I have made an archive blog for Dungeon Master Inspiration!
Are you a Dungeon Master? Do you run a fantasy ttpprpg in D&D 5e or Pathfinder 1e/2e? Or maybe the new Daggerheart or the MCDM rpg? Either way - I made this fantasy archive blog for Dungeon Master inspiration where I reblog all of the cool stuff that I happen to stumble upon here on tumblr. Maybe you will find it useful! It is easier to know if you check it out ;)
More development on the 2D side of a game I want to make. This time on the environment side of things.
Santiago Montiel helped our art director, Benjamin, and the rest of the team in the early stages of the production of our bachelor film. He is a great guy! Also, our film has been nominated as a possible candidate for the Ekko film list. So please go vote, if you like what you saw. It does not require sign-up or anything annoying (even though it IS in Danish).
I felt so happy to give some advice to Benjamin Bach on his work for this beautiful animated graduation short film. He and his colleagues worked hard for the pleasure of our eyes. Check it out and don’t hesitate to vote for their film here http://www.ekkofilm.dk/shortlist/film/the-shepherd/
Last week was busy. Next week will also be busy! But in the meantime? More colour for the GNOME KNIGHTS! (wip)
Another warm-up sketch from last week. This time it is a Castlevania / Trevor Belmont-inspired human fighter.
A fanart of a location in one of my favourite games through out the last couple of years. This is Liurnia of the Lakes, from the game Elden Ring.
I've seen plenty of fanarts of different characters from the game, but not that often tributes to the locations/environments.
I noticed how I did way too few backgrounds, so I gave it a go. Still very WIP. As most other things I upload in here.
I have gathered a pile of the assets I have made for making D&D maps. They are all PNGs and there are castles, towns, ruins, villages, mountains, trees, forests and hills. They should work VTTs and similar programs. Q: Why do this? A: So other people can use these assets to make their OWN maps. So yeah, I'm giving them away for free. Feel free to test them out!
GOOGLE DRIVE FOLDER OF THE FREE D&D MAP ASSETS.
I have made an example map here, using photoshop. But if you want to change parts of the assets, crop them or color them and you don't have access to any art programs, I recommend using Photopea It is a browser-based version of something very akin to photoshop.
If you end up using these free assets, please do let me know and tag me so I can see what you have made.
I have been thinking about making a t-shirt for a while now and finally decided to do something about it. This is the motif.
