This might not be accurate since I’ve never had this fear.. If it’s not you have permission to come after me for it lol. 

-You were looking out the kitchen window, dark clouds were forming in the distance. 

-You were getting increasingly more nervous as the claps of thunder got closer and closer. 

-You were so focused that you didn’t notice Vanderwood standing behind you. 

-”Baby girl, is everything okay” he asked. 

-When he saw you standing there shaking, he knew something was wrong. 

-you whipped your head around and stared at him wide eyed. 

-He noticed the tears running down your face, he knew you were truly scared about something. 

-Vanderwood realized what was happening and what you were afraid of. 

-He brought you into a bone crushing hug. 

-”MC, it’s okay, The storm will pass. I won’t let anything happen to you.” 

-He brought you to the innermost room of the house. 

-He closed the blinds and handed you his phone with headphones.

-”Here, MC use this. It might help take your mind off of things.”

-Vanderwood sat down on a couch, you followed his lead and sat beside him holding onto him for dear life. 

-He wiped any tears that fell away. 

-He tried his best to calm you down. 

-By the time the storm had passed, you were fine, you were still wrapped in his arms, you were still alive. 

-You both resumed your day as normal.

-Any time there was ever a storm in the future, Vanderwood would be right by your side, reassuring you that everything would be alright.

How You Met

-It was an average day, nothing was really going on in your life on this day in particular...

-The only interesting thing you'd done was go over to 707's house.

-You'd been laying on one of his couches for the past two hours staring at your phone waiting for the other members of the RFA to join.

-when suddenly....

-The door clicked open...

-You immediately got up, grabbed a gun that 707 had under his coffee table and ran towards the room where seven was.

-"SEVEN!!! SOMEONE JUST GOT PAST YOUR SECURITY SYSTEM!" you yelled at the redhead hacker.

-"Relax MC, it's just my maid."

-"You have a maid??? You never bothered to tell me that."

-"sorry..."

-You sighed, that man was going to be the death of you..

-After a few minutes of just staring blankly at your friend, you left his office to greet the maid.

-That was when you saw them...

-a tall brunette man or woman..... (you weren't sure yet) facing away from you, taking off their shoes.

-"hello?" you squeaked nervously

-"Huh? Oh hello."

-Now you were pretty sure he was a male... from his voice..... But seven told you that he had a maid and this guy was clearly not a maid.

-"who are you?" you asked gripping the gun you'd grabbed earlier tighter behind your back.

-"My name is Vanderwood, I'm that idiot's supervisor... for work."

-he finally turned around to face you....

-You gasped... Damn he was gorgeous!!

-"Is there something on my face?" he asked, smirking.

-He knew... no doubt about it.... he knew that you found him attractive.

-"n...no..." you squeaked.

-"Do you by any chance know if Luciel completed his work?"

-"I don't know, He doesn't like it when I talk to him about his job... sorry"

-"Aw that's okay, I'll go check on him... I usually make dinner for him too... want to help?"

-And that was where it all began...

Vandy with an MC who’s blind in one eye?

I can do that… I did a bit of reading to get some idea of what it might be like since I’m not blind, I’m only nearsighted. So if this isn’t accurate, I’m sorry. Thank you for requesting, Anon. <3

-He knew from the beginning that you had some issue with one of your eyes. 

-He didn’t know the extent of it until you’d told him that you could not see anything except for strong light out of that eye.

-Obviously, your depth perception was off. 

-If you had any trouble with anything, Vanderwood would help you as much as he could. 

-Vanderwood would do most of the housework, he’d cook, he’d drive and he’d even scribe for you if you needed it. 

-It never bothered him, in fact, he liked caring for you and helping with little things.

-He’d try not to accidentally scare you, he was always careful about that. 

-If you wanted to do something yourself, he’d back away and let you do it.

-He never looked at you any different for your blindness, Vanderwood loved you and everything about you.

-But that didn’t happen

-All hell broke loose when you mentioned that he was your boyfriend.

-You felt horrible. 

-You felt guilty.. 

-Vanderwood wasn’t going to let that happen for too long 

-”MC, It’s okay, You don’t need to listen to them” 

-They were your parents, you felt obligated to listen to them… What else were you supposed to do? 

-You cried. 

-He put his arm around you and rubbed your back. 

-You kept crying and he kept hugging you. 

-He kept reassuring you that everything would be okay and that he’d talk to your parents to try to smooth things over later. 

-That seemed to calm you down quite a bit.

-You were still upset, but with Vanderwood, you felt as if you could get through anything.

Aw you’re very welcome, anon! It was quite interesting to write, especially since I’d never written anything for Misa before that. And this one seems just as interesting to write... Idk how my angst writing skills are... but enough of my rambling... let’s go!!

It always seemed as though L was one step ahead of Kira

Reasonably... L assumed you wouldn’t be caught up in this, seeing as you were a normal person, almost completely uninvolved with the case.

However, what L didn’t realize is that Kira would do ANYTHING to get to L.

And now there he was... 

Witnessing your death.

The utter agony in your eyes made him sick. He had seen many people die... However now that it was you... 

He almost walked away to save himself from the sight of your cold, dead eyes.. 

But he remained there by your side until you drew your very last breath. 

He kissed your forehead, bidding you farewell.

He hoped to see you in another life

And he swore that he’d bring Kira to justice... For you.

Mello

After the gang had gotten the Death Note, they needed to confirm it worked. 

Rod had suggested they use it on some of the lower ranking people in the room... 

