This is an exquisitely crafted sentence. The "cellar door" of the modern era
Could people posting about the new HP game tag their posts with Harry Potter or discourse?
I want to finally buy a tablet to practice digital art, but I have to pay taxes.
we’ve had our fair share of tumblr sexymen on this site, but i think it’s time to usher in a new era
take my uquiz to find out which insane fictional man you could fix.
if you’ve ever used r/fakedisordercringe, you owe every single disabled person £100 right now. this also goes for all the system cringe/“faker” subs as well.
stop calling yourself sex positive if you don’t recognize asexuality and the complicated relationships a lot of ace people have with sex. you’re not sex positive if you don’t support the choice to not have sex. you’re not sex positive if you don’t support the choice to wait until a committed relationship. you’re not sex positive if you don’t support everyone’s right to make the choices they’re comfortable making related to sex, including asexual people, and especially including sex averse/repulsed asexual people.
I've been working at a warehouse for going on 5 years and the work suits me. It's repetetive and fairly easy, if you don't mind physical labor, and where I work you can just put earbuds in and listen to music/podcast/audiobooks all night if you choose and nobody bats an eye as long as you're actively working. They have a goal each employee must reach to retain employment (units per hour), but it's not hard to reach if you keep pace. We get 2 paid breaks, but cannot leave the building once you're inside without permission from a supervisor (this is to prevent theft). There is a fenced in area outside for smokers during break. Warehousing is good if you want a job that pays above minium wage, don't mind bending/stooping/lifting up to 50 lbs, using an RF unit and navigating the menus, zero direct customer interaction, and flexibility. I'm not sure how other warehouses work, but mine offers benefits like paid time off, sick time, and unpaid time off. On days when we have low volume, they offer vto (voluntary time off) where you can take an unpaid day off without penalty. We get our benefits every 6 months, and are responsible for managing our time off (typically 80 hrs of UA and PTO, 60 hrs of sick) via an app. If you go negative, you're termed. I don't reccomend Amazon, as they're super strict and have cameras on you ALL.THE.TIME. If you make a mistake, you can bet a manager will be over with a laptop to show you the video and give a lecture. It really does suck there.
To my fellow neurodivergent peeps and/or introverts, does anyone currently work in a warehouse or do assembly? I’m quitting my current nightmare customer service job to do that instead and wondering if anyone else does warehousing.
We love people with low and no empathy here!
happy new year🏮
hope everyone has a better year🥂
Today we are highlighting the fictoromantic and fictosexual microlabels! We’ve received a couple of requests to talk about this label - if you’re ficto or feel connected to the label, we invite you to share about your experience!
[ID: “Ficto-romantic. Someone who is mostly only romantically attracted to fictional characters or whose romantic orientation is influenced by fictional characters. Ficto-sexual. Someone who is mostly only sexually attracted to fictional characters or whose sexuality is influenced by fictional characters. While some ficto- people may not identify as aspec, others do because they are not attracted to anyone they could form a relationship with.” Pictured are the fictoromantic and fictosexual flags.
