So Loki's original candle that I had for him was very small (as it has melted obviously) and I felt bad seeing it two days ago? So I told him I would get him a new candle, I did, and his flame on the candle was incredibly small. It was barely there, so I was freaking out. I was asking him if he was okay, if he had a bad day. (Loki and Hekate don't really do any communication with me it's more if I feel drawn to something or a yes/no, which pops up in my head). I did a drawing of him and wrote a small prayer on that drawing for him, hoping he'll like it and his flame would go up. It didn't for the record.
Then I put the original candle back, deciding he might want it back, and his flame was still small. After some time later I told him that if he's had a bad day, I hope tomorrow will be better for him and that if I had offended/hurt/upset/insulted him without realising I do apologise as that is never my intention.
I thought 'Loki if you forgive me, please give me a sign,' but then I realised he doesn't HAVE to forgive me if it was my fault. He could have just had a bad day for all I know. But he doesn't have to forgive me. He can just accept what happened and move on, and that's okay. One of the first things I have told him was 'I'm not going to force you to do anything', and I'm still going by that.
i don’t worship ares but i have soooo much respect for him as a protector of women, proud supporter of his amazonian daughters and an affectionate lover to aphrodite
ares gynaecothoenas you will always be famous ♥️
Ares is often summarised as the god of dumb war. I don’t feel that’s entirely accurate. Ares is the god that represents the passion of war. The rage, and despair, and love that goes into war.
Incidentally this is the exact sort of war that goes on in a litter of puppies as they play fight with eachother.
In conclusion: ares is the god of puppies
It's okay to have a shorter time with deities if your tired or you've had an eventful day and need some time to recover, they will understand.
I have a routine with Loki and Lady Hekate, at 5pm I devote an hour for them both. But yesterday so many things happened and I walked to get dinner, then my sister offered to watch a movie with me (that never happens) and I agreed. By the time when that was all done, it was 7pm, I was starting to get a little tired.
I gave Loki a new candle as an offering and to keep my promise I gave him the day before. I didn't give neither Loki or Hekate a incense offering because it was late and I just wasn't up to it. I meditated for four minutes, then gave Lady Hekate a glass of milk for an offering. I wished them both a good day, apologised that I didn't do some of my normal routines with them and then blew out their candles.
I felt bad but then realised they knew we're human. They know we can get tired and lose track of time. They know we have people in our lives and other things that require our attention as long as you make it up to them later, then you can relax. Just breathe, they understand.
If anyone asks me in the future why I believe in Greek gods, norse gods, Egyptian gods, and any other pagan gods are real, I'm going to tell them this. One, there are so many people talking about their experiences that it's hard to believe it's not real. Secondly, there are so many stories about them that makes it hard to believe someone just randomly made them up. Finally, I just offered a glass of milk to lady Hekate after I felt drawn to offer that to her and when I gave her that offering her candle for a few seconds went up and wild and I instantly knew she liked it and was excited. That made me feel good to know she liked it and was happy and made me believe even further that the gods from the past are real, all of them are.
So I understand why we have alters/shrines for deities, and I have two separate ones for Hekate and Loki.
But how about also having an alter/shrine to ourselves? Worship ourselves like we would the gods? We are spiritual beings, and I think we deserve our own worship as spiritual beings but also as self care and self-love to ourselves. (Especially if we struggle with that!)
I heard about someone saying to image your a demon in a humans body that you have to look after but what if we made a shrine/alter for ourselves and treat ourselves with that respect and devotion we show to a deity?
I'm thinking of trying it and seeing how it goes.
I AM SHIFTING, YOU ARE SHIFTING! IT'S NOT A IF/BUT/OR/MAYBE WE ALL OUR SHIFTING! WE WILL SHIFT AT MORNING, NOON, AND NIGHT UNITL WE GET BACK TO OUR DESIRED REALITY WHERE WE BELONG!
You don't need to have a method(s) to shift. You don't need affirmations. You don't need a subliminal. You just need you.
