THIS SAVED MY WHOLE WRITING CAREER. you can find synonyms here so you don't repeat the same words over and over again, definitions, rhymes as well that i often use for poems, and even translations and pronounciations!! trust me, this website has everything. ‣ i miss my cafe. brings you into a site where you could relax and listen to noises that you'd usually hear in a cafe (a barista, drinks, coffee cups, other customers, weather, etc) !! i suggest you put it to preparing drinks and rainy day at the same time, it sounds really comforting :')) you can even play spotify music in another tab, if you'd like. ‣ inkarnate. a site that helps you build your own fantasy world !! has lots of good resources, free texture packs, and different world templates that you can choose from. a life-saver for people who struggle with world-building <3 ‣ world anvil. a more advanced site for not only world-building, but also for other things like characters, items (ex: swords), languages, myths or legends, other-worldly species, titles, traditions, professions, and a lot more !! it helps you keep track of everything you need in your high-fantasy world.

headcanon: arataki itto had a hard time saying "i love you." not because he was shy or afraid. but rather, because he never found the right time to speak out these meaningful words. so, he goes out of his way to exhibit his love for you in various other ways.

Arataki Itto was many things, but if you were to narrow every single mingling thought you had about him, you would consider him a fully devoted lover. He was unpredictable, but in countless different ways, he undoubtedly reminds you through the tiniest, most insignificant actions, that you can easily count on him.

Just… not this time.

With his back against your chest, you patched up his shoulder for the nth time that very week. Yet again, he had challenged the stone-cold Kujou Sara into a duel, and yet again he lost. You almost shake your head at the man’s naivety. If you weren’t a doctor, you’d think he was setting himself up for death every single time he went out of his way to challenge Madame Kujou. You were aware of his stature as an oni, his strength as a man, and his determination as a vision-holder.

Every single time you think about such qualities, you find yourself swooning for him.

Itto grunts when you press a disinfectant wipe against one of his wounds, out of reflex his hand grabs your wrist. And whenever he grabs your wrist, his abnormally long nails would accidentally scratch you. At that action, Itto jumps in concern as he turns to face you. The man ignored the pain on his shoulder as he focused on you instead.

“Ack— I’m sorry, love.” He quickly apologizes even though you knew it was unintentional.

You shake your head. “This is nothing, Itto.” You lighten up his frown with a laugh. Itto pouts as he presses a kiss on your wrist. It was nothing compared to the injury he has now, but that did not stop him from feeling a little bit of despair. To Itto, you were delicate, like a piece of Liyue’s finest tea cup. “Really, baby, I’m fine. I should continue patching you up.”

“But I hurt you,” like a child, he whines. In response to his words, you cup his cheeks and press a small kiss by the corner of his mouth, urging him to let his back face you once again while you finish cleaning up his shoulders. Itto almost grumbled, but he stopped himself as he merely admired the way you easily disregarded your own wellbeing for his own.

“I love you.” Was what he would want to say, but there was no way he would be able to spew such words out of the blue when you were so focused on fixing him up. Would he startle you? Would you say it back? Or would you acknowledge him with a hum? Itto merely purses his lips shut, it was uncharacteristic for him to be this quiet, but you don’t question him about it.

Itto doesn’t always tend to himself on his own. Unless you point it out or speak eye-to-eye to him about how he is taking care of himself, he’d go as far as seek out advice from his greatest rival to please you. One such occasion included the first few months you had both started dating. You were wary that he would scratch himself— or others— with his talon-like nails, and upon speaking up about that, the following evening Itto found himself in the presence of Yoimiya as she taught him how to cut and file his nails.

One time, you caught him hiding away in your bathroom as he filed his nails. He was struggling to complete his dominant hand that very day, and instead of laughing about it, he found himself sitting in between your legs on your couch as you did his nails for him. The feeling of your hands against his was enough to have him burst into a fit of fluster and bashfulness. There truly was no other lover like you, and in these events he caught himself thinking as a kaleidoscope of butterflies roared in his chest and stomach, I love you. I love you so, so much.

Sometimes, he also caught himself hugging you a little tightly while you slept. He loved the feeling of your breath fanning over his bare chest just as he admired your tranquil state. He’d smile to himself when your eyes fluttered, or when the tiniest trace of drool escaped your lips— he did not mind, in fact, it was the tiniest moments such as this one where he found himself falling for you all over again. When he wasn’t loudly proclaiming his admiration for you, he was quietly thinking to himself: How did I get so lucky with you?

