Loving Ace is like chasing the sunset knowing you cant ever quite catch it, but still, you run because the colors that it paints across the sky are worth every step. He’s like that- unreachable at times, always running far ahead and driven by something deeper that you can’t quite understand. But when he stops and lets you catch up, the moments that he shares with you feel like the most precious things in the world.

Loving Ace is waking up to the warmth of his body curled protectively around you like he’s protecting you from the horrors of the world, even when he’s the one who needs protecting. His arms are tight around you even in his unconscious state like he’s afraid you’ll slip away, like he doesn’t quite believe that he deserves to have something so precious.

Loving Ace also means understanding the darkness that lurks behind that bright smile of his. It’s recognizing that beneath his playful and laid-back exterior, lies a heart burdened by doubt, insecurity, and the heavy weight of a bloodline he never asked for. Loving him is realizing that sometimes he needs to burn brighter than ever to hide that coldness that sometimes creeps up from inside, that there are days when his flames flicker, and that he needs someone to remind him that he is worth every ounce of love that the world has to give.

Loving Ace is kissing him in the dead of the night, his lips hot, burning with the same fire that makes up his very essence. It’s as if he is pouring everything that he feels into that one moment. It’s desperate, passionate, a release of all the things that he feels, hoping that he can convey them with this one action. And he only pulls away when you both are starved for air, both of you breathless, lips ghosting over yours, the gesture leaving your heart racing in a picture-perfect moment.

Loving Ace is seeing the world through his eyes- a world where freedom is the ultimate prize, where loyalty is learned through actions, not words, and where family is everything. It’s understanding that to love him is to love his crewmates, his brothers, and everyone else he has chosen to protect. Though his heart is shared with many, there’s a part of it that’s just for you, a part that no one else gets to touch.

Loving Ace is feeling the thrill of his warm hands on your skin, the way he touches you as if he is committing every part of you to memory. His fingers dance along the flesh, tracing toasty trails along the way, and when his lips follow in soft and teasing pecks, it’s enough to send a shiver down your spine. He pulls you closer, planting kisses across every surface he can reach until he finally lands on your lips, kissing you deeply, savoring the feeling.

Loving Ace is a rollercoaster with many twists, turns, and drops. It's unpredictable, thrilling, and filled with moments that take your breath away and moments that terrify you. But no matter how far he runs, no matter how erratic those flames burn, you’ll always find your way back to each other. Because when it comes to love, Ace doesn’t do things halfway. When he loves, he loves with everything he has and you feel it in every glance, every touch, every breath, every shared moment.

Loving Ace is standing beside him watching the sunset, hand in hand, knowing that you have a love that will last a lifetime. He is your endgame. Ace is the love of your life and that love will only grow day by day as you two face life together. And as the night falls, as the stars above mirror those freckles that dot the face of the man besides you, you know that this love- this wild, fierce, and all-consuming love- will carry you through anything.

Hey, random writing tip: Instead of having something be a ridiculously unlikely coincidence, you can make the thing happen due to who this particular character is as a person. Instead of getting stuck on "there's no logical reason to why that would happen", try to bend it into a case of "something like this would never happen to anybody but this specific fucker." Something that makes your reader chuckle and roll their eyes, going "well of course you would."

Why would the timid shy nerd be at a huge sketchy downtown black market bazaar? Well, she's got this beetle colony she's raising that needs a very specific kind of leaf for nest material, and there only place to get it is this one guy at the bazaar that sells that stuff. Why would the most femininely flamboyant guy ever known just happen to have downright encyclopedic knowledge about professional boxing? Well, there was this one time when he was down bad for this guy who was an aspiring professional boxer...

I know it sounds stupidly obvious when written out like this, but when you're up close to your writing, it's hard to see the forest for the trees. Some time ago I finished reading a book, where the whole plot hinges on character A, who is 100% certain that character B is dead, personally getting up and coming down from the top rooms of a castle, to the gates, at 3 am, to come look at some drunk who claims to be this guy who died 17 years ago. Why would A do that, if he's sure that B is dead?