If methods, affirmations, and subliminals help you, then go head and use it. I'm not going to judge. (Methods and affirmations help me).
Just know you don't NEED it. Not having it won't stop you shifting. Just breathe and do whatever is comfort and feels right to you. Just don't let anyone tell you that you NEED something to shift.
The way some people cannot understand that when I, an aroace-spec person, call someone "hot" it doesn't mean I'd like to share bed with them, but that I think they are a pleasing sight for my eyes. Yeah, they have good features. Yeah, they are pretty/handsome. That's it. Nothing more, it's just nice to look at them. Just like looking at some flower or aesthetically pleasing food. You don't need to like the scent of that flower or taste of that food, but it looks nice.
You are energy, your soul is energy, your consciousness is energy, and your subconscious is energy. Energy can not be destroyed, and it can't die. You have a vessel, a physical body which can die, but YOU, Your energy, your soul can't truly die. YOU are eternal. Your body isn't.
When someone dies, it can be good to remind yourself that their energy, their soul, and their subconscious/consciousness won't die. Their body will, yes, but the essence of their souls, what makes them who they are won't die. Death is only a transformation. It's not the end.
I think my beliefs that when someone dies, you get to choose where you want to go has helped with that just a little. For examples: If you believe in Norse paganism, you'll be able to live in Valhalla and feast amongst the gods if Odin believes you lived a life worthy of that. If you have a polytheistic belief, you will go to the underworld and get a coin as payment for Charon, who will take you across the river Styx. If you believe in Buddhism or in reincarnation, you'll get reincarnated over and over again until you achieve peace or because you want to experience life again and again. If you're an atheist, then you can live into the void or come back to earth as a spirit if you want to, etc.
Anyhow I hope this has helped someone out, like it has me.
Me when I shift
shifters after shifting to their dr and staying there for a very long time and coming back to their cr:
Reminder to drink and eat something today! No matter how busy you are, no matter what has happened today or yesterday, you deserve to feed and energise your body. So please take out at least five minutes of your time, put everything away, or even watch a mukbang video so you're not eating alone and have a refreshing drink and meal. Love you!
I hate when ppl are like "You can't just say a couple affirmations before bed and go to sleep and expect to shift" because like, yes you can? People have shifted accidentally before, what makes you think that it's not gonna happen? If you're feeling really low energy, it's okay to just say a couple affirmations and go to bed or just skip that and sleep. Worst comes to worst, you don't shift. There's always tomorrow night though
How to be Happy in Life:

☀️Deities☀️
I see so many people criticizing others over their relationships, or lack thereof, with their deities, so here are some reminders:
Not having deities is okay.
Having just a devotional relationship with your deities is okay.
Having a working relationship with your deities is okay.
Playing games with your deities is okay.
Harmless jokes with your deities are okay.
Doing fun things with your deities is okay.
Doing devotional offerings for your deities is okay.
Giving physical offerings to your deities is okay.
Not being able to do certain offerings for deities is okay.
Having an altar for your deities is okay, no matter the size.
Not having an altar for your deities is okay.
Laughing with your deities is okay.
Crying with your deities is okay.
Having genuine conversations with your deities is okay.
Being unable to hear/see deities is okay.
Being able to hear/see deities is okay.
Not being able to communicate through divination is okay.
Using divination as a key element in communication is okay.
Not calling on deities during spellwork is okay.
Asking deities to help during spellwork is okay.
Asking deities for help in general is okay.
This is your relationship with your deities in your practice. Don't let anyone tell you what you can and can't do. 🫶
It's 2am, please forgive me if there are any mistakes!
Say it with me even if you don't believe it at the moment:

HELLO MY BABES/LOVES/CHILDREN/THANES/KINGS/QUEENS/DEITIES/JESTERS!
