I’m Always Shocked When Girls Turn Down The Opportunity To Have American Vacations. I Love A Short

I’m always shocked when girls turn down the opportunity to have American vacations. I love a short flight and a good stateside stay because then I’m able to start enjoying myself immediately instead of trying to fight off jet lag or figure out a new country.

i want to shake many young women and say you can grow in private. and what i mean by that is that you don’t have to publicly self-flagellate when you don’t know something or when you say something a little insensitive or whatever else. you don’t have to report your Bad Thoughts and Ignorance to the crowd who waits to judge you. you do not have to pay penance. you do not have to issue public statements. nothing more is gained from burying yourself in shame than you could gain by thinking “oh i don’t know about this” and looking it up real quick, or thinking “hm, that wasn’t how i want to behave, i’ll do different next time” and then moving on with your life. no need to choke yourself with it.

Rhinoplasty ~ $3,500.

I had my nose done back in 2021 for $3,500, and yes, the stimulus checks I got subsidized it. I was 18, wanted to fix my nose so badly, and had plenty of spare time on my hands, so I did it. I don’t regret it in the slightest, but I view myself differently after having it, and while my face changed for the better, it still changed to a point where I felt as if I was unrecognizable for a few years. I had no pain, recovery was swift, my bridge and nostrils are perfection, and I tape to this day. It was worth the money, and again, I don’t regret it, but I do think that anyone who has facial plastic surgery needs to be mentally prepared for the stress you’ll experience immediately postop and during your year of recovery.

Breast Augmentation ~ $6,500.

I had breast implants, an internal bra, a little bit of lipo on my bra line, and a fat transfer to the upper poles of my breasts, and it was worth every penny. I was flat as a board before, but I didn’t want to do anything that would seem overpowering on my frame, so I discussed it all with my surgeon, and we found a solution together. They sit like they’re fake but feel like they’re real, they look amazing in bikini tops, and the lipo and internal bra were worth every cent of the extra cost. I went with silicone over saline. I had the classic under-bust incision (and it’s so faded now that it just looks like a thin white line), and apart from some heavy bruising in the area, recovery was easy.

Full Body Electrolysis ~ $2,000.

I was grandfathered in with the pricing here, but I’d still really recommend electrolysis if you want a permanent form of hair removal. I got started on electrolysis when I was 16. It took around nine months of regular sessions and consistent effort to get to where I wanted to be, and five years have passed with very minimal hair growth. I had thick, dark hair, and I hated it so much that I did what everyone I knew at the time was doing and decided to have my body hair removed. Electrolysis hurts like a mother; it leaves your skin stinging, but in my opinion, it’s the only way to make sure the hair stays gone long term. My underarms hurt the least, my bikini area was bad at the start, and the backs of my knees were horrendous, but numbing gel really helps.

I go to the gym twice daily, every day without fail. I do a 3-mile walk every day at noon, I stretch my body twice daily, and I have a single themed class on Sundays at noon in lieu of my walk. I like being slim, active, and flexible, and the time I spend in the gym feels like a reward instead of a punishment or a requirement.

I drink green juice, kefir, aloe juice, kombucha, and green tea religiously on top of water. I had an issue with not hydrating; I turned that around quickly, and I swapped all my sodas for good drinks (with the exception of the occasional Diet Coke). I start the morning and end my night with a hot lemon tea with a little honey, keep myself hydrated with electrolyte salts, and make sure that I’m on track to meeting my daily hydration goals before I let myself have a soda.

I believe in little treatments and I indulge myself. I do float tanks frequently and love the feeling, I keep up with red light therapy, I love a classic sauna sit, and I think it’s important to sit in salt rooms and meditate. Regardless of whether or not these things actually work, they add to my quality of life and make me feel so much better. Salt rooms are great for my anxiety.

I eat well and really enjoy cooking and baking. I used to be obsessed with limiting the amount of sugar, carbs, and calories I consumed, but then I realized that I could cut out most fast/processed foods and alcohol and eat what I want. If I’m cooking, baking, and creating meals or going to restaurants with good menus, I’m happy to eat whatever I want and enjoy it, but for my own sake, I stay away from really unhealthy stuff and most alcohol.

I do lymphatic drainage massages weekly, and I think that they’ve helped to sculpt my body, and I also do acupuncture, which I believe helps me to not feel as tired and has helped take all of the tension out of my shoulders and the backs of my calves. Both are necessary evils and have helped me function much better than I used to. The headaches I used to get nearly disappeared once I started getting acupuncture, and all of the bloating I used to get in the mornings basically disappeared once I added massages to my weekly routine and started using my roller at home.

Things that changed your face?

Lip filler, a tan, no more bottom mascara, thinner and slightly darker eyebrows, gua sha and nu face daily, good skincare, limiting alcohol and focusing on what I put into my body, cutting sugary drinks and adding kefir/kombucha to my hydration schedule, washing my sheets and makeup tools weekly, red light therapy, and learning how to apply makeup properly did it for me.

Things you look for in men?

Put together (usually subtle designer), good haircuts and neat nails, expensive aesthetic dental and vision care, a high quality/rigorous educational background, a pricey hobby or two, a network of personal and professional connections that would boggle the mind of an average person, a good family name (no matter how small), experience traveling, good manners and a mild temperament, a set career path with a reasonable backup plan, little to no debt, and good mental health.

being multidimensional is protective. a boy breaks my heart but my friends take me out for ice cream. I don’t get into my dream school but I get my first comment on my YouTube video. I burn the brussels sprouts but I nail the cinnamon buns. the more pieces I add to my foundation the less I am shaken by the earthquake

I’m sitting in my hairstylist’s chair for 6 hours today, so I’m shopping and designing my new place on my iPad. I’m moving to university and rushing this autumn, so I’m in the process of choosing what I’ll wear for each day. I don’t have a budget, and I like to shop, but the issue is I’m always out or otherwise busy with something more pressing than shopping, so it’s nice to sit with foils in my hair and focus on pulling everything together. This is much better than the Peking Duck and Diet Coke rest we do when I have a long appointment.

“the essence of true transformation lies in the willingness to let go of who we’ve known ourselves to be, for the possibility of who we might become”

i love not being accessible to a lot of people.
