I’ve been playing persona 3 recently and I love the elderly couple so much I want to give them a hug so bad. The grandpa didn’t know how to do capitalize letters so the first few messages he sends you are just completely in lowercase.
Genuinely strongly dislike people who hate whimsy and being corny, like why do you hate fun
The Tower of Babel falling just conveniently enough to scramble these specific words
One thing I love about the Germanic languages is that they all have fundmantally the same wh- question words, but with just the right sound changes to make them very confusing to speakers of every other Germanic language. Like yeah, sure, why not have "wie" mean "who"? Why not have "wo" mean "where"? Why not have "hur" mean how?
Such a beautiful family
I LOVE THIS !!111!!!1!!!
Capybara from Old School RuneScape
I never had a proper good look at the In rainbows cover so I always thought it was some guy in a hoodie taken on like a very shitty camera so here’s an artist rendition of how I thought it was like
Dude we should just change the words for gender to be more Greek because andros and gyne sound so much cooler than male and female, just saying HUGE missed opportunity from the creators behind English
I just watched a complete unknown and what I got from it is that Bob Dylan cheated on his girlfriend with another woman who he then cheated on with an acoustic guitar who he also cheated on with an electric guitar
I watched the Minecraft movie on opening night (I know, I’m part of the problem) with my friends and I was genuinely stunned when people actually applauded at those stupid lines from the trailers, like I joked about doing a standing ovation every time they say something from the trailer but I didn’t actually think people would do it. And it wasn’t even like a tiny group of people clapping it was like thundering applause whenever Jack black said something from the teasers I expected there to be more families watching the movie, oblivious to the memes about it, but it was mostly just teens and young adults going to watch it as a joke. And I was sat with what seemed to be the only family in the theater who, bless her heart, was actually confused about the clapping and just went along with it
anyway ill make like socrates and pull a thinker pose while looking off into the distance