My name is Kai, I am 17 years old. My pronouns are: They/Them. I am a Gender fluid, Lesbian and Asexual person who has been into spirituality since I was twelve, when I first saw my late sister's spirit. I am a medium, although I do have trouble at times communicating and seeing spirits. I also identify as a witch and a shifter. My religion is something that I don't know the name of but just my beliefs: That all gods/deities are real, but there is a hierarchy.
1. God, the universe, Brahma, Allah are number one and just the same being but go by different names to attract different people.
2. Jesus, Budda, avatars in Hinud, any messiah.
3. Any gods and goddesses from any religion and Lucifer, Satan and Lilith.
4. Angels and Demons and Fae, mermaids and dragons
5. Angel guides and ancestors (whether human, animal or alien)
6. Spirits, ghosts
And that when we die, we just experience the Void unless we believe in a specific afterlife for ourselves. All religions have some similar things but are all a bit different to appeal to different people because a number one creator would understand and know that just like students in school, people learn things differently.
I am an Empath, medium, Witch and pagan. I've been a Witch on and off since I was 12. And I've been an empath and medium since I was 5.
This blog will be a mix of poems I've written, my thoughts/beliefs/encouragement with deity work, deity worship, witchcraft, spirituality, shifting realities, self-love, and care.
I worship: Lady Hecate
I used to worship: Loki, Hades and Persephone

My DMS are ALWAYS OPEN TO YOU AS LONG AS YOU HAVE GOOD INTENTIONS

I think we can overcomplicate offerings for deities, like each and every offering that is for a deity should ALWAYS be respectful. There's no 'if/buts/maybes' on that.
But some offerings can be simple like saying thank you outloud or in your head after eating your meals to Demeter, Artemis, or any other deity that are similar to that in your religion. Saying that your skincare, makeup, and brushing your hair is dedicated to Aphrodite or Hekate, for example. Saying good morning to Apollo in the morning when you open up your curtains and doors, meditating out in the sun for Apollo and Lucifer. Doing something risky and playful in honour of Loki and Hermes. Having a glass of water by yourself or washing your hands in honour of Poseidon. Learning how to defend yourself for Ares and Odin, paying your respect to the dead for Hades, and Anubis. Those are all examples of offerings, devotion or doing something in their name that you can do if you currently don't have any offerings for them at the moment, or if your sick and don't have the energy for offerings, or if you can't do any offerings because of unsupportive family, ect.
I feel like Loki would own a flip phone. But only for the pure satisfaction of slamming it shut when he gets into an argument with an asshole on the other line.
you and your body need nutrients. please make sure you are eating enough food and drinking enough water and getting enough sleep, you matter so much and i don’t want anything to happen to you
It's wonderful how, with no warning and without even trying, we will randomly stumble across new favorite songs, new favorite artists, new favorite books, new favorite movies, new favorite games, new favorite shows, new favorite snacks, new passions, new hobbies, new interests, new favorite blogs and new favorite people. So when things are terrible, hold onto the fact that someday, possibly when you least expect it, you'll suddenly come across something wonderful!
I feel like when people get into deity work, deity worship or anything deity related we all kinda think that we NEED to communicate with them, we NEED to do tarot cards with them, we NEED to reach out and actively work with them. But I feel like that's not it. Yes, you can communicate with them if you and them want to. Yes, you can do tarot cards with them. Yes, you can actively work with them, but you don't HAVE to. I think you can also just light their candle, give them an offering and just spend 20 minutes or however long you want listening to music with them and just chatting to them about whatever is on your mind and they won't mind it. Because you are putting in the effort and your time to be with them even if it's not doing any of the things you see a lot of pagans and witches do on tiktok.
Anyone else just makes a shrine/alter for deities than just meditate or do tarot cards than play music for a few minutes for them and just chill with them but don't work with them? But that's what I do and it's quite relaxing I think.
"The feeling of drowning is commonly known as a painful experience. But for those who are surrounded by the feeling of drowning, when they actually drown, it feels peaceful and calming. They feel free and wish to stay longer when they're pulled out."
