I managed to decode the lower speech bubble, got most stumped on the first, and then realized I could and should wait for the expert fandom decoders to do it for me XD . Never has phonetic spelling been so unintelligible, nor fans so dedicated to decoding it anyways.
I would like to thank the wonderful folks in the girl genius server for joining me as soon as thenpage dropped last night for us all to collectively transcribe and decode Zoing's speech about what's going wrong on castle Wulfenbach. The best guess we settled on was:
"He came back! Gilgamesh go walk about and father came back! A scary clank lady want to fix a new body in a tank, making new brain to put brain in tank body in a big lab!"
"It’s gonna work and then she in command of the whole ship and empire and everything! It’s bad!"
Which sounds like Lucrezia is on board stealing herself a new organic body that can potentially go queen mode! Uh oh!
well dangit now I'll never unhear it
Is the whole scene with Shen Yuan self destructing basically not JD and Veronica during ‘Meant To Be Yours’?
To be fair, I have met (and herded out of a mildly exploding building) kids like that. Highschoolers, man. Just enough smarts to be so, so stupid.
Because some kids can't even hold onto the instruction of "there is a killer robot loose in the school, evacuate" Amazing Spiderman 8
Damn I needed this RN
Reblogging for this killer tag:
#the pie is standing on the morally higher ground and going ''the next one just might be a brick motherfucker''
Reblog if you write fic and people can inbox you random-ass questions about your stories, itemized number lists be damned.
I've spread this earworm to my whole friendgroup XD
If you're visiting my profile for the slur song, here's the spotify link:
Text link if that doesn't work.
You can stream it on YouTube too. I'll update if Apple accidentally approve it.
Thankyou for all your messages, I'll get to them all eventually, promise!
Do you have a favorite episode of Colombo? Your Detectives and Tricksters Trope Talks inspired me to get hooked
Season 5 Episode 1, "Forgotten Lady"! I shan't spoil why, but it's top tier.
Also shoutout "Try and Catch Me", "Suitable for Framing", and the one with Evil Johnny Cash.
This series has singlehandedly cured me of my tendancy to roll my eyes at canon divergences...
Update: just listened to the suggested soundtrack and hey guess who just solved a lifelong mystery about what song is in a heirloom musicbox. This series, HONESTLY.
This update comes with a content warning, which you can read here if you're so inclined.
