I've been informed that the screenplay for Deadpool 4 (aka Deadpool and Wolverine Part 2 Electric Boogaloo) is going to keep their dynamic exactly the same (minus the initial animosity), and right at the end of the movie Wolverine is going to casually mention that they're married. Got married about a year after they met. For the tax benefits, obviously. Deadpool, while winking at the camera, will add "among other reasons", and then the movie will immediately cut into credits.

I always forget I can post fics onto Tumblr. Anyway, have these two (both Taishen-centric for some reason)

(Spoilers for episodes 14/15-ish of Icebound, it diverges from canon but there's still some spoilers)

Make it up to you - word count: 2,162

AO3 Summary: "Ever since he messed up only a night or so ago by not keeping an eye on that child and falling asleep when he was supposed to be on watch, Taishen was struggling to find ways to make it up to them. It weighed on the back of his mind endlessly, repeating the disappointed statements of his friends' and his own regrets.

Now, however, Taishen realized he had a decision to make, and it wasn’t a difficult one anymore (not that it would have been before). His eyes were keenly watching the action, and could tell when a magical attack was about to strike, headed right for a distracted Skrimm.

He could make up for his mistake here and now. (Even if he almost dies in the process)"

In which I felt bad for Taishen having tried his best to save this child - the one job he was given while they were gone - and then his friends return and basically tell him what a bad job he did and he just forgets that he even tried and so I wanted to do something about it.

Aka, I needed an excuse to write about Barnabos and Taishen and so I wrote this for some reason. (Featuring more unnecessary canon divergence that changes nothing and is just for plot convenience!)

I'm sure you didn't mean it that way, but the Bruce being there for Lois' when she's giving birth (and Clark too) gives me such OT3 vibes. I am obsessed tbh. If Bruce is already being in a relationship with them and putting aside his fear and excitement to be there for Lois, and then when he holds the baby, a baby he'll get to help raise and grows? He totally cries.

Or maybe they get together after Jon is born, because Lois and Clark are staying with him at the manor so they can help out with the baby, with plenty of room for Martha too since she's too old to sleep on Clark's shitty pullout sofa bed. Bruce has been Clark's best friend for years, but suddenly he becomes Lois' best friend too. And when they leave the manor, and return home, Lois and Clark find themselves missing Bruce. His presence, his dry sense of humor (and his ability to soothe any baby- Lois swears it's his superpower, Clark says it's because Bruce has such a similar vocabulary, with all his grunts and huffs, babies assume he's one of them), his unwavering companionship.

So one night, over glass of wine for Lois and a sparking grape juice for Clark, they confess to missing Bruce. To wanting more, even as they promise they won't/didn't betray other... only they both realize they want the same thing.

I’m starting to think that maybe there’s something in the male Wayne bloodline that makes them such rabid polycule bait. Like their particular brand of crazy can only be handled by multiple people (Martha and Alfred for Thomas, Lois and Clark for Bruce, etc etc)

to those of you who are moving here from tiktok, from someone whos used both tiktok and tumbr for years...

1. DO NOT censor your posts

dont censor sex, abuse, suicide, dont censor it. we dont have censors like tiktok does, you wont be banned for talking about these things and tagging them properly helps people avoid them (also, we dont have shadowbanning here)

2. we dont really have an algorithm

you follow who you follow, and you see posts from who you follow or what you search. the 'for you page' is basically useless here. this also brings me to my next two points

3. dont crosstag

we get it, on tiktok you have to crosstag for reach, but thats not really a thing here. just tag your posts properly (also posters often leave more info about the post in the tags!! and when you reblog stuff you can leave your own notes in the tags, kind of like the old "repost comments" on tiktok)

4. dont expect to go viral/be famous

"viral" isnt really a thing on here (at least not for the average blogger). your posts will probably get 2-10 likes and you wont get nearly as many followers than on tiktok. thats just how tumblr is

5. blocking is your best friend

tiktok is VERY discussion based, and while tumblr is much more discussion based than other social medias, its still not a good place for ragebait/discourse. dont interact, itll make your experience worse in the end, just block and move on

6. you cant go into someone elses house and start rearranging their furniture

this is tumblr, not tiktok. dont diss old tumblr users for how they use the site or try to change them, thats like going into someone elses house and trying to rearrange their furniture. we've been here longer and we're familiar with the site and its culture, either find your niche, adapt, or find a different app
