Jason: *drinks one cup of coffee*
Bruce: Jay no that’s unhealthy 🥺
Bruce is going about his business one day when he realizes Tim has gone missing. Nothing suspicious has happened, so he consults the others to see where he might have gone.

🦇 🚨 Batman 2022 Spoiler: 🚨 🦇
Yeah but you know the part where he’s talking to Falcone about his parents and he’s all teary-eyed and his lips are trembling and he’s speaking so softly
Showing that vulnerability in a character like Batman, a character who is usually hyper-masculine and stoic, is what really set this movie apart for me. This Bruce feels so deeply; his trauma is written all over his face. This is not a cocky playboy party animal billionaire douche, this is a mentally ill young man whose entire worldview is being shattered.
And then at the end he sees that his violence is only begetting more violence. He sees that yes, he’s scaring the shit out of the criminals but he’s also setting an example for them. The city that he loves is terrified and he’s partially responsible for that.
So he decides to change.
Bruce’s love for his city will always be his greatest strength. It makes him vulnerable to more devastating loss—the one thing he fears above all else—and he still makes the conscious choice to be kind.
His kindness takes so much more bravery than his violence.
i have a problem called falling in love with red headed girls
Girl time
nevertheless, we ball
And then they say "I'm not transphobic, it's just my opinion that she is a woman."
But guess what? Misgendering a character is not an opinion.
Bond's gender is not up to interpretation.
The sentence "I am a man." is not ambiguous.
batman (2016) #117 - batgirls part 3/3 in can’t hardly wait
WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME FOOD WARS SANJI WAS THIS HOT???
translation: time to keep your end of the deal, clean the table
grief stays stuck for the time it dictates, it controls you. Of course Jason wouldn't forgive Bruce so easily. Even when he did forgive him, he continued not to acknowledge it, act as if it wasn't a big deal he was getting close again, more open to hear another version.
I think it's sweet how he tries to fight it, but we all know that kid in the robin suit loved his dad, and he never stopped, through death and all.
sometimes i think jason’s anger gets too oversimplified as just anger and so rarely do i see it acknowledged that it is absolutely also grief, just not in the "standard" way
on top of that jason would’ve been mad at bruce no matter what he did. because grief is illogical in the things it makes us think and feel. i’ve loved pretty much every batfam fic i’ve ever read but sometimes i feel like we write jason as too easily swayed by being told about batman’s downward spiral after his death. because explain all you want, grief is stubborn and grief is not something you can just… convince away.
is this me being a fucking nerd about psychology and wanting to see more jason content that actually explores the fact that anger is only one component of his grief? maybe. none of your business go away im at a restaurant >:(
