There is a star in the universe
I hear its words
Trailing in the night
Calling to me
"Come home"
I hear it say
"Come home to us"
It repeats
In the night is when I hear it most
Its words stronger then
Its words brighter
Calling
I hear it as I fall asleep
"Welcome home"
It says
"Home"
I repeat

My sweetest baby is like the petrol and my little demon is like a jet, but only when food is involved.

I've recently got into the Shepnax fandom thanks to some Coalecroux posts and suddenly my brain noticed that there were a lot of similarities Kremy shared with Sarnax and Gideon shared with Silas.
Then my brain came up with this theory:
What if Kremy is Sarnax's reincarnation while Gideon is Silas' reincarnation?
They do seem to be drawn to each other and you cannot tell me the series of events in episode 15 of OUAW wasn't someone pulling the strings of fate to make sure those two got married.
My money is on Gherix being said someone but who can say,
Plus it would make everyone at the OUAW table pretty much shipping Coalecroux even more funny.
Thanks for reminding me of this Bad/Morally Grey Clark Kent story. Where Clark feeds Bruce something that puts him in a deadly coma for a week. Bruce survives and has nightmares for a bit because Clark fed him mermaid flesh. Eating mermaid flesh makes you immortal if you survive the process. I've been searching for that story for two years!
I can see Diana in collaboration with Clark getting something from Olympus or snatching some magical food from different pantheons to secretly give Bruce to make him some form of immortal.
If you find it, let me know! I’d love to read it. Morally grey Clark is one of my favorite tropes to read.

I'm re-listening to Icebound, and I realized something.
Taishen said he raised Mei Li. And somehow I didn't register that the first time I listened to Icebound. Taishen being a parent or at least a parental figure makes so much sense. And also...
That means he's a dilf
...I need to write a modern au one-shot where he's a single parent tea shop owner and has a meet cute with Jornir
✧ They talk about the person in past tense… then correct themselves. Then stop talking entirely.
✧ They touch things that belonged to the person like they’re fragile, sacred, about to disappear.
✧ They hoard the last voicemail, last message, last anything. Play it. Don’t play it. Just knowing it exists hurts enough.
✧ They leave something untouched, an empty seat, a half-packed bag, a coffee order that isn’t theirs.
✧ They get irrationally angry when someone else seems to be “moving on.” As if forgetting is betrayal.
✧ They don’t let themselves cry all at once. It comes in pieces. Like they’re afraid too much grief will drown them.
✧ They over-apologize. For being quiet. For being distant. For not being okay.
✧ They become hyper-aware of time, dates, anniversaries, time zones, the exact moment everything ended.
✧ They get superstitious. Ritualistic. As if doing things "right" might reverse something.
✧ They smile when they talk about the person. But it’s brittle. And it never quite touches their eyes.
After traveling together for so long, Gricko has learned how to purr like Frost does. Like, if there's no threat and they're both happy and content they'll just start purring together.
This is a true fact.
Awwwww. I imagine it's subconscious for Frost and then Gricko joins in and they are both like ah. I am happy. This is good.
I want them happy forever and ever (i say, still making angst)
