Scared And Alone (6/12)

Y/n stared at the ceiling above her as she lay on the bed. She rolled her eyes as she heard a knock on the door and turned her head to see Aisha standing in the doorway.

"I came to check on you. Your going to be late for class." Aisha stated, pointing behind her. "Hmm." Y/n agreed, not moving. "I really think you should get up now." Aisha tried again. "Oh just leave me alone Aisha. I didn't ask for your help." Y/n snapped suddenly causing Aisha to jump back slightly. "I'm sorry I just....." "Just get out. NOW!" Y/n all but screamed as she glared at the water fairy.

Y/n got up and locked the door once Aisha had closed it. She slid down it and just stared ahead of her, feeling numb.

Aisha closed the door in confusion. Y/n had never snapped at any of the girls in the winx dorm. She looked at Musa with wide eyes to see her looking at y/ns door in concentration.

"What's wrong?" Aisha asked as Bloom and Terra came over after hearing the commotion. "I dunno but for some reason y/n is feeling grieve and sadness?" Musa said in a questionable tone when Stella came out of her room. "Y/n's probably just being dramatic for no reason but for attention." Stella stated, walking to the kitchen without a care. "That doesn't sound like y/n." Terra stated cautisly. "Well you don't know her that well do you, she's a second year, your just a first year. She's just looking for attention." Stella stated before leaving the suite to find Sky before she met with her mom. "I'm going to go tell dad incase it has something to do with the antidote he had given her a while ago." Terra stated, causing the other girls to nod before leaving the dorm.

---------------------------------------

Y/n stared blankly ahead of her, feeling numb as she watched the photo in front of her with her parents from her position on the floor. Two months ago she had them by her side and now she had no one. Sky and Riven were with Beatrix and Stella and didnt have time for her so she couldn't go to them.

Y/ns breathing increased as tears began to fall down her cheeks. Her eyes were red and swollen from the continuous crying she had done. Balling her hands into fists, she slammed them onto the ground beside her. Ice formed around her on the ground but she didn't care, just stared at it with dull eyes.

She looked up as she heard a knock on the door. "Y/n, it's Headmistress Dowling and Headmaster Silva, can you open the door please." She heard Dowling say through the door as the door nob moved. "Y/n, we just want to see that your okay." Silva stated.

Y/n rolled her eyes but got up none the less. Unlocking the door, she opened it a jar before moving away and towards the window. She glanced towards them as Silva and Dowling came in, looking down at the ice before at her. She turned to look out the window as Dowling began to talk.

"You weren't attending your classes." Dowling stated. "I'm not in the mood for learning." Y/n mutterd, not moving her vision from the window. "Y/n........... look I know it's hard and I know you miss them but you can't keep being like this. It's not healthy." "I lost my parents, I think I'm aloud to feel the way I'm feeling." Y/n stated, glaring at Dowling slightly. "But you don't have to do it on your own. You should talk to someone, anyone. What about Sky or Riven?" "They don't care. No one does." "That's not true............" Silva stated. "Isn't it. I can't remember the last time I've had a proper conversation with them, how am I to tell them if all they do is blow me off for some girls. Every time I get the courage to tell them they get called away from little miss princess or some first year who does drugs and smokes like nobodies business. Even when I was in the informatory they ran off as soon as they called them. they wouldn't of known only Bloom told Sky. It's like Stella says, I'm nothing to them." Y/n looked Silva in the eyes at the end.

The two teachers looked at the broken girl in front of them as she just stared out the window with no emotion on her face. Dowling looked at Silva to see a look of disappointment and anger on his face.

"What bout the girls, I'm sure one of them could help you." Dowling stated, trying to get her talk again only for y/n to roll her eyes. "I don't need to talk to anyone so please leave me the HELL ALONE." Y/n screamed at them.

She shot her arm out towards them causing ice to come towards them. Y/n pushed it towards them causing Dowling and Silva to step backwards with wide eyes. It was only when they closed the door that y/n dropped her hand and made the ice disappear as she looked at the door in shock. Rushing towards it she turned the lock. Watching the door in shock she placed her hand over her mouth as she walked backwards, falling back as her legs hit the window seat. She placed her hands over face and broke down as she realized she could of killed her teachers. Ice spread over the window as she continued to cry.

---------------------------

Riven and Sky fought with sticks as they trained together. Silva walked towards them and stood watching for a second before shaking his head and walking onto the mat, gaining their attention.

"Have you seen y/n today?" He asked them. "No, why?" Sky replied as Riven grabbed their water bottles, handing one to Sky. Silva looked down with a mock laugh, shaking his head. "Why are you asking us if we've seen her." Riven asked, taking a swig from his bottle. "How can you be so blind." He stated, looking at the two boys with dissapointment. "I don't understand." Sky started only for Silva to interrupt him. "You two are so caught up with Stella and Beatrix that you can't see that your friend, who you guys have called family, is hurting inside." Silva stated, trying not to shout at them. "Y/n? What's wrong with her?" Riven asked. "I am very disappointed in you two. Y/n has been fighting a battle with herself thw whole time school has been on and you two have done nothing to show her that she could confide in you. She has needed you and neither of you have been there." Silva stated in a harsh voice, looking Sky in the eye with disappointment evident in his eyes. "Where is she?" Sky asked with concern. "In her room. She hasn't left it all day." Silva stated before the two boys ran off, throwing their sticks and bottles along the way.

The two ran through the halls, not caring about bumping into. Skidding into the door, Riven slammed it open before he and Sky rushed to y/ns door. Rivens eyes widened as he seen ice coming out from under the door. He elbowed Sky and pointed at it causing Sky to knock on the door abruptly.

"Y/n, are you in there?" Sky shouted through the door only to get no answer. "Y/n, we know your there, open up." Riven stated, banging on the door.

--------------------------------------

Y/n looked up in alarm as she heard Sky and Riven through the door. Looking down at her bloodied wrist she cursed herself and rushed towards her bedside table, grabbing the gauze she had taken from the bathroom and wrapping it around her wrists. She looked up as she heard the boys pleading at her to open the door. Once finished she through the shard of glass into the drawer and slammed it shut before going to the door.

As she opened the door she seen Sky and Riven looking stressed. Seeing y/ns numb facial expression their eyes turned to a look of concern and worry as they pushed her back gently and made their way into the room, ignoring when they nearly slipped on the ice.

"What the hell is going on?" Riven asked sharply in concern causing Sky to elbow him in the side. Y/n just looked towards a picture of her with her parents and Sky and Riven during the holidays with tears building in her eyes. "Y/n?" Sky asked softly, moving his head to catch her eyes, "Can you tell us what's going on?" "As if you care." She muttered but they heard her. "What, of course we care, why would you think we don't." Riven asked in confusion. "Your always with Beatrix and Sky's always with Stella, your never around anymore." "It;s not their fault you don't talk to us." "Every time I try to tell you something your always going to them. I have been trying to tell you since the beginning something important but you always at the girls beckon call!" Y/n stated, raising her voice. "Stella is having a hard time right now." Sky reasoned, raising his voice a little. "And Beatrix needs my help with something." Riven stated, trying not to shout. "I hae had the worst two months of my life, and you haven't been there for me. I feel so alone and scared and I have needed you, but you weren't there." Y/n stated with a raised voice, causing the boys features to soften. "Y/n, what's going on?" Sky asked causing her to burst into tears.

Y/n shook her head and made a run to exit the door. Riven grabbed her arm and pulled her into a hug causing her to fight.

"Y/n, y/n stop, calm down." Riven stated, trying t calm her down. "Riven let me leave, please." Y/n begged, struggling to get out of his arms. "no, you need to calm down." He stated, looking at Sky who watched helplessly.