Undoubtedly, there was no other lover like you. And the moment the three golden words escaped his lips because of his expressively loud nature. It had been another duel with Kujo Sara, and this time, he invited you to witness him— along with other few bystanders who merely anticipated his loss once again. Briefly, before the match he caught you apologizing to Sara sheepishly, but he put no regard for that small action because while it was in Itto’s nature to be buoyant, it was in your nature that you were easily concerned.

It was quite an endearing match as they both held up well, you found yourself chuckling quietly whenever he would do something as little as make eye-contact with you or flash you a charmingly wide grin. Even to this day, he was so charming.

Even though the match ended with his demise once again, Sara was courteous enough to leave him unscathed as she was aware of how you were in charge of patching many patients. When Itto threw himself next to you on the bench, you let him lay his large body on your lap. Your fingers stroked his hair while he grumbled. He was surprised that you were neither disappointed nor surprised. This was probably the first time you’ve seen him fight against Madame Kujou, so why did you seem so giddy at the moment?

“Why are you smiling?” Itto pouted, looking up at you. He disregarded the way passersby cast the both of you odd gazes. After all, he was practically cuddling on your lap in the middle of the street. But he didn’t mind since he was busy looking at you from below. “I just lost, ya know? That’s nothin’ ta be proud of.” He mumbles.

You laugh, pinching his cheek childishly before sighing. “I’m not smiling because of that, dummy.”

“Then wha—”

“I’m smiling because I think you, Arataki Itto, are great,” you speak proudly, “and I’m also smiling because, heh, I love you.”

He was caught off guard by your following words, his cheeks rising in hue as you peck his nose. For a moment, his heart had taken over his head and the only thing between the both of you was the loud and booming pulse against his chest. A large grin plastered over his handsome face and he copied your posture as he sat up to meet your genuine eyes.

“I love you too.” He mumbled, more to himself because his thoughts seemed so clouded at this moment. The golden words. He had spoken them, and he repeated these affirmations as he stood up on his feet and hugged you around your waist, “I love you too!” He laughed. "I, Arataki Itto, love you so much more!"

It did not matter if people had began to stop and stare. This was a moment that he would cherish forever. And before he let go of your waist, he caught himself saying, “there’s no other lover like you, [Y/N].”

That’s My Husband - America x Reader

Working at a local McDonald’s and flipping greasy, calorie flipped, mystery “meat” paddies that cause the death of a crap ton of people every year. But hey! You gotta do somethin’ to keep bills payed (even though they don’t pay nearly enough for that...), food on the table, clothes on your back, and a roof over your head. That’s just the way life works. Working 8+ hours every day with no break to speak of over a hot grittle and flipping greasy patties of death.

“Y/n, we have another order for 35 Big Macs, 15 Large Coca-Colas, 30 Large fries, 5 Oreo Flurries, 10 M&M Flurries, 2 Vanilla cones, 10 Large Chocolate shakes, 25 Strawberry & Crème pies, 25 Apple pies, and a Large Strawberry shake”, said your co-worker and window-worker, Shauna.

I sighed before replying. “I swear to every God I can think of-”, I said as I turned to start making the Godzilla sized order.

The work was hard but the one thing that inspired you to keep going was the ring on your finger. ‘Gotta keep trucking along for him. The order is done and now all I have to do is collect the money, pass the order, then I can go home after cleaning.’

“Alright, Shauna. Take these. I’m about to start cleaning.” I began to gently massage the sides of my head to help tame the headache that was bigger than Gilbert’s, another co-worker of mine’s ego. Once she had to cart with the order on it, I let her loose and started tidying up so I could book it out of there for day.

About 20 minutes later, I head Shauna calling my name and Gilbert laughing at something. I walked into the kitchen readying myself to beat Gilbert with a frying pan if he had somehow ripped the large LED “M” off the building. Again. That story is for another time. “N/n, one of our customers thinks you’re super hot and he wants to go on a date with you later.” Shauna and Gilbert were struggling not to laugh at your expression. ‘How do I turn them down in the nicest way possible?’, I thought as I neared the window only to be met with a cute blonde boy chilling in his Red Corvette. He had eyes of ocean blue, a really cute ahoge tucked into his waves of golden locks. A blush arises onto my cheeks as he flashes me and smile of pearly white and winks at me.

After getting over my heavy blush, I turned to my giggling co-workers who were now leaning on each other for support while trying to stifle their laughs.

“Gilbert. Shauna.” I called out to them for their attention. They then turned to me panting from all the laughing they did. I rolled my eyes at the foolish duo and spoke up.

“That’s my husband, Alfred F. Jones.”

“So, am I getting that number or what?”

“Alfred, shut up. I love you and I’ll deal with you when I get home.”
