Nostalgic Embrace.

I live in nostalgic comfort while I exist in your embrace.

I am ten years old.

It’s past my bedtime time.

I fell asleep on the couch watching my favorite movie.

In my father’s arms I’m carried up the stairs.

Sinking to sleep in the gentle sway.

My body relaxing once I feel my mattress.

The peace and comfort.

The feelings identical,

As if one was a prelude to the other.

That is a very derpy Shakespeare... Silliam Derpspear if you will

Would you hang or would you sink?

Flutter like butterfly or moth?

Freeze over or return to ash?

Last book: Possibly the first horror book ever made: Book of Revelations : D. Due to certain circumstances, college and stuff, I'm unable to get back to more fun literature (House of Leaves, open your doors to me again, I beg you).

Last movie: I don't really watch movies, I just can't really find strength to. I suppose the last one would have been...The Green Knight? That was almost a year ago, holy shit.

Last TV show: Trigun Stampede

Sweet/Savoury/Spicy: I like all of them, as well as bitter, sour, rich...

Relationship Status: Single

Last Thing Googled: The Green Knight : v. Totally not because I was afraid I was misremembering, nooooo.

Current Obsession: None, I have very much trouble with becoming invested in things. Sure, there are some where I probe into them, but it never is strong enough to be called obsession. That being said, I am most enchanted by Project Moon and Limbus Company. Very cool, would distort again.

Last creative project worked on: I'm not really a creative project person. I guess I made a character and short story for our DND game? Wrote some shitty poetry here and there, and there's a Google drive full of dumb WIPs, like Lancer one shot, weird scifi stuff, story about man hanging in a room... I'll never finish them, but they're here, to taunt me, to laugh at me.

Now, tags, not many, bc I'm kinda a recluse, definitely don't have 10 ppl who I'm comfortable asking, soooooo here's 3 (Yeah, I know, breaking the rule, I'm sowwy ;_;)tbh xd

Hello! This is my first post, so I don't really know what to do. This is a poem I wrote, and I'd be happy to read any criticism or advice you have for me, and I hope my poem was able to make you feel something.

defeating myself

i unclench my fists. 

my skin takes a gasp of

breath. begs for a release

from this constant tension.