Y/n stopped fighting and Riven slowly eased his grip. Holding her arms he moved away a bit and looked her in the eyes. Y/n glanced down and seen the metal bracelet which was his third of the friendship bracelets the group had. Looking up at Riven she looked into his eyes. She grabbed his wrist and used her eyes to make the metal turn to ice. Riven gasped and let go of y/n in shock causing her to start running. Sky ran to stop her but she threw ice on the ground in front of him causing him to slip before she left the room and ran to the forest.

In which inevitable becomes reality 3/3

In Which Inevitable Becomes Reality 3/3

Y/n sat at the door as bangs were heard outside the hall. Students shook in fear as the bangs were loud and close to the storage unit where they were hiding, and y/n feared for what was behind those doors. Everyone froze as a knock was heard, and y/n held her breath as a voice came through.

“Police open up. Officer Dunne, 43387, institute B” A voice called out through the door and y/n breathed out in relief as she heard them recite the information.

“Okay class, slowly and calmly, form a single line, link hands and get ready to move, crouch down and stay low, understood.” Y/n spoke softly, trying to calm the students down.

“How do we know it’s not the shooter.” A student asked and y/n smiled reassuringly.

“It’s okay, it’s not him.” Y/n assured them, although she knew there was a slight chance of it not being police, she was adamant that it was.

Students nodded and hesitantly got up, forming a line as y/n slowly pushed the gym mats out of the way. She winched as she pulled her shoulder but ignored it, adamant to get her students to safety. Carefully unlocking the door, without a sound y/n slowly opened the door, peaking through the gap to ensure it was the emergency services. Confirming it was the police, she opened the door fully and moved out of the way, allowing the kids to move out of the stuffy compartment before following last. With the kids holding hands and looking around for the shooter, they slowly made their way to the exit.

Y/n sighed as she realized that the fear that had become embedded in the childrens minds would now be engraved into their memory. She herself would find it hard to forget, however, y/n's thoughts were more at ease when they came towards the exit, and relief filled her as she seen the crowds of parents being reunited with their kids.

------------------------------------------

Frank, Danny and Jamie stood together as they watched the armed forces slowly bring students out, teachers following as they reunited with their loved ones. Danny shook his head in disbelief as he seen the fear written over the kids faces, the reality of school shootings turning up to their door steps present.

The three Reagan men watched as students ran to their parents, everyone crying in relief and worry of what had happened. The waves of students started to slow and they watched the entrance eagerly as they waited to see y/n being escorted to safety. With their vision purely on the school building none of them recognized the chief coming towards them until he was beside them, and their heads snapped to face him.

“I honestly don’t get some people. Who in their right mind thinks going into a school building, shooting people or in random areas is a smart thing to do.” Danny stated, not believing the reality of their home country.

“Beyond sickening. I mean these are children that now have to live with the fact that someone came into their school and shoot random people just for the hell of it.” Jamie agreed, shaking his head in disgust.

“We’ll never know what goes through their heads, or these kids. But we can be there for them, and hope that they can somehow move on.” Frank stated, watching as the kids were brought to safety.

" Shooter down, I repeat shooter down. Students and one teacher being lead out to safety." The voice commented and the trio sighed in relief.

“There’s one last class in the gym where the shooter was seen, were just waiting for the shooter to move or for them to be caught.” The chief stated and Frank sighed, putting his hand on his forehead, head dropping in frustration.

“How long till they can catch him?” Jamie asked, seeing his father wasn’t going to ask.

“They’re closing in on him.” The chief answered before nodding and leaving them to talk to the principal.

"But will it be quick enough?" Frank muttered.

"Dad, come on, don't think like that. You always say think positive of situations like this, so think positive." Danny pleaded, not wanting those thoughts in his head.

"I also taught you to think rationally." Frank stated, looking at his oldest, "There is a man with a gun close to her, Danny, who probably knows by now police are looking for him. He is not going to go down without trying to have leverage."

"And y/n has been trained for this situation. Unfortunate yes but she knows what to do and what to look out for. She won't let that man anywhere near those kids, meaning she won't open the door that she is behind unless she has been told the information to show it's safe." Danny stated and Frank looked up at him.

"God, I hope you're right." Frank stated before a shot was heard and Danny and Jamie's Radio came alive once more.

Their attention was brought to the school building, waiting the door to open. All they wanted was to see their daughter and sister again. Cries were heard throughout the area as the school door opened for the last time and armed forces started to come out, leading students who held hands out to safety. Frank watched the line of students head towards their families before turning his attention to the school, waiting to see his daughters face. His shoulders slumped in relief when he seen her exit last, eyes darting to ensure all her students were out safely.

"Y/n." Jamie called, drawing her attention to the Reagan men.

Y/n turned her head towards the familiar voice and tears built in her eyes when she seen her brothers and dad standing at the commissioners car. Smiling weakly she rushed towards them, allowing Danny to pull her into him. Feeling her oldest brother kiss her forehead, she reached out for Jamie's hand and gave it a squeeze. Realizing one person was missing, y/n turned to look over Danny's shoulder to see her father watching the siblings interaction with a teary smile. Y/n sighed in relief as Danny let her go before rushing into the comfort of her fathers arms, allowing the tears to fall. Danny and Jamie watched with sadness as their dad comforted their sister.

-------------------------------------------------------------

"Shh, it's okay, your okay." Frank soothed her, rubbing her hair in comfort.

"I was so scared. All we heard was gun firing and then he came to the gym and knocked on the door trying to get me to open it. I thought he would get in and get the kids." Y/n sobbed, unable to control her emotions.

"It's okay, your safe now, your with us. And I won't let anyone hurt you." Frank stated, pushing y/n back gently to cup her face and look her in the eye.

"I love you dad." Y/n stated, smiling and wiping her eyes to get rid of the tears.

"I love you too." Frank smiled back, kissing her forehead, " Now what do you say we head home and have some of grandpa's famous chicken, no doubt the family was there watching the news."

"Yeah I'm starving." Jamie stated, all the worry making him hungry.

"Your always hungry." Danny remarked causing y/n and Frank to chuckle slightly at their behaviour.

"We'll meet you two back home, one of you bring y/n's car back, she's coming with me." Frank stated, causing y/n to look up at him with a smile as he placed an arm around her shoulders. "Come on sweetheart, let's get you home."

Back at Henry and Franks the rest of the family were eagerly waiting for the boys to return with y/n. Henry and Linda had made Henrys famous chicken pop pie, y/n’s favourite to help calm her after a chaotic day. Upon hearing the news from co-workers, the new shooting being hot topic at the office, Erin had rushed to her gramps to be with him and family. Nikki, Sean and Jack were brought to the Reagan household after Erin collected them and had been told to stay out of the living room where the news was kept on so the adults could keep up what was going on, although, Nikki being Nikki had snuck into the living room and seen the news, knowing where her aunt worked prayed that it would work out. In fact, she was the one to call out when students were seen being escorted out, and they all had waited to hear that the shooter had been caught or to see y/n following her students to safety. Relief had filled the household when y/n was seen, and they knew that Danny, Jamie and Frank would be able to comfort her

The door opened and Frank stepped through the door, y/n tucked under his arm as he called out they were home. Danny and Jamie were close behind the father daughter duo as they followed the noise to the living room. Having heard the front door open the family had watched for the cop, commissioner and detective to come through with the teacher and they stood up when y/n was seen with Frank

“Y/n.” Erin stated and moved towards her only sister.

Y/n allowed Erin to wrap her arms around her as Linda and Henry walked over to Frank and the boys, offering them comfort. The youngest daughter of Frank allowed herself to be passed from the hands of her sister to her sister in law, who rubbed her back in comfort. Looking over Linda's shoulder, she seen Henry watching them with a sad smile and she reached out to him. Seeing his granddaughter outreached hand, Henry took her hand in his and gently pulled her into his arms as Linda moved away, and that’s when tears fell from y/ns eyes once again and Henry shushed her as she sobbed into her grandfathers shoulder. Danny wrapped an arm around Lindas shoulder and hers around his waist as they watched the scene in front of them. Erin hugged her father in comfort, and Jamie placed an arm around Nikki as she watched with teary eyes.

