I'm only saying this for your sake, but objectively, it's not a smart idea to bring politics into normal hobbies. You might lose supporters of your blog just because of your political stance, and that would be terrible since you're so amazing!! It's only a suggestion, but I really reccomend not bringing politics into anything.

just realised how in most such stories, it is always the sidekick/best friend characters that try to valiantly give up their lives so the main character–the more plot significant actor–gets to proceed on the journey to thwart evil and save and the world or wtv but in percy jackson, percy is the one continuously and consistently sacrificing himself and uplifting the importance of other characters on the journey. he acts like he’s totally dispensable and not at all important in the larger scheme of things, thinks that between the three of them, his absence will be the least disruptive and it’s just such a unique spin on the trope because percy never ever thinks it’s okay for others to die in order for him to live on, instead he tries his best to keep everyone else safe at his own cost and yes it’s a fatal flaw, a self-sacrificing mentality that isn’t all healthy but it’s such a rootable, endearing aspect of his character i’m. sobbing. BYE.