Little did Mello know, you happened to be one of them.. 

So, the guy they chose to use the Death Note, Kal Snyder wrote your name down along with a couple other guys.

Mello’s eye’s widened as he saw you collapse along with the others. 

“What the actual fuck Snyder? You do realize I was in a relationship with them right?” Mello barked.

“S... Sorry.. I thought-”

“No, no excuses, Fuck you” Mello pointed his gun at Snyder’s head, clicking the safety off.

No one... and I mean NO ONE killed Mello’s S/O and lived to tell the tale.

He then shot Snyder in the forehead, killing the bastard. 

Then his attention turned to you. 

You were already dead, but still, he softly kissed your lips one last time before standing up. 

His rage boiled and soon overflowed as he snapped and shot the rest of his gang.

The only thing that could calm him down now was some chocolate of the very darkest, most bitter variety.

Matt

Matt thought he’d done everything he could to protect you... 

But turns out.. Kira had gotten to you regardless.

It happened in the car while he was driving.

Cigarette hanging out of his mouth, one hand on the steering wheel the other resting atop your hand. 

When suddenly you spasmed in pain.

“Shit...shit.. shit.. SHIT” Matt screamed out.

He immediately pulled over. 

Matt knew what was happening.. But he didn’t want to believe it.

“Y/N! Y/N! Hey stay with me.” He desperately attempted to bring you back to your senses... Hoping, praying that this was something different, something you could recover from..

But soon, as you stopped breathing, and his attempts at CPR proved futile...

The reality that Kira had truly killed you hit him like a ton of bricks. 

He cried for you... He’d never lost someone this close to him before.. 

He was sure this would stay with him for the rest of his life...

Near

Near had seen this coming... 

But no matter what he did, he couldn’t find a reasonable way to prevent this.

You had been killed by Kira right in front of him. 

As much as his heart hurt for you, he refused to show it. 

Anyone who looked at him would barely be able to tell that anything was wrong.. 

But still he was hurting. 

However, he knew that now wasn’t the time for mourning.

He knew he’d get Kira in the near future. 

He’d avenge your death.

Honestly is a bit clueless when it comes to pet ownership so you’ll have to help him out quite a bit

He LOVES this dog though, after some time of owning it, he’ll be the one to take it on walks and play with it. 

He probably called it Sunny or something basic like that.

She has a hedgehog!

Honestly she doesn’t really have enough time to take care of anything bigger.

It probably claimed one of her coffee mugs as its own. 

It likes to sit in said coffee mug while she works though sometimes she’ll hold it or place it on her shoulder which you find absolutely adorable!

She’s a really good hedgehog owner, she researched a lot before getting it.

You’d probably be on hedgehog duty while she’s at work though.

She probably named it Java

Zen

His apartment doesn’t allow pets, though if he were to get a pet it would be a poodle.

He would have an abyssinian

He’d probably end up dressing the poor kitty in matching outfits when he crossdresses. 

Ballroom dances with it when he’s bored

Owns a huge box of cat toys, though only really uses the laser pointer since it’s low effort.

Not a super good cat owner to say the least. 

You and Vanderwood end up having to take care of the cat’s basic needs since he won’t lift a finger to do really any chore around the house.

Probably named it Honey or Pepper for obvious reasons

This boy REFUSES to have pets!!

He plays it off as him hating animals because he’s too tough for that shit. 

Really he’s afraid you’ll spend more time with the animal than him (someone give this marshmallow of a man a hug)

Doesn’t matter what animal as long as you and him can take care of it.

100% would have a Bengal

I mean just look at it! He obviously got it mostly to match his thing with leopard print.. (Almost everything he owns is leopard print...)

He genuinely loves the cat though... Mostly since it’s quite calm and for a Bengal.

Sometimes you’ll catch the cat curled up beside him while he’s asleep or on his lap while he writes his reports.

He is a pretty good cat owner. 

Though he does have an obsession with cleanliness

He bathes the cat every week, usually it results in the cat freaking out and his arms being scratched to hell. 

He expects you to do cat related chores when he’s on missions... and he will throw a fit if you do not make sure the litter is clean and the area around its food bowl is spotless.

Probably named it Cinnamon (Cin for short)

I’d like to just show off my cat here.. lol She’s a bengal, she has less defined rosettes and her name is Ginger.... she’s like 16 in human years and she just makes me so happy lol.. that’s her sitting on one of my neighbor’s car projects.

-It was one of those intense, realistic nightmares, you’d dreamt that the Intelligence Agency had gotten to Vanderwood, they had murdered him right in front of you and were about to kill you when your dream ended.

-Vanderwood had woken up a few minutes before you from you kicking him and screaming. 

-He was confused at first but soon realized what was going on. 

-Vandermom mode activated

-”Hey, It’s okay, it was just a nightmare”

-He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into his chest. 

-You violently sobbed. 

-”Idiot, you’re getting my shirt wet” He complained making you chuckle slightly. 

-”Sorry, I can’t help it” you replied. 

-He smiled and kissed your forehead 

-”That’s okay baby girl, I was kidding” 

-You nuzzled your head into the crook of his neck

-”want to talk about it or something?” 

-you told him about your nightmare.

-”I’m not going anywhere, not for a long while, Everything will be fine babe.”

-You felt yourself being lulled back to sleep from the steady sound of his breathing and heartbeat. 

-Before you knew it, you were asleep again. This time, you had a pleasant dream.

-Vanderwood watched you sleep for a little while before falling asleep himself.
