I have joined a wargaming group to play Mordheim! It is an out-of-print skirmish game from 1999 that is no longer supported, but the community keeps the game alive and all the rules can be found for free online (broheim.net) The game feels like being the coach of an entire D&D party with a common theme. It is played with miniatures and usually with lots of terrain simulating the ruin cursed city of Mordheim. And get this, your small guys often times level up and find cool new loot. And lasting injuries. And what's my warband? Oldschool ratmen, the Skaven of clan Eshin.

Their two-handed axe is called Relief. The paladin can feel when the oldest and sickest of the trees yearn to be one with the earth and lie among the fallen leaves. And Relief grants them their final wish.

I have made an archive blog for Dungeon Master Inspiration!
Are you a Dungeon Master? Do you run a fantasy ttpprpg in D&D 5e or Pathfinder 1e/2e? Or maybe the new Daggerheart or the MCDM rpg? Either way - I made this fantasy archive blog for Dungeon Master inspiration where I reblog all of the cool stuff that I happen to stumble upon here on tumblr. Maybe you will find it useful! This time around in miniatures, it's Blood Skeletons!! These were fairly easy to approach, colourscheme-wise and how forgiving they were to mistakes - which was super nice. Also, it's pretty cool how a bit of gloss vanish can make them look extra grody. Can you imagine how their necromancer makes the earth start boiling in front of you and as it turns to dark red sludge, these guys crawling out of the puddles of goo?? Gross! Amazing! Made from Soulblight Gravelords Deathrattle Skeletons and Wizkids Deep Cuts Unpainted skeletons.

Last weekend I was at Nordic Game Jam in Copenhagen! Approx 500 people came from all over the world and made game prototypes in just x48 hours. My team made a co-op arena game about using mirrors to concentrate UV beams to charge up an objective-marker bulb. Oh and by the way, the arena is being attacked by energy vampires, flying decapitated Frankenstein-monster heads and swarms of blood bats! Want to try it out yourself? Or with a friend?