After letting out her emotions, y/n pulled away from her grandfather and wiped her eyes, sniffing slightly as she calmed herself before she nearly tripped. She didn't have time to turn around and check the cause when two sets of arms wrapped around her. Turning around fully, y/n seen the heads of her two nephews, and waved off Linda as the mother went to warn her sons to be careful with their aunt before wrapping her arms around them.

Y/n followed her family to the dinner table and smiled as Linda and Erin brought out the food, laying it out like family dinners on Sundays. Once the women sat down everyone bowed their heads as Henry began to say grace.

“Aunt y/n.” The two boys cried, and y/n rubbed their backs in comfort.

“Hey boys.” She smiled, kissing both their heads before indicating for Nikki to join their hug.

“I’m glad your okay aunt y/n.” Nikki smiled, giving y/n a side hug as y/n kissed her cheek.

“Thanks Nikki.” Y/n smiled at her only niece, looking at the rest of her family as they watched the aunt comforting her niece and nephews.

“How about dinner, I made chicken pop pie.” Henry stated to his family and Jack and Sean cheered as they separated from their aunt.

Frank grabbed his daughters hand and gave it a squeeze and she looked at him and smiled. She can be kept from cases they worked, y/n was fine with that, but she just wished the inevitable would be no school shootings.

“We also want to thank God for watching over our y/n and the local high school as they encountered another school shooting today. We pray that each effected will find healing and strength to continue on from this traumatic effect Amen.” Henry called out.

“Amen.” The family repeated before opening their eyes.

I Just Want My Dad- Pt 3

Bloom stood in Sebastians shop, talking to Sky on the phone while Sebastian and Saul sat in the back room. She was trying to get Sky to talk to Saul but was beginning to realize that there was no point in trying.

"Can you tell y/n at least, that her father's okay? I'm sure she's heard about what happened, might be good to hear it from you." Bloom asked, knowing how close y/n and him were.

"Y/n and I aren't talking at the moment, we uh, had a bit of a falling out." Sky stated, causing Bloom to sigh.

"No way of her talking to you?" Bloom asked before hearing Sky sigh.

"Call her, get him talking to her. I'm sure that would lift her spirits with all that's going on." Sky stated, wanting to get y/n smiling again.

"Okay, I'll try getting in contact with her." Bloom nodded, knowing that was all he would say.

"Look I've got to go, Andreas is back and despite how things are, I won't ruin this for y/n." Sky stated before hanging up the phone.

Bloom sighed and put her phone into her back pocket before moving into the back room where Saul and Sebastian was waiting. The two looked up at her expectantly as she walked in.

"Sorry Saul, umm.." Bloom started, not knowing what to say.

"Sky will come round." Silva stated with a slight smile, Sebastian nodding in agreement.

"Did you hear anything about Dowling while you were in the capital, I've tried everything but the solarians have given up." Bloom stated, frustrated in herself.

"Sorry Bloom I don't know where Dowling went." Silva apologized, shaking his head, "But Sebastian here has a knack of finding things, I'm sure he'll be able to find her somehow." He assured her as Sebastian nodded.

"I'm like a terrier." Sebastian agreed, laughing slightly.

"So what am I supposed to do, go back to school like everything's normal?" Bloom asked, not sure of what to say.

"No, because everything is not normal. And you need to remember that because Rosalind will try to wear you down and you will forget what normal used to feel like." Silva explained, before turning to Sebastian, "Meanwhile Luna has given Rosalind access to the royal archives."

"Shit." Sebastian cursed while Bloom stood in confusion.

"What's the royal archives?"

"The good stuff." Sebastian stated and Silva hummed in agreement.

"She's planning something big." Silva agreed, looking down slightly.

Bloom sighed and looked down, thinking it was her fault, that if she hadn't of been so selfish than Rosalind wouldn't have control and everyone would be safe. Silva looked at her and twitched slightly before asking the question that had been on his mind since he got free.

"How's y/n been handling all of this?" He asked, wanting to finally know answers.

"Not great, she's been broken since you left. Everyone thinks that something happened to her because she's just, drained from her usual self." Bloom admitted, knowing it was better to tell the truth than to lie to the concerned father.

"What do you mean?" Silva asked in confusion, worried for his daughters safety.

"Musa and Terra walked in on Rosalind and Andreas in y/n's room, Rosalind said something about her loosing control and used the cuff's that prevent magic against her. She told them she had heard about you going to Polaris and just lost it, kept saying how she just wanted her dad." Bloom spoke honestly, watching Silva's reaction.

"God, I wish I could just see her." Silva stated, putting his hand on his head, looking down.

Sebastian smiled awkwardly and placed a hand on his friends shoulder, trying to comfort him.

"Andreas is always calling for her, probably training her. But Sky suggested that I see if can get her alone, maybe you can call her. Might put her at ease, put you both at ease." Bloom suggested, not used to seeing Silva so disheartened.

"Yeah, yeah that would be great. I just need to hear her so I know she's alright." Silva stated, looking at her with hope.

"Your girl is strong. She'll be okay." Sebastian stated, smiling at Silva.

"I just want my daughter back." Silva stated, before leaving to get cleaned up.

------------------------------------------------------------

Y/n was making her way towards the specialist area when a student specialist came towards her, telling her Andreas wanted to see her. Sighing, she made her way down the dark hall way to see Sky leaning against the wall on his phone. They made eye contact but y/n just turned away, leaning against the wall a few feet away from him, not wanting to talk to him. She looked up as they heard vehicles pulling in, and her breath caught in her throat when she seen Andreas step out of the driving area and head towards her. Looking to the side, y/n seen Sky watching before folding her arms, turning her attention straight ahead as Andreas stopped in front of her. She rubbed her wrists in discomfort as the cuffs dug into her skin.

"I was told you wanted to see me." Y/n spoke, looking down.

"Saul escaped. No clue how but I'm sure he had help." Andreas stated, looking at her with folded arm.

"Well I didn't do it, I don't have any magic remember." Y/n stated sarcastically before flinching as Andreas raised a finger in warning.

"He's been shot twice in the back yet still managed to get away. Haven't found a body yet though." Andreas stated, watching y/n relax after becoming rigid hearing what happened.

"Well that's good, isn't it?" Y/n stated with a smile, glad his dad was possibly aright.

"Not when we find him it won't." Andreas stated before turning to face Sky. "Sky, come train with y/n." He called out to his son, causing y/n's eyes to widen, looking at Sky.

"What?" Y/n asked, looking at Andreas with wide eyes.

"Well you don't have you magic, might as well continue learning to defend yourself." Andrea's stated before walking off as Sky joined y/n's side.

"It'll be okay." Sky stated in comfort, putting an arm around y/n's shoulder before guiding her to the training area, hating that y/n had to go through this.

------------------------------

Y/n groaned in pain, holding her shoulder as she entered the suite where Musa, Stella ad Terra were talking in a corner. The trio glanced at her and watched as she winched in pain. Seeing the discomfort of the young fairy, Stella tried to move over to her, going for the shoulder only for y/n to grab her wrist.

"Leave it." Y/n stated, flinching away from Stellas grasp.

"Your hurt." Stella stated.

"It's fine, nothing I'm not used to at this stage." Y/n stated, causing the girls to give her a look of sympathy.

"What's there obsession with you?" Musa asked, confused on why the heads of school always pestered y/n.

"I'm Silvas daughter." Y/n shrugged, winching as she spoke her fathers name.

"And my mother thinks that y/n should be a protector of the solarian throne." Stella spoke, watching as y/n moved towards the couch to lie down.

"Has anyone seen my phone?" y/n asked, trying to change the subject.

