible racist harassment campaign directed at Krystina Arielle, who is a delightful person I’m sure many of you know from things like “Sirens of the Realms,” Critical Role’s “Honey Heist 3,” Dimension 20′s “Pirates of the Leviathan” and lots of other online D&D content. She’s also a part of “Into the Motherlands,” a great TTRPG stream using the Cortex system.
