minecraft as an analogy for shifting, idk if anyone’s thought of this one before :>

i just thought of this now while brushing my teeth - minecraft as an analogy for shifting! the home page is being awake in your OR, when you go to your list of worlds, that’s like the void and grey states — the bridge between your OR and DR — each world/server is a different reality, the settings for that world (survival, creative, cheats, etc) is like the script for that world (with your mc skin being like your DR appearance), multiplayer and realms are like group shifting, the “leave game” button is like the safe word, you can only be in one world at a time the same way you’re only able to be aware of one reality at a time, and using chat commands is like using a lifa app/object!

help me this is so silly idk what i’m on 😭 (it’s like 11 at night i have school tomorrow i need sleep) but ykwim????

sorry if there’s some missing info or it’s not fully fleshed out, a lot was undecided before the original group chat went inactive (´；ω；`) i went looking for a second group recently and they all kept leaving me on read or being really inactive too… for more check me out on instagram @ kaedesmultiverse or read my carrd in my bio which also has my socials attached.

anyway we have three “realms” each with their own parts — kingdoms, empires, the like. each region, ig you could call them, has its own inhabitants.

SKY REALM :

1. Etherea. This is where species like Angels — Nephilim, Seraphim, etc. — reside. I imagine it to have a very Ancient Greece / white-gold Royalcore sort of look! To trade, they use these little rings called Halos :> ALSO EDIT! to get to the sky realm from the overworld, theres this magic gondola system where the gondola carriages are like giant bubbles :3

OVERWORLD :

1. The forests. Here you’ll find faeries, elves, wood nymphs, Dryads, and other fantastical races or creatures with magical abilities or traits!! The currency used here is typically more of a trade, with buttons and common trinkets being the sort of standard measurement for value.

2. Medieval Kingdom (name to be decided). Here we have knights, witches, druids, monks, and general townspeople that run stalls. Think Mondstadt from genshin, or Gondor from lord of the rings. The currency used here is gold coins, but witches and druids tend to mingle, and they exchange useful items such as candles, crystals, herbs, etc. Witches are categorised into two groups — those born with magic and those born without but who learn it. It’s implied the magic can be learned, but those who are born with it have it much easier and are typically more powerful. This magic we haven’t really fully fleshed out yet, but I assume it’ll be something like telepathy, illusionism, or straight up telekinesis.

3. Oceanic Regions. Underwater, there are kingdoms full of merfolk, sirens, and other water nymphs living alongside sea creatures! Here they trade things like shells, with certain types of shells valuing at higher levels than others. In terms of magic there’s probably sirens with the voice thingo, and all merfolk have ability to manipulate water so they can make lil bubbles underwater, and I expect they can communicate with fish and other sea life.

4. Dragon Empire ! I based this one off East Asia, but predominantly Japan because I’m half Japanese and wanted to script that place in for my background. This empire is inhabited by dragon-human hybrids (me!) We can shapeshifter from human form to full dragon form (although in human form we still have features like horns, wings, reptilian eyes) and manipulate fire :3 This empire has two districts: the West and the East. Both are ruled by Empresses (we wanted women in charge instead of the men) who are sisters! The royal family name is Ryuu meaning Dragon in Japanese.

5. We haven’t decided what to call this one just yet — but they’re forests again, just this time with thicker canopies and some sort of cursed eternal fog that hangs over the land. This area is inhabited by vampires, were-animals, as well as herds of centaurs.

SPIRIT REALM / UNDERWORLD :

This realm is shared by tieflings as the predominant race, and the undead or spirits such as ghosts, banshees, will-of-the-wisps.

CURRENCIES :

UC = Universal Currency

medieval kingdom = gold coins

ocean regions = shells

dragon kingdom = tatsukin, gold & silver coins

forests = buttons, since they are hoarders

CURRENCY EQUIVALENCIES :

UC to Buttons: 1 UC = 20 Btn

UC to Tatsukin: 1 UC = 2 Tsk

UC to Shells: 1 UC = 3 S

UC to Gold Pieces: 1 UC = 1 GP

UC to Halos/Rings: 2 UC = 1 H

It would be like totally amazing if you did a sci fi themed script template (purple, black and red futuristic theme),,, I desperately need to make the script for my home reality prettier and I love your scripts SKNDJ.

Preferably something w/ lots of space to fill in details for like. Everything. (Governmental system, locations - I love drawing maps and diagrams -, jobs, species, cool sci-fi things like body mods, space for a dictionary too since my dr has lots of words that aren't used here...) Since my home reality is completely original.
