I almost lost a kitty this way. So not worth it. No lilies at home with kitties.
Seriously just a bit of pollen could make your cat sick within a matter of minutes. Stay far away from Easter lilies if you have kitties!
Needed to hear this today
Your disabilities’ effect(s) on your schooling do not make you a bad student; you are not a bad student because you are disabled.
I recently had to do this and it was stressful af!
You think prepping for first dates or job interviews is hard? Try prepping for an appointment with a new primary/GP when you have a chronic illness.
-symptoms (when they started, how long they last, how frequent they are, new symptoms since seeing old doctors, pictures with dates and short explanations)
-tests done already, test results, tests that need to be done regularly
-conditions that have been screened for, conditions that need to be regularly screened for, secondary conditions due to primary condition(s), how different conditions are managed
-an elevator speech practiced so that you can cover everything important in a short amount of time (especially difficult if new doctor hasn’t heard of condition)
I’ve been struggling the past few weeks with increasing depression. Money is tight and we’re struggling to pay the few bills we have. I’m looking for a job to help but I know I won’t be able to keep it energy-wise when school starts back up in the fall.
Things are rough in my brain right now.
Today’s studyblr is brought to you by DNA. I’m working on my forensic science class today and it’s fascinating. I really do love this class.
Does anyone else ever feel like their body parts are on wrong? I get this weird sensation sometimes that mine are, even though I can look at it and see it’s fine.
Right now, it’s my hips and pelvis. It just feels wrong.

Wife and I are at the ER. She’s been having what her neurologist (our neurologist? We see the same guy) think are seizures. She’s been having small tremors off and on since February. We think it was caused by Paxil, which she rapid detoxed from under medical care a few months ago.
Today the whole body tremors/shaking are constant. With all her medical issues, I try to stay positive and strong. We do it for each other.
Hubby is at home getting cleaning done for the plumbing. It’s just another day in our life. It’s weird.
I think I might need to make this for a phlebotomist friend of mine.
Fun fact, I am a phlebotomist. I guess I just really like needles? by itsLenAgain
As a ND person, I hate having to take communications courses in college. It reaffirms that NT people are confusing AF.