The three girls shook their heads and y/n sighed before grimacing as she rubs her shoulder. Standing up from the couch, she cleared her throat before moving towards her room. She thought about what Andreas had said about her dad. Their encounter had made her become worried for her father, and she worried about whether or not he was alive. Blinking rapidly, y/n sat lay on her bed and stared at the ceiling, trying to keep calm as she heard a knock on the door.

"Go away." y/n called, wanting to be alone.

"Hey." Bloom peeped her head through the door to see y/n laying on her bed.

"If your gonna start asking me questions now's not the time." Y/n stated, thinking she was here to ask about something Musa said.

"Questions about what?" The fire fairy asked, genuinely confused.

"Doesn't matter, what do you need?"

"Oh nothing, just had something I thought you might like."

"What do you mean?"

Bloom stepped into the room and held up her hand from her side, allowing y/n to see what she was holding, y/n's phone. Y/n looked at it in confusion before glancing at Bloom warily.

"Where was it?" Y/n asked, unsure of how Bloom got hold of it.

"In the hall outside the door, thought you'd be looking for it."

"Thanks, just leave it on my desk." Y/n stated before hearing the phone ringing.

"I think you should get that." Bloom spoke innocently, holding the phone towards her fellow fairy.

"No one calls me, who is it?" Y/n asked, grabbing the phone from Bloom and answering it without looking at the contact.

"Hello?" Y/n asked in confusion, moving back to he bed as Bloom watched on.

"Y/n?" A voice she recognized came over the speaker.

"Dad?" Y/n asked, unsure of if she heard right or not.

"Hey sweetheart." Silva said with relief as he heard his daughters voice.

"Daddy." Y/n said again, tears coming to her eyes.

"Yeah sweetie, it's me." Silva smiled to himself as he savored the little conversation they would have.

"I thought you were dead, Andreas said...."

"Andreas thought I would be with all the arrows in my back, luckily your fellow fairy friends got to me." Silva explained.

Y/n turned to Bloom and looked at her wit ha smile, mouthing a thank you to her before red haired fairy left.

"Where are you? Are you coming back to Alfea? I need to see you, please come back, it's been hell without you." Y/n stated, determined to see her father again.

"I know, sweetie, it's been hell without being able to see you too. But I can't return just yet, I can't risk being seen." Silva spoke with sorrow, wanting to hold his daughter close to him.

"Maybe I can go to you, I'm sure I can sneak out, I can...."

"Y/n no, its too risky. I wish you could but Bloom told me about Andreas training you, he'll find out if you left and make it worse on you. Please, don't do anything stupid." Silva pleaded with his daughter, wanting nothing more than to be with her but knowing the consequences.

"Dad, please."

"Y/n please." Silva repeated what she pleaded, hoping to get a laugh out of her, and he smiled hearing a slight laugh.

"Are you okay? You were locked up for a long time and I don't imagine it's a pretty place to be." Y/n asked, concerned about her fathers welfare.

"I'm fine, nothing I can't handle, I've lived through worse." Silva shrugged off, not worried about himself, "What about you, how are you keeping, I can't imagine how hard this has been for you."

"I'm tired of it dad. Andreas keeps training me as a specialist but I don't want that. I haven't got the strength for it. Every time we train he gets Sky to fight me and I'm to one who ends up on the ground. I don't want to train as a specialist dad, I'm a fairy." Y/n explained as she heard her dad sigh on the other end of the phone.

"I know sweetie, and I'm sorry that he's doing that to you. How many injuries have you had?"

"I don't think you want to know." Y/n shook her head, not wanting to tell her father any of her injuries.

"But I do." Silva stated, trying to encourage her to open up.

"Few scrapes, bruises, nothing major." Y/n shrugged, half lying.

"That it?" Silva asked, reading through the lines.

"Uhuh." Y/h responded half out of it.

"Y/n, what you thinking?" Silva asked, realizing his daughter was only half listening.

"Just, thinking of when I'll see you again." Y/n stated, tears coming to her eyes.

"It won't be long, I'm sure of it. For now just sit tight and be the brave girl I know you can be." Silva encouraged his daughter, smiling slightly.

Y/n smiled slightly before looking up at the knock of a door, her frown disappearing as she recognized the knock.

"I gotta go. Andreas is here." Y/n spoke quickly into the phone, and Silva went stiff at the name.

"Be careful y/n, I love you so much and I am proud of you." Silva spoke, not wanting y/n to go but knowing the longer the spoke the more dangerous it would be of his location being found.

"I love you too dad. I'll see you soon." Y/n stated before hanging up and throwing the phone on the bed before answering the door to see Andreas standing there.

"Y/n, ready to train." Was all he asked and y/n gulped.

"I've already done training today." She stated.

"Not with me, Rosalind." The older man spoke and y/n shivered, flinching as pain shoot up her back.

Knowing there was no use in fighting, y/n nodded and willingly followed Andreas. The man narrowed his eyes at how willing y/n was but just shook his head, leading y/n towards the headmistresses office. Y/n sighed as she glanced at Beatrix who sat at the assistants desk. The element fairy smirked at y/n causing y/n to turn her vision straight ahead where Rosalind opened the door after Andreas knocked.

"I think it's time to start your magic control. Get you ready to protect the solarian throne." Rosalind spoke as she closed the door behind y/n, leaving it just her and the student.

"I told you I don't want to become a solarian guard." y/n stated before winching as she felt the diamond on her back.

"You will learn to do as you are told." Rosalind snapped, causing y/n to flinch more at he pain.

Sighing in defeat y/n nodded and Rosalind smiled in success and nodded before moving to her desk where she grabbed a book. Y/n looked at her as she placed the book in front of the student before looking down at the book. Reading the title, y/n looked back up at Rosalind in confusion.

"This is the book of sacred magic." Y/n stated.

"You need to know this book if your going to become a soldier." Rosalind stated.

"But..."

"Enough buts, get on with it or face consequences." Rosalind stated, holding her hand up, causing y/n to choke.

"Please, stop." Y/n gasped for air as she looked at Rosalind.

Eventually Rosalind stopped when y/n was near passing out. Y/n coughed out as she gained her breath back, and Rosalind moved closer to y/n, leaning down so she was close to her ear.

"Your fathers not here to protect you now y/n, remember that."

Y/n just sat there, staring ahead as she listened. 'I just ant to see my dad again' y/n thought as Rosalind moved away from her.

Stocking Filler

Info: Living on the road means no Christmas tree, but Dean makes sure his little sister has some of the Christmas magic.

Relationship: Winchester brothers x sister

Stocking Filler

Living on the road with an 8 year old was hard, but during the Christmas period it was harder for the brothers to keep their little sister lively. Seeing all the Christmas trees at each motel they went to, y/n always frowned when she seen the boxes that were underneath the tree. When they went to victims houses and see the piles of presents underneath the tree for the kids, Dean felt disheartened, knowing his sister couldn’t have that. But he wanted her to have some form of a normal childhood, so tried to do something special for her each year.

Y/n always stood admiring the Christmas lights that dotted the shops ceilings during Christmas time. She loved to press the buttons of each teddy bear or decoration she seen, much to the annoyance of her brothers. For an 8 year old she was very understanding when it came to their lives being very different to that of a normal family, but December she was always disappointed, knowing she couldn’t have the Christmas joy regular kids her age had.

“Sam, what is Christmas?” Y/n asked, looking up at her older brother innocently. Sam’s heart broke a little, knowing she wouldn’t get to experience the magic. “Well, Christmas is different for everyone. But for most of the world it’s a time for family and presents.” Sam spoke as he crouched down to his sister. “Why do they have a tree indoors?” Y/n asked, confused. “Well they place presents under the tree and then open them on Christmas day.” “Why don’t we have that?” “A tree in baby, no way.” Dean remarked, shaking his head rapidly at the thought. “No silly, presents.” Y/n giggled, and Dean and Sam looked at each other with sadness. “Our gift is each other, that we survived another year of hunting.” Dean smiled, crouching down beside Sam. “I like our present.” Y/n smiled widely, throwing her arms around her brothers necks. “Me too.” Sam sighed, patting his sisters back slightly.

