I have an opinion that may not be very popular because I've hardly ever heard anyone say about it...
I study a lot about mythology, I'm a big fan of Percy Jackson... But, there's something about me that I just can't keep quiet.
Let's separate the generations of Greek Mythology... From the Primordial Generation to the last. In my mind, demigods of the Gods of Olympus can never mix with the children of the primordials. Reason? Simple. The difference in power between them is worrying. Be calm dear reader, I will explain...
For those who don't know, Zeus is extremely terrified of Nyx, the Primordial Goddess of the night, not only because she is VERY old, but for the simple reason that she knows the secret behind the immortality of the Gods... So, if she wants to take away Zeus' "comfort" (immortality), he totally loses his throne.
Not to mention the other Gods who are children of Nix... Moros, Hypnos, Thanatos, Eris etc... And speaking of Nix's children... I get a little disappointed when someone refers to Hypnos as a "Lesser God" or "Weaker God", whereas if we think about it logically... Hypnos is frighteningly powerful. There are COUNTLESS Gods that many don't give importance...
So, my idea is simple: Show how good the children of these Gods so poorly portrayed can be...
In the story I'm creating of Percy Jackson, since Zeus is a bit insecure about the Prime Gods, out of sheer fear of losing his immortality, he proclaims the total extinction of the Primordial Demigods. After all, if the Olympian Demigods are already powerful enough to deal with a God... Imagine a primordial demigod?
In this story, there will only be unique children of Primordial Gods, just as there will be demigods from that same generation. I know the popular version says that Eros is the son of Aphrodite and Ares... But I prefer the version where Eros is considered a Primordial God. Same thing for Hekate, I will follow the version where she is portrayed as Nyx's daughter.
At Camp Half Blood there will be a son of Hekate responsible for finding out if there is any Primordial Demigod there, so, when he finds them, he takes the person to another hidden Camp.... The Camp of Chaos.
A camp where the leader is Nyx's son, along with the deputy leader, his considerate sister. Daughter of Erebos.
What do you think reader? Leave your opinion.

thinking about how erke (and later stowe as well) calls eivor "broga" (literally just "terror" in old norse) as an affectionate nickname and losing it actually
Yes! Exactly what I was thinking about Rn so I’m gonna share my opinion as well about it in a longer post. Glad to see I’m not the only one who thought about this spinoff <3
(Un)friendly reminder that if PJO and spn existed within the same universe, Sam and Dean would want to hunt Percy solely because of the Mount Saint Helens eruption, and probably the rest of the demigods too just because they’re not human.
Here's something funny that I can't believe I've never shared before.
So I was scrolling through the Hector of Troy tag and I stumbled upon a post referring to him as the "son of Troy".
Now, in it of itself that's all fine and dandy, but it reminded me of something.
In Italian, the city of Troy is referred to as Troia.
The word Troia just so happens to be a mixture of the words bitch and slut.
So yeah, you just end up with these marvelous expressions:
"Hector, son of Troy" becomes "Ettore, figlio di Troia" = "Hector, son of a Bitch"
"Trojan War" becomes "Guerra di Troia" = "Slut War"
"Paris, prince of the city of Troy" becomes "Paride, principe della città di Troia" = "Paris, prince of the city of the Slut"
And I could go on.
Man, do I love my language.
The atmosphere in our DnD campaign has become very cute and lighthearted. :D The Grey Wardens are currently at the Festival of Fortunes which lasts several days. We all wanted to enter for the Mounted Race but the festivaI only selects a few entries for the actual race.
So! Ijech and Faeyra teamed up: Ijech going for an icequeen illusion sort of look, Faeyra wild-shaping into a majestic elk. Deimos and Panthea also teamed up: Deimos transforming his outfit into something a bit more revealing, Panthea wild-shaping into a white tiger!
Then Nora took Ludek aside and told him she had an idea how they can also enter the race. She suddenly used the polymorph spell on herself, transforming into a giant goat. The difference between wild-shape and polymorph however… the two druids are still in spirit themselves. But a polymorphed Nora suddenly had the intelligence of a goat. It… didn’t go well. Thankfully Ludek had some rope. x’D But they aren’t joining the race. ;___;
P.S. The Undead are only a village away from us.
I've always drifted towards clever characters, but my childhood self was fascinated with how Sandokan from the titular novel overcame every challenge with a mix of inhuman physical strength, iron-like willpower, and raw magnetism. The scene where someone attempts to flog him and he responds by lifting them up effortlessly and stating that he has in his veins royal blood and will not tolerate being insulted rewrote my brain chemistry.
what the fuck

What if captive prince was settled in a Forgotten realms- like world? Maybe it is a part of Faerun that has been cut off from the outside world?
Akelion population that is not human is accepted as normal, Damianos knows and talks this creature’s tongues and has some magic bases, also I picture him as very charmed by those creature’s costumes and is very beloved by them. Maybe this magic inhabitants played a role in Kastor’s defeat?
MaYbE Kastor, as the absolute asshole he is, commanded killed many of the magic folks, much like Nilfgaard in the Witcher.
Like imagine; Damianos has just arrived to a very old ruins, injured and Laurent almost dead bc ✨some shit✨and some fairies come to him to help and Laurent gets healed by them and just stands there speechless like ‘wtf??? Damen?? What is this??’
Maybe Laurent saw some of this creatures as a kid and the seal was created by some resentful mage to prevent the Regent from using magic?? Maybe??
I know very classical fantasy bui I WILL BE WRITING SOMETHING ABOUT THIS-
While working on some Dragon Age content here you go with this vampire MC concept for you to take >;D

Snapshots of the folk dance 鹿鸣宴 (Lu Ming Banquet). The name refers to a specific type of banquet in ancient times that would take place the day after results of the imperial examination were published. It was to celebrate the scholars who had passed. The dance is about one such banquet.
You can watch the full dance on Youtube.