Because he's a Warrior Guy from a culture of Loyalty And Honour, and hearing that someone's got the audacity to go about claiming to be his long-lost brother in battle, there is no other option than to immediately personally go down there to beat the ever-loving shit out of this guy. Who then turns out to actually be character B, after all.

A Captain’s Love

A fully colored digital comic of the Strawhats from One Piece.

Another panel shows Nami's reaction: an appalled expression on her face and "huh?" written in bold red letters.

The second page depicts Luffy sitting on Zoro's lap, happily eating meat while Zoro is drinking. Next to them is a gray silhouette again, asking: "isn't that weird?" At the bottom of the page is Zoro's reaction: an intimidating glare with "WHAT" spelled out in big red capital letters behind him.

The third page contains a drawing of Luffy and Usopp, sleeping on spread out blankets and pillows on the floor while cuddling. Again, the silhouette of a person is in the corner, remarking: "you know what people might think." Usopp's reaction in an extra panel is giving the person a deeply disapproving side-eye, asking "oh yeah...?"

The fourth page depicts Luffy tighly hugging Robin while lifting her in the air as both of them are grinning. The gray silhouette of a person is asking: "Are you really gonna let him act like that with your girlfriend?" Pictured underneath is Franky, deeply confused expression on his face, only responding with a bewildered "uhh...."

The last panel shows Luffy, grinning and holding his hat. The asexual and the aromantic flag are pictured behind him.

Sanji and his Nose bleeds! (With slight zosan maybe?)

I love the nosebleed trope and I wish it was used more then for just being a perv! So here's me trying to expand on it.

Sanji gets chronic nosebleeds. They started shortly after the rock. It felt like karma after everything his body has been through it finally started fighting back. Too bad it's a little late and now sanji gets to deal with it. They happen more when he's stressed or his blood pressure gets too high. After the rock Zeff helps him figure out how to manage them. He gets better at dealing with stress so that it won't cause a nosebleed. Once he joins the straw hats it's not really an issue anymore except for the occasional one, but he can't really help the raise in his blood pressure when looking at a pretty girl. It's not out of the norm for him to get one after a tough battle but everyone is pretty out of it by the end of a battle so nobody really noticed it blending in with the rest of the blood he's typically covered in. it's not like he was keeping it a secret from the rest of the crew they know he gets nose bleeds just not the extent of them.

One day he and Zoro were arguing but not like their normal bickering. Sanji was getting pissed way past the normal amount (probably due to luffy eating more then he was supposed to) he didn't even notice when his nose started bleeding but he noticed when Zoro stopped yelling back at him. Confused he stops to asking what the hell is up with him. Zoro is worried for some reason telling him to go to chopper because he must've hit his head or something. Sanji is confused. Who is mosshead to tell him that he hit his head. Sanji does notice his nosebleed now. Waves the dumbass of saying it's just a nosebleed but Zoros not convinced. Nami isn't even in sight it makes no sense for Sanji to get a nosebleed. Zoro brings it up to chopper anyway just to be sure with the assurance that the doctor will talk to Sanji about it he drops it for now.

Chopper does try to bring it up to Sanji but Sanji reassures Chopper that it's nothing to worry and that they haven't been happening more often and that he'll add extra iron to his diet if it makes the young doctor feel better.

Zoro stops picking fights with Sanji. That doesn't stop the cook from trying to pick them in the slightest. Zoro doesn't get into like he did before letting Sanji hurl insults at him and only blocking Sanji's kicks when needed. It makes Sanji even more pissed stomping off towards the galley. Nosebleed starting to spill. The fact Zoro isn't fighting with him any more has him very frustrated. The frustration builds into more frequent nosebleeds. Sanji takes extra care to hide them from the crew but Zoro is keeping his eye on the cook.

(I could add more but I think it's good here, I didnt go much into how the nosebleeds actually would effect sanji but I'd want to look into actual side effects from chronic nosebleeds)