Y/n pulled apart from the two older Winchesters before running down the aisle to where a large bear was dressed up as Santa and dancing. Sam watched her as she began wiggling with it with a laugh before looking to Dean who was moving away from him.

“Where are you going?” Sam asked his brother, frowning at him. “Getting her a selection box.” Dean stated, moving towards the chocolate section. “Your gonna make her hyper.” Sam called out. “No, I’m gonna give her Christmas memories.” “With a box of chocolates?” “Every kid loves them Sam.” Dean remarked, throwing his arms out before flipping him off.

True to Deans word, he got y/n a selection box, and she was over the moon to see the box cut out like a stocking . And true to Sams word, she became hyper on the chocolate, refusing to leave even one bar left. She winded up causing herself a sugar crash with all the giddiness she had, and Sam glared at Dean who avoided his sight.

“Told you she’d get hyper.” Sam snapped at his older brother. “Oh one day of her being hyper, the tragedy.” Dean spoke, acting scared, “let her live like a normal child for once Sammy, she doesn’t get that often.” “There are other things that could give her a normal childhood for a while.” Sam shot back. “Like the playground or something.” “It’s Christmas Sammy, you see her watching the presents under the trees and lights hung around. She doesn’t get that normal Christmas that every other child does, let her have this”  Dean spoke harshly, glancing in the rearview mirror to watch as y/n moved around in her seat to an uncomfortable position. “Who’s fault is that?” Sam snapped. “Don’t go there Sammy.” Dean shouted, only for Sam to look back when they heard whining, “Look I know you don’t agree with the way dad has her life, but we can make it a little better by giving her some aspects of a normal childhood alright.” Dean spoke softly, not wanting to wake their sister. “Right.” Sam sighed, leaning his head against the window.

---------

Case after case the Winchester’s rolled through each town, barely stopping for more than a few days, and soon it was Christmas eve. Dean had parked the impala at the top of the hill, and before Sam could remark about his choices the oldest brother leaned back to shake y/n who was covered in Sam’s jacket as she slept.

“What?” Y/n asked tiredly, not opening her eyes. “Come on, I want to show you something.” Dean spoke, moving to get out of the car. “What?” Y/n asked again, this time opening her eyes. “Yea what?” Sam asked, also moving to get out of the car. “I heard town folks talking about their annual firework display Christmas eve.” Dean explained to his brother before opening the back door and lifting y/n out of the car. “This is your way of giving her some form of Christmas.” Sam asked, confused as he grabbed his jacket. “Think positive Sammy.” Dean remarked, placing y/n on the hood of Baby before jumping on himself, Sam wrapping y/n in his coat once again.

The sibling trio remained silent as they overlooked the town below. Y/n leaned against Dean tiredly, and he wrapped an arm around her to keep her from falling. Seeing the crowds of people begin to gather down below, Dean nudged y/n to wake her up once again.

“Watch this y/n.” Dean spoke, leaning down to tuck some of the girls hair behind her ear. “Huh?” Y/n mumbled, confused on what was going on. Look.” Dean pointed to the sky as the display began.

Hearing the first bang, y/n quickly woke up and looked ahead with wide eyes. Sammy couldn’t help the smile that appeared on his face, grabbing one of y/n’s little hands to squeeze them reassuringly. Dean jumped down from the impala to lean against it, keeping his arm around y/n’s waist. He looked at the young girl to see her watching amazement, and he smirked at himself. Y/n quickly grew accustomed to the bangs, and began to giggle as the colourful sparks lit up the sky. Sam shared a look with Dean, nodding in confirmation.

“They’re pretty.” Y/n remarked, reaching a hand out in front of her. “Yea they are.” Dean smiled, looking at his sister who’s eyes never left the sky. “Can we watch them again?” Y/n asked as the display finished, a light trace of smoke filling the air. “Maybe another time. It’s getting late.” Sam spoke, and y/n awed in disappointment. “Hey now, no sad face for tonight of all nights.” Dean spoke, placing a finger under y/n’s chin to lift it up. “We’ll see them again soon.” Sam pointed out, and y/n smiled at that. “Why don’t you go to sleep, we’ll be at our next spot soon.” Dean leaned down to kiss y/n’s head before picking her up. “Will you stay with me?” She asked, snuggling into Dean’s chest. “No way is Sam driving.” Dean spoke quickly, causing y/n to lean away from him. “I’ll stay with you y/n, don’t mind him.” Sam spoke, sliding into the back where y/n happily crawled in to snuggle with her brother. “Yea your gonna be so stiff.” Dean remarked, sniggering at the thought of Sam’s long legs going numb from the back. “I don’t care if it gets her to sleep.” Sam remarked back, rubbing y/n’s arm gently as she closed her eyes. “Don’t complain to me when your legs go numb.” Dean spoke before starting the engine. “You know for someone who went out of his way to give y/n some form of Christmas, your very sour when it comes to getting her to sleep in the car.”  Sam remarked. “I can’t hear you over the music.” Dean spoke, even though they both knew he could since it wasn’t that loud.

---

 Christmas morning, Dean and Sam sat at the table while y/n slept in. They were researching for their new case in town, and with libraries close for the holidays they only had their old laptops to work on. Dean looked over Sam’s shoulder when they heard movement, and soon a little face popped up from the pillows.

“Rise and shine sleepyhead.” Dean remarked, and y/n only groaned, turning away from them.

Sam didn’t turn around, waiting for the little one to come up to them. When he heard movement, he braced himself for impact, only to hear a gasp instead causing him to whip his head around in confusion, missing the smirk on Dean’s face.

“What’s up y/n?” Sam asked. “A socks one the floor.” Y/n replied, jumping off the bed. “That is where you threw them last night?” Sam spoke, confused. “Not my sock, a big sock, bigger than yours.” Y/n remarked, lifting up the sock with excitement. “What?” Sam asked, whipping his head to look at Dean who sat there with a smirk. “What you get y/n?” Dean called out, and y/n came running to them. “There’s something in it.” Y/n spoke excitedly, throwing the sock onto the table as she climbed onto Dean’s lap. “Damn right there is, it is Christmas after all.” Dean commented, and Sam chuckled in disbelief. “What you get y/n?” Sam asked, closing the laptops and moving them away to make room.

The brothers watched as y/n excitedly tipped over the sock, allowing the contents to fall out of it. Small toys, a bouncy ball and some coins landed on the table, and Dean moved y/n’s hair out of her face as she looked through the contents excitedly. Sam looked over y/n’s head at Dean, who just shrugged at him. Seeing a Christmas card at the bottom, Sam reached out to get it, before reading it and laughing.

“What?” Y/n asked innocently, reaching for the card. “I think this is for me and Dean y/n.” Sam spoke, moving his hand away from y/n. “It was in my stocking.” Y/n spoke sassily. “It isn’t exactly for your age.” Sam remarked, looking at Dean with a raised eye brow. “It was in the girls stocking Sam.” Dean spoke, smiling as he knew what was in it. “Merry Christmas you filthy animal. Out of all the cards you choose that.” Sam remarked, and Dean just smiled. “Well she is an animal.” Dean joked, tickling y/n’s sides causing her to squirm. “Merry Christmas y/n.” Sam spoke, deciding to ignore Dean’s antics. “IS this Christmas?” y/n asked, squinting her eyes. “This is our Christmas.” Dean spoke, leaning down to lean his head on y/n’s shoulder. “Merry Christmas Dean.” Y/n moved to wrap her arms around her oldest brother, “Merry Christmas Sammy.” She jumped over to Sam, who caught her before she fell. “Merry Christmas y/n.” Dean smiled, bouncing her new ball on the table.

