The marvel rivals season numbering convention irks me a lot so you have the FIRST season which would reasonably be called season 1 because we are a intelligent society who know that the FIRST thing is always number one but instead in some Gregorian ass sick twist of fate the people up at marvel rivals decide to choose to label their first season as season 0 which I don’t mind too much it’s the only other semi-reasonable option, it will make things a lot more confusing, but alas we move on to season 1 which means they are progressing in WHOLE numbers this will be important for the next season season one… POINT FIVE WHY JUST WHY IF MARVEL RIVALS WANTED TO GO BY .5s THEN THEY COULDVE CALLED THE SECOND SEASON (season 1?) SEASON 0.5 IF YOU WANT TO BE CONFUSING ABOUT IT AT LEAST MAKE IT CONSISTENT. I’m just saying all this trouble could’ve been avoided if you 1.started off with .5s and 2. Ignore number one because it would’ve been much simpler just going 1,2,3,4 so on and so forth like any baby can do in their first half decade in life.

Cds are like the middle child between Vinyls and streaming because I have this cd player and I decided to get Lincoln by TMBG and there wasn't a cd version of the album so I went on amazon and tell me WHY an album with a little over 34 MILLION streams on Spotify only has ONE, UNO, used cd left in stock on amazon. THATS CRAZY we need to respect this medium of listening to music much more than we do today. we as A SOCIETY need to stop viewing cds as a the buffer between vinyl and streaming, and start viewing it as the affordable way of listening to music on physical media

Emoticons hold a special place in my heart which made me confused when I learned that this ;-; emoticon was for crying when it’s very clearly an Italian emoticon doing the Italian hand thingy

I watched the Minecraft movie on opening night (I know, I’m part of the problem) with my friends and I was genuinely stunned when people actually applauded at those stupid lines from the trailers, like I joked about doing a standing ovation every time they say something from the trailer but I didn’t actually think people would do it. And it wasn’t even like a tiny group of people clapping it was like thundering applause whenever Jack black said something from the teasers I expected there to be more families watching the movie, oblivious to the memes about it, but it was mostly just teens and young adults going to watch it as a joke. And I was sat with what seemed to be the only family in the theater who, bless her heart, was actually confused about the clapping and just went along with it

One thing I noticed while watching squid games is that 001 makes a pun about Gi-hun's last name in episode 5 that's like "un-SEONG hero" so I wondered if they used a different pun cause it wouldn't really translate well if they used the same pun in Korean so I changed the language and the joke in Korean was that Seong is the literal word for last name in Korean "성" so that was a really cool thing they did
