honestly people who are insufferable about “the prank” or whatever can eat my entire ass because everyone crucifies sirius for telling snape how to get past the whomping willow but i’ve never seen anybody acknowledge what a fucking idiot snape was for meddling and willingly following somebody he assumed to be a werewolf inside a tight passage under a tree that could murder you during a full moon. what was the little bitch even trying to achieve by following remus? we know from his flashback that he had a hunch about remus being a werewolf, then he was told from a guy he hated and who hated him back the way to get past the tree and actually did what sirius said during a full moon? i’m sorry but that’s just being fucking stupid. i’m like 97% sure sirius did not even expect snape to do what he said because why on earth would he do that and if he had actually died that would have been well deserved because god knows the amount of times harry almost got himself killed by doing dumb things in the books but nothing he ever tried was quite as idiotic as this

Q17. What was XL doing after his second time getting banished to the human realm? What was HC doing? Why couldn’t he find XL? HC previously swore to not let XL know he’s protecting him, so why did he decide to meet XL again after 800 years?

XL tried doing other jobs, but all didn’t go too well, and would bring sadness/strife to others, so could only collect trash by himself.

HC was looking for him while also working on his skills + earning money, expanding his power, and worked hard to become the strongest dude!

Really, it was because XL’s luck was so terrible and stuck to him so closely that he couldn’t meet HC. Actually, many times they almost saw each other, like in Banyue, and also when XL was Fangxin head priest, but both times they just missed each other. Finally XL ascended by himself and CEO Hua couldn’t contain himself and rushed over.

It's only the start of the year but I'm tired already

“How could you do this?” The hero couldn’t hide their pain from showing in the broken words.

“I don’t know what you mean.” The villain’s own face was still, emotionless, their voice cold and lifeless.

“I trusted you. I trusted you and I believed in you and I believed that you could be better, but this—this is…” The hero broke off, brushing the angry tears from their eyes. “You are killing thousands—millions—of people, just to save one.”

“It’s not just one person,” the villain whispered, taking one slow, heavy step closer to the hero. Their trembling fingers, the flash of pain in their eyes, was the only sign that they were feeling anything at all. “It’s you—it’s always been you.”

They stepped closer, took the hero’s hand in theirs, sending shivers down the hero’s spine that froze them in place, unable to move or think or breathe.

“It’s you, and I would burn this world to the ground to keep you safe.”