Sparkling Lights

Info: Young y/n Bridgerton loves everything to with Christmas, especially the lights that line the streets in December

Relationship: Bridgerton family x sister reader

Sparkling Lights

Anthony Bridgerton watched with a roll of his eyes as his 5 year old sister bounced around the place, excitement evident through her. Today was the first week in December, and the town were going to turn on their lights to officially kick off the Christmas season. Each year they made a big event of it, with the Queen hosting a ball for the newly wedded couples of the year , one which even the children could join. The eldest Bridgerton knew how much his sister loved Christmas, but ever since she could talk it seemed her excitement had grown.

“Y/n, please calm down, you will cause yourself injury.” Anthony scolded the child before looking to the door as his wife walked in. “Oh let her be, she is excited for what’s to come.” Kate smiled, wrapping her arms around her husband from behind. “Yes brother, you do know why y/n is like this.” Benedict remarked from the bay window, paint brush in hand. “I do, but I would much rather not have y/n miss the one ball she can attend to.” Anthony raised his voice at the last bit, looking at y/n as she quietened down. “How much longer?” The little girl whined to her brothers, running over to pull out of Anthony’s arm. “Perhaps you should go find mama, getting ready may speed things up for you.” Anthony teased his youngest sister, poking her nose causing y/n to giggle. “I’m gonna wear a red dress.” Y/n remarked, running out of the room. “Oh how lovely, she shall be easy to find should she go missing.” Colin smiled from his spot by the fire. “Colin.” Penelope hushed her husband, not wanting y/n to act up on that statement.

---

“Easy y/n, please.” Voilet’s Voice was heard from up the stairs. “Yes mama.” Y/n’s little voice was heard.

Benedict stifled his laugh from the top of the stairs behind his mother as he watched y/n all but run down the stairs in her little red dress. Her mother had been against the vibrant red, but y/n had managed to convince the retired Viscountess to allow her to get it. Anthony and Kate waited down the stairs, looking up at the young girl that rushed down the stairs, eager to get going. Wanting to prevent any injury, Anthony moved to the last step and picked y/n up, causing her to giggle.

“Well, look at you.” Anthony smiled, holding y/n on his hip before poking her chest lightly. “I wearing red.” Y/n pointed proudly to herself. “I see that.” Anthony smiled, looking at y/n’s colourful dress choice. “You look lovely y/n.” Kate commented her new sister, tucking a piece of hair behind the little ones ear. “Must we all attend tonight.” Eloise asked, coming down the stairs with her mother in toll, tugging at the fabric of her dress. “Yes, we are going as a family. I will hear no complaints.” Voilet tapped her daughters shoulder, giving her the eye to stop fidgeting. “I agree, what a wonderful thing for us all to attend.” Colin stated, coming down with Hyacinth & Gregory beside him. “Are we all ready?” Violet asked her children, sharing a look with Kate. “Let’s go, let’s go.” Y/n wiggled in her brothers grip, trying to get out. “Don’t wander y/n, and put on your coat.” Anthony called out to his sister. “Should you think she heard you?” Eloise asked her brother, watching her baby sister run off. “I don’t believe so.” Benedict shook his head, causing Anthony to glare at him before taking the youngest’s jacket from the door man.

---

The town was packed with families from all over London, and Violet struggled to hold y/n’s hand as she tried to drag her mother towards the front. Seeing his mother’s struggle, Benedict took y/n’s hand before picking her up, ignoring as little hands tried to push him away.

“For a better view.” Benedict remarked, and y/n stopped at that.

Anthony and Kate walked hand in hand, smiling at each other as they walked the streets. Behind them was Penelope and Colin, who were laughing at something Penelope had observed. Hyacinth and Gregory walked obediently in front of the adults, and Eloise tagged along behind them, folding her arms as if all she wanted was to get away from here. The night was chilly, but the crowds made it tolerable. Feeling her brother come to a stop, y/n grew excited and looked around, giddy for what was to come. Violet placed her arms around Hyacinth and Gregory as they all waited for the lights to turn on.

Y/n bounced in her brothers arms as the crowd started to count down. She wasn’t very good with numbers, but she knew when the crowd started chanting, the lights would soon turn on. Benedict kissed his sisters cheek as she leaned closer to him, thinking it would help her to see. She clapped happily when the lights turned on, causing her brother to laugh.

“You happy y/n?” Benedict teased her, adjusting her to have a comfortable hold on her. “They’re so sparkly.” Y/n spoke in amazement, looking above at the strands of light. “There just lights y/n, nothing special.” Gregory remarked, and Violet squeezed him tighter. “Don’t upset your sister Gregory.” Violet stated, not wanting to catch a scene. “She’s so amazed.” Penelope stated, smiling slightly at the youngest. “Ever since our y/n has been a babe she has loved the lights.” Colin explained to his wife. “She was only in mothers arms when she would stare up at them with a wide smile.” Benedict admitted, tucking some hair behind y/n’s eyes. “We used to have a small set of Christmas lights on her roof so she would sleep because she didn’t understand where they went.” Anthony explained, an arm around his wife’s waist. “We don’t know why, she just took to them.” Benedict shrugged, watching his sister with a smile. “I wanna touch them.” Y/n stated, and Anthony jumped forward to grab her hand. “No no, hot y/n.” Anthony spoke harshly, trapping her arm in his hand. “Aww.” Y/n pouted, not understanding. “When does the party start?” Hyacinth asked, wanting to go to the ball. “Ball Hyacinth, not party.” Violet corrected her, “We’ll make our way now.” “Can I stay here?” Y/n asked, glaring at Anthony as she pulled away from him. “Sorry y/n, you’ll see them on the way home.” Anthony smiled at his sister, who frowned in disappointment.

--------------------------------------

For the duration of the night, y/n never moved from the window, staring out at the light. She smiled at the sparkling of them at the window, and Benedict chuckled at his youngest sisters antics.

“She really loves those lights.” Benedict admired. “I do wish she would stay away from the window.” Violet sighed, eyeing her youngest. “She’s only five, leave her be.” Lady Danbury commented with a slight smile.

“Hey y/n, you gonna move away from the window any time soon?” Colin asked, smirking at his sister. “They’re so pretty.” y/n murmured, dancing her finger along the window. “They’ll still be there tomorrow night. Come dance with us.” Colin smiled, offering his hand. “Can we dance near the window?” Y/n asked, fluttering her eyelashes. “Well I..” “We can dance wherever you like.” Benedict interrupted her brother. “Hey, don’t steal my dance partner.” Colin joked, hitting Benedict on the chest. “You have Penelope, I have no one.” Benedict announced dramatically, taking y/n’s hand before twirling her. “Make sure we can see the lights.” Y/n stated. “We can see the lights, don’t worry.” Benedict smiled, taking her into his arms to make sure she could see them.

Scared And Alone (3/12)

Y/n groaned as she woke up with sore eyes from crying herself to sleep. Picking up her phone she looked at herself to see her eyes red and swollen. Thoughts of what happened last night came back and she blinked back the tears as a knock came from the door.

"Yeah?" She called out after clearing her throat. She looked up as she seen the red haired girl Sky had talked to first day appear at the door. "Hi, um, I just decided to umm, introduce myself. I'm uhh, I'm Bloom. First year. One of your dorm mates." Bloom started causing y/n to chuckle a small bit. "I'm y/n, second year. Your mentor along with Stella." Y/n introduced herself as she got out clothes for the day. "Oh, umm, hi." "Hi." Y/n smiled weakly, turning to look at the red head as she got her clothes and put them on her bed. "Umm, I didn't see you at the Induction party." Bloom started only for Y/n to interrupt her. "Yeah, umm, I wasn't feeling up for it." Y/n shrugged, looking down. "Oh, umm, are you okay? Just your eyes are red and swollen." Bloom pointed causing Y/n to silently curse herself. "just missing home." Y/n stated bluntly with a fake smile. "Oh, okay, yeah I get it." Bloom nodded, "Hey umm, the other girls are up if you want to meet them." Bloom stated pointing behind her. "Uhh, yeah sure." Y/n faked a smile as she followed y/n into the kitchen sector of the dorm.

