I do believe in my heart that maybe a lot of fictives out there are Soulbounds but are too bombarded by their host that they’re fictives/introjects that they don’t realize their life actually was real and isn’t just a coping mechanism for their host.
soulbounding culture is loving your Soulbounds to life again

The want and desire of wanting amnesia and dissasociative barriers so everyone can have their own privacy vs the need to monitor what everyone's doing.
Kinda nonhuman because mental illness, kinda nonhuman because not being properly socialized as a kid, kinda nonhuman because queer, kinda nonhuman because angry at humanity, kinda nonhuman because longing for the unconditional love of a pet and it’s master, and kinda nonhuman because secret sixth thing.
Its like, people can ask me "why do you like this flat, two-dimensional, obnoxious fictional character and read into them a complex and nuanced inner life, and not this other flat, two dimensional, obnoxious fictional character?"
But all I can respond is that one of them I know personally and understand as a fellow being with a rich inner life and many positive qualities, and the other is just a flat, two dimensional, obnoxious fictional character to me. 🤷
Why not? I genuinely don’t see a reason why you cannot identify as a deer or transition into one (whether socially or physically)
I was looking for Otherkin videos on YouTube to avoid the drama of TikTok when I came across this video stating that “No, You Can’t Identify As A Deer (Trans-Species)” and all I can say is why not?
It is so close minded to believe that we simply do this for fun (I’m not invalidating funlinks).
A lot of us have species dysphoria and it’s a real struggle. We have to deal with people like you claiming that our identities that have existed longer than you’ve been alive are invalid.
I hate how the only way anti-kins can argue against transspecies individuals is by bringing up transgender individuals.
The prefix ‘trans’ is not specific to transgender experiences
-A trans transspecies individual
I've noticed that when someone is asking if they might be a therian (this happens more on YouTube, TikTok, etc), and they describe having a connection to an animal, there will sometimes be a reply that goes something like "Oh, you are probably just otherhearted!" Just. It's a small word but it changes the attitude. You're not that animal, you just have a connection to them. It makes it seem like being otherhearted isn't as deep as being nonhuman/semihuman/fictional. When it can be and often times is. For me, the connections I feel to my hearttypes are just as important to me as my kintypes and nonhumanity.
This leads into the bigger issue that I've noticed. Otherhearted beings (seemingly) are often brushed off as less than, when they are still an alterhuman/alterbeing. They are apart of this community just as much as any alterbeing is.
And further more, I've noticed that humans in the alterhuman community are overlooked. Perhaps this is just what I've seen because I spend my time in primarily nonhuman spaces. But there are plenty of humans in this community, and they are just as alterhuman/alterbeing as any of us are.
Seeing more and more pro endogenic folk being hateful to created systems, and I have one message;
They already have us divided between traumagenic and endogenic, and I'm unsure if its just a pattern on our tumblr, or in the plural community, but i would hate to see us divided by whether you are a created system or not.
Every system is valid. We are stronger together then apart, and anti-plurals see us as all the same mind you. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise.
"Stop calling sysmeds sysmeds because it makes sysmeds uncomfortable."
Your mistake is thinking I care about your comfort. You are pushing a hate-based ideology defined by being against my existence. It makes you uncomfortable because you can't stand people pointing out the similarities between your ideology and that of transmeds.
You are the worst kind of hypocrites. You have built an ideology founded on disrespecting others. Then you demand the victims of your hate respect you... by not calling out the harm your hate causes.
Not everyone is entitled to respect. Some actions and ideologies are inherently disrespectful, and waive the responsibility of others to treat you with kindness.
If you are a sysmed, your ideology is just like transmeds. I am aware that this truth will hurt you. But you don't care about the pain your hate group causes, so I won't care about the pain I cause to you and your friends.
We are not going to avoid calling bigots bigots because it hurts the feelings of bigots when you point out their bigotry.
Hey. I'm a singlet and I honestly don't follow syscourse a lot because I am not directly affected by it and my NPD makes me stay away from things that don't affect me but I saw that there were many singlets that had a stance and most of them are anti endo and I am like... Wtf? Sib, you ain't no damn system. It's like if a non lgbtq+ person had an opinion on queer discourse NO. The only thing you should be doing and saying is: I don't know but I think that anyone should be cared for and have rights and shits. That ain't that goddamn hard.
Sorry if I sound a bit aggressive, my tone is meant to be rather neutral. (Quick note because I think it matters, use it or he when talking about me in third person.).
Some people just are looking for groups to hate. It's as simple as that.
I think that there is a more generalized pluralophobia behind it!
That there are some singlets who are only capable of "caring" about systems if they can feel superior. They will accept systems as long as those systems accept that they are inferior to the singlet majority.
Those are the vibes that I get from a lot of singlet sysmeds.
It's a very conditional sort of acceptance casting systems as broken things that need to be fixed.
The moment they encounter a system who says "we didn't have trauma and our lives are perfectly fine and happy because we are together," That's now something that is a threat to established norms. It's a threat to singlet-normatism.
People with psychotic disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with personality disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with substance abuse disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with tic disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with bipolar disorder are neurodivergent too.
People with dissociative disorders are neurodivergent too.
Neurodivergence isn’t just ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression. (Plus those last two also get left out sometimes!) Neurodivergence is anything that affects your brain.
“Neurodivergent people hate loud noises” is actually just as valid as a statement as “neurodivergent people have delusions,” “neurodivergent people have tics,” or even “neurodivergent people have low empathy.”
