just noticed something in hobies intro...

before he enters the scene, this is the messaging broadcast all across his london:

OBEY. DO NOT QUESTION. CONSUME.

on every screen and surface and outlet, thats the message ordered by the government and the media and the system. to conform. to follow orders. to submit. to live and die by the establishment.

then after Hobie enters the scene with his unauthorized political action art pieces and, figuratively and literally, disrupts the narrative, the message, his message, rewrites it all and changes it all to

FREEDOM. JOY. LIVE FREE. LOVE EACH OTHER.

KINDNESS AND FREEDOM is the battlecry and message Hobie brings to his world as Spider-Man.

Kindness is Punk.

kindness and freedom despite everything IS punk. and Hobie destroying the system with that is so fucking powerful and beautiful. he is the embodiment of punk, and its not just an aesthetic. even if he wasnt aesthetically punk, he would still be punk because punk IS his character, it is his values, his morals, his message.

gods i just keep finding more reasons to love Hobie so deeply. he's genuinely one of, if not, the most inspiring character i have ever witnessed in media.

Okay so we all acknowledge that the YJ98 team, despite their best efforts, were deeply unserious. As a bunch of young/mid teens (some experiencing this for the first time) fucking around on the weekends, they had to do some regular teen things.

SO I PROPOSE THAT THEY DEFINITELY MADE A HOMEMADE MUSIC VIDEO.

Choreographed dance routines, matching outfits and accessories, they even get Traya involved. Red Tornado is the best cameraman (no camera shakes) and Bart naturally is a great rapper.

It hasn’t been seen in years but they all know that Tim has a copy saved somewhere.

Kusuo is essentially a hissing and biting feral cat Nendo caught and took to the vet and his friends are all trying to give him necessary vaccines so he can live healthily (friendship, love, affection, safety, etc.)

I don't think we talk about this much, but this one line just shows how important Inej is, to Kaz.

Revenge is the foundation of Kaz's life, his sole purpose, his final destination, his motivation. The reason he lives. Revenge is why Kaz didn't give up. Revenge is everything to him.

And yet he was willing to give that up. For what?

For Inej. Inej Ghafa. His Wraith. The only person he could trust and knew won't use his secrets against him.

And I think it is very important.

Why Thalia, Percy, and Nico should be the little 3 instead of Percy, Nico, and Jason

1) All of them are greek, and it doesn't make sense for it to be 2 Greeks and a Roman. It might be my neuro divergence but it irks me to no end

2) Thalia is a queen and an OG. Before Jason, she was there

3) There's literally a whole quest with the 3 of them

4) They all have more history together!!! Thalia also knew Nico when he was a kid!!! She was on the quest that killed his sister!!!

4.5) She's also a Hunter of Artemis and there could be great character moments between her and Nico talking abt Bianca and helping Nico get over any resentment towards the hunter of Artemis

4.75) Look, Thalia must have also been affected by Bianca's death but nobody addresses it!!! It wasn't just Percy and Nico affected guys, Zoe, Thalia, and Grover were there too!!!

5) She helped create the Dam joke. I don't need to say anymore than that

6) This may be unintentional but I think it's unfair that Thalia and Hazel being the only female big 3 kids (except Bianca RIP) get shafted a lot in favour of their male counterparts