"Hey guys, this is y/n. She's our mentor as well as Stella." Bloom stated, introducing the older girl. "Well I sure hope she's better then Stella." Musa stated, looking at the second year fairy as she put her headphones down before looking at y/n with confusion. "Hi y/n, I'm Aisha, this is Musa, and Terra." "Hi, if you need anything my room is there." Y/n smiled softly, pointing to her room. "Would you like a succulent?" Terra asked. "Uhh sure." She nodded, accepting the plant from Terra. "It doesn't need much to survive." "Thanks. Uh, I'm gonna get ready for the day." Y/n smiled, indicating to her room. "Sure, we'll leave you to it." Aisha nodded before the older fairy left to her room

Once her door was closed, Y/n sighed and closed her eyes as she took deep breaths, trying to calm herself for the day ahead. Opening them she looked down at the plant in her hand and smiled weakly before placing it on her desk so she could get ready for the day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As y/n went to go into the kitchen she seen Musa standing at the counter making coffee. The empath turned to see her mentor and smiled at her.
"Sorry, I'll move." The younger girl apologized. "No it's okay don't worry." Y/n smiled, taking a cup and making some coffee for herself. "Are you okay?" "Sorry?" Y/n asked in confusion, not looking up from her cup. "I'm an empath, I feel everything your feeling. And I can feel your sadness." Musa stated causing y/n to curse silently before looking at the young girl. "Yeah, just missing home you know." she half lied with a weak smile. "Oh." Was all Musa said, unsure of what to say next.
Y/n smiled and held up her cup of coffee in a cheers motion before heading back to her room, making a mental note to learn how to block others from feeling her feelings or hearing her thoughts. The last thing she wanted was to have to tell practical strangers yet also room mates that her parents died when she still hadn't told her friends.
Finishing getting ready she sighed and looked in the mirror one last time before getting her bag and heading out to see the girls talking to Stella. She didn't really pay attention but looked up when her name was called to see Stella going towards her with a scowl on her face.
"Y/n, I heard you in Sky's room last night." She stated, crossing her arms. "Firstly it's also Rivens room. And second, you were there last I checked. Stayed the night as well by the look of it." Y/n stated, crossing her arms at the end. "Well we all know who he prefers." She stated with a smirk on her face. "Excuse me." Y/n asked, leaning towards Stella with a glare. "Well, from what I heard he forgot about you and chose me over you. And as for Riven well, he also didn't remember you. You saw how confused they were when you turned up." She stated curtly. "Shut up Stella, I'm not in the mood." Y/n stated, trying to avoid her. "Yeah, I know all about you missing home, as if they care. You mean nothing to Sky or Riven, they just keep you around because they were too kind last year to tell you to leave them alone." Stella stated, moving her face inches away from y/n's. "You know nothing." Y/n said, her teeth gritted together. "Do I not, then why didn't they come get you from here like they done last year." Stella asked with fake surprise. "Early training session." Y/n shrugged. "Yeah I doubt that. Because I was with Sky and he said that his first class was with us."
Y/n looked Stella in the eyes before grabbing her bag and leaving the dorm. Aisha and Terra watched y/n leave with sad eyes as Bloom tried to stop her and Musa shouted at Stella, all four after seeing what happened.
-------------------------
Y/n ignored everyone and just headed to the room where class was going to be. Sitting at the desk near the back she kept her head down as people started coming in. Looking down she listened as Dowling started explaining what was going to happen in the class today. Eventually the class begun using their magic to cancel out their partners. Being alone Dowling came towards her and went to work with her.
"Keep a clear mind. Concentrate on the task on hand." Dowling reminded her, seeing her struggling to work her magic. "It's not working." Y/n stated, starting to get frustrated. "Take our time, don't rush it." Dowling stated, looking at her student.
Y/n got frustrated trying to work it. She tried again and growled as it didn't work only for ice to start crawling up the table and towards Dowling. Y/n gasped causing other students to turn and watch as y/n tried to stop the icicles that had formed and were going towards Dowling. Unfazed, Dowling calmly looked at the young girl and held her hand up causing the ice to defrost.
Breathing heavily, y/n grabbed her back and rushed out of the room, the rest of the students watching her. Turning back to Dowling, the students got up as she dismissed the class, watching the class go before leaving herself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Y/n gasped as she came to a stop and leaned against a tree to catch her breath. Looking around she seen no one around and allowed her self to let go. Screaming, a burst of energy was released from her causing ice and frost to surround her as she collapsed to the ground in tears. Heaving and sobbing she didn't hear footsteps coming towards her and looked up terrified as someone grabbed her shoulder.

"Y/n, it's headmistress Dowling, are you okay?" Dowling asked, crouched in front of her, as Silva and Harvey came up behind her. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, I'm sorry." Y/n cried, curling into herself to avoid looking at the teachers. "Y/n, y/n listen to me. It's understandable how you are right now. Ur loss and sadness is powering your magic and it's causing you to go out of control with the littlest thing." Dowling tried to explain to the young girl. "I can't do this anymore. I'll hurt someone if it keeps going on." Y/n gasped, struggling to breath. "Let's concentrate on you right now." Dowling said as she realized the young fairy was having a panic attack.

"Y/n, I need you to calm down." Harvey said, crouching in front of the young fairy as Dowling got up. "No, no I can't, I can't I can't." Y/n repeated before a burst of ice went to where Dowling and Silva were standing causing them to move back and look at each other in shock. "Y/n you have to try. Breath with me." Harvey instructed her in a calm voice, ignoring what just happened.

"We might have to sedate her." Silva said, watching as Harvey failed to comfort the girl as another spark of ice came towards them. "No, we can't." Dowling started. "Farah we are past the barrier, they're could be burned ones or frozen ones anywhere. She isn't capable of calming herself, look at her. She's over stressed, she needs help." Silva stated, pointing at the young girl in front of them who was clearly in distress. "Professor Harvey?" Dowling asked, looking at Silva before turning to the teacher who was currently trying to comfort the young girl. "I don't think we have any other option." He nodded before turning to the girl in front of her.

Dowling nodded and Harvey moved slightly to get the sedative from his pouch, ignoring the ice that skimmed him. Y/n shook as she struggled to breath, covering her face with her hands. Hearing movement coming towards her, she flinched before looking up slightly to see Harvey coming towards her with a small needle, Dowling and Silva behind him.

"Please, don't tell Sky and Riven." She cried as she struggled to breath. "Your just going to feel a pinch, don't worry, when you wake up you will feel better." Harvey said after he looked at Silva along with Dowling.

"Why doesn't she want Riven and Sky to know?" Dowling asked as Harvey moved out of the way for Silva to pick her up. "I'm guessing because they don't know about her parents death." Silva stated as she adjusted y/n into a safe hold. "Poor girl, let's get her to the informatory where she can rest easily." Harvey said before leading the way back to the school.

Y/n had clung to squads Captain after he had brought her to safety, and refused to leave Severide while Brett and Dawson tried to look her over. When it was time to take y/ to med for evaluation, Kelly winded up travelling with them at the back of the ambulance, with the young girl falling asleep on his chest on the way. The captain grew soft for the girl sleeping in his arms, and he knew he wouldn’t be able to leave this call behind. His thoughts were proven as his heart pulled at y/n’s screams as he went to leave her. She only let him leave when he gave her his beanie, with the promise of coming back after shift.

Thankfully young y/n had winded up with only small amounts of smoke inhalation, and was left in the hospital overnight before being discharged. Unfortunately, her aunt wasn’t so lucky, and she winded up dying three days later in the hospital. With no one else in the young girls life, y/n, had to be left to the system ,where she would either be adopted or fostered. Kelly had held her when he was told the news, and as he held her as she cried, something in him didn’t want her to be taken to the system, so he asked April to do some blood tests to see if there were any matches on the systems. Convincing the nurse was easy due to her having a soft place for kids, and after a quick run to the lab, they found out that the 5 year old was a match to Matt.

Matt was shocked when he was told he had a little sister, and went to confront his mother who admitted to having another baby after she murdered her husband. She had found out after being sentenced to prison and knew that prison was no place to raise a baby. Matt was hurt that his mother never told him or his sister, so decided to visit the young girl to know her. With him being a practical stranger to the young girl, he brought Kelly with him, who had been visiting the young girl on his own time.

"Kelly." The young girl shouted in delight, running over to the firefighter. "Hey, kid, how are you?" Kelly smiled, squatting down to allow y/n to run into his arms before picking her up, her legs wrapping around her waist as she perched on his front. She giggled before seeing the stranger who was standing beside him, shying into Kelly's shoulder slightly. "Y/n, this is Matt, he works with me." Kelly introduced Matt to the young girl and Matt smiled softly at the girl, "Matt, this is y/n." "Hi there." Matt smiled, waving slightly at the girl. "Y/n, Matt needs to talk to you about something important okay?" Kelly stated, looking down at the girl who kept her head on his shoulder. Y/n nodded and moved as Kelly sat down on her temporary bed before sitting on his lap, and Matt crouched in front of them. "Y/n I know you don't know me but I am your brother. My aunt, the woman who you believed is your mommy, took you in after you were born. I didn't know about you until now. And if it's okay, I would like to take you in and care for you." Matt tried to not overwhelm the 5 year old as she looked at him with confusion. "I have a brother?" Y/n asked innocently, looking at Matt before moving her head up to look at Kelly. "Yeah, and Matt wants you to go home with him. Are you okay with that?" Kelly spoke, nodding his head. "Will I see you again?" She whimpered, tears building in her eyes. "Sure will Kid. Can't get rid of me that easily." Kelly joked, poking her side so she would giggle. "You can see him whenever you like. And you can meet the rest of firehouse if you like." Matt explained, wanting the girl to be comfortable around him.

And with that, y/n moved in with her brother. It was rocky at first, with y/n being so shy around him and avoiding him whenever Kelly was around. Kelly had signed on as her second guardian, but slowly she warmed up to her brother and Casey quickly grew into the parenting roll. With the help of firehouse 51, the lieutenant managed to raise the young girl into the young woman she was today, though Casey and y/n’s relationship neve grew quite as close as Kelly and her, but Casey wasn’t okay with that as he knew Kelly would always watch out for the girl.

Kelly leaned against squads truck, watching for a certain 17 year old to come walking in with her brother. It was a weekend, and with Casey’s 24hr shift, the girl often came to hang out with the firehouse squad so she wasn’t alone all day. It wasn’t uncommon for y/n to wind up falling asleep in Kelly or Caseys office, but ultimately Casey allowed her the freedom to stay at their apartment on her own at night, provided she texted him when she arrived home. Generally the morning before their shift y/n would text Kelly, but having not heard from the Casey girl, Kelly was anxious to see her. Yet his attention was drawn to the truck that pulled up across from the road, only one head in view.

“Where’s y/n Casey?” Kelly called out to the Lieutenant as he walked across the road. “She’s not been home. Stayed with friends last night.” Casey stated, holding the strap of his bag over his shoulder. “You not collect her on the way? I haven’t heard from her all morning.” Kelly asked, crossing his arms over his chest as Casey stopped in front of him. “Geez Kelly, relax. She’ll be here soon. You worry too much.” Casey chuckled lightly as he hit Kelly’s shoulder in a joking way. "Well it isn’t like her to not text.” Kelly defended himself. “I appreciate your concern for her, but trust me, she’s fine. Time gets away from her when she’s with friends.” Casey smiled, placing a hand on Kelly’s shoulder before looking up as the bell went off before the two rushed off.

The call had winded up with a bad outcome. An abandoned house where teens had parties had winded up catching on fire, and there had been multiple casualties, three had been found charred, with 8 winding up in hospital with serious injuries. Intelligence were treating this as a party gone wrong, with evidence of multiple flammable options being found after examining the scene. Each firefighter hung their heads as they arrived back to 51, and Boden called a meeting to check up on everyone.

Kelly and Casey opted to head outside to smoke a cigar after the case. It was midday when they were sitting on top of firehouse 51, and Kelly looked down the street to see a figure slowly walking towards them, arms folded as they hunched over themselves. Y/n was yet to turn up, so Kelly stood up, hoping to see y/n’s face. He hit Caseys chest when she recognized the girl, before moving to get down from the roof, meeting y/n halfway.

“Y/n where the hell were you?” Casey snapped before Kelly had a chance to open his mouth. “With friends.” Y/n muttered, avoiding the two men’s vision. “That was last night. You told me you’d be here by the time shift starts. Yet you rock up after lunch, what’s up with that?” Casey spoke harshly, and Kelly glared at him. Casey please.” The young girl pleaded, moving around them to head into the house. “No y/n, where were you?” Casey pushed, grabbing y/n’s arm harshly. “Hey, Casey, stop.” Kelly interfered when he seen y/n flinch away from her brother. “Get off me.” Y/n pleaded, pulling her arm away from her brother. “No, y/n, tell me where you were.” “I wasn’t at friends last night.” Y/n muttered, causing Kelly and Casey to look at her. “I’m sorry?” Casey questioned with a raised eyebrow. Y/n looked at Kelly slightly, and his eyes softened as he seen her broken sight. “Kelly, leave us be while I talk to my sister.” Casey stated to his fellow firefighter who took a glance between the siblings before leaning to Casey. “Go easy, listen to her before snapping.” Kelly warned Casey before moving to y/n, wrapping an arm over her shoulders and kissing her head before leaving the siblings be. “Kelly.” Y/n whispered. “My office y/n.” Casey spoke harshly, stepping out of the way for y/n to go first.

---------------------

“You gonna tell me where you were?” Casey asked his sister once he closed the door. “I dunno if I can.” Y/n muttered, causing Casey to sigh and rub his forehead. “Y/n I am tired okay. We’ve had a bad case and I am not in the mood for cat and mouse. SO just tell me where you are alright. It’s that easy.” Casey stated harshly, swinging his arm out, causing y/n to flinch. “no.” Y/n whimpered, flinching back at her brothers harsh movements. “Enough of the flinching. Where were you?” Casey snapped, rolling his eyes at his sisters antics. “Stop.” Y/n begged, tears welling up in her eyes. “I was kidnapped.” Y/n muttered, yet Casey heard it. “Don’t lie to me.” Casey snapped. “I’m not.” Y/n cried. “The truth y/n.” “I was kidnapped, I was raped Why won’t you believe me?” Y/n cried out, covering her face with her hands. “Cause if you were kidnapped, you wouldn’t be here.” Casey explained, moving closer to his sister. “Matt please..” Y/n begged, crying harder. “Get out of my sight. Come back when you choose to tell the truth instead of some sick lies.” Casey spoke, opening the door to his office. “I’m telling the truth.” “Do you have any idea how many people go through what your insinuating y/n. I can’t believe you would make that up.” Casey spoke abruptly, causing y/n to look down in tears. Casey please.” Y/n begged, wanting her brother. “Now y/n.” Casey finished, pointing out the door for y/n to leave.

Y/n hung her head as she walked out of the office, ignoring the looks of Cruz and Hermann as they walked by Casey’s office.
