sometimes i think, did katsuki felt what izuku felt—at the time he was kidnapped at the training camp— when he saw deku being pulled into one of kurogiri's portal as he go right through one other where they were supposed to be going together.

Or did he just had to shove down the panic real quick because they had to fight shigaraki (and he gotta win, right izuku?)

so i've seen someone on twt post this: with the caption being "so all of this was for nothing" or sumn like that. Maybe you've seen it idk

ANYWAY i just want to share my thoughts in this + the ending

First of all, the ending sucked. I'M NOT SAYING ITS BAD but it could've been better and it felt so rushed. However it has good components like Class 1A funding Izuku's Iron Man suit so that he can be a hero alongside them. I still wish he gets to keep ofa, but being a professor at UA is actually a good alternative. Izuku is all about saving. Ever since from the start. He is not like Katsuki who wants to win and be number 1 blah blah. (Save to win, Win to save)

Anyway, those four pictures, I know there are other izuocha moments but the way I see it? Yes, it was a crush, on Ocha's side. I can admit that maybe Izuku did had a crush too (or maybe she is izuku's first friend so he's all excited when they interact). But for me they had a crush, something serious happened, they had to be serious bc serious stuff is happening, then became best friends along the way.

The four pictures above, those were before the war. War is serious. Both of them are heavily affected by it. They both lost someone in that war. Ofcourse before the war they were highschool students whose problems were just about studying, quirk training, having crushes etc.

But no, it turns pretty dark so of course romance was set aside (not that it was the main point) since it turned serious real quick.

To add, all of the moments in the pics above, all ochako's pov, it looks one-sided. But hey, izuku cares for her a LOT.

Anyway, the events became serious and Ochako's crush is actually a stepping stone for her to meet Himiko who has became her person to save. Since then the crush was not for Izuku anymore it's like, a connection between the two.

Izuku, on the other side, I HATE that we didn't get to see more of what his thoughts or feelings on the last two chapters, he's keeping it to himself. I hate itttt. I can't really explain it in words how well-written katsuki's development/his and izuku's development is, all i know is that very impactful to the story. However no actual talk? No discussing over the fact the katsuki DIED? It doesn't even have to be a confirmation of them being canon I JUST WANT THEM TO TALK. FOR IZUKU TO TALK.

My point is [back from the picture above] no, it wasn't all for nothing because ochako grew as a person bc of that crush on izuku and izuku became more confident bc of ochako. I personally think that izuocha is cute, individually and as a duo. It's just that, you all thought those moments are for the romance setting in the future but really it's for the two growing to be a better versions of themselves.

When I say that my favourite atla ship is Zutara people assume that I dislike Aang. But that couldn't more further than truth. I love all the kids in team avatar.

I really like Aang, I just don't find his relationship with Katara romantically interesting and therefore I don't ship them.

So if you like both zutara and Aang please like or reblog this post. I want to see how many of us share this mentality.

I hope everyone hating on atla la would have a bad week, criticism is fine but no need to hate SO MUCH on the actors. Also don't shame those who actually LIKED the live action. Y'all haters criticize so much if you don't like the la just watch the original. Your standards for your idea of "live action" is too unrealistic.

Also let me add the shippers who still shame/hate on e/o for liking this ship or the other part liking this, etc. ITS 2024 LET EVERYONE LIKE WHAT THEY LIKE. Let the shippers of that certain ship enjoy content that doesn't concern you if you don't like that ship.

Overall, I really really enjoyed the live action atla! If I had one major criticism, it is that they did an amazing job of capturing Katara's heart and her compassion, but missed the mark on her rage. I think they were going for a more subtle, simmering rage, but I missed my fiery girl.

On the plus side... Scarfgate is gonna keep us fired up for the next 20+ years

my dream plot: Demetrius being a regular character and our eden kids just starts hanging around him (leaded by anya ofc, and damian not really happy about it) and just slowly shoos the depression out of that boy.

Given recent chapter developments, (I’m honestly not quite sure what to think of Danger Sense being stolen, but we’ll just have to see where this all goes)

I’ve come up with potential Kudoichi angst material nonetheless >:) muahaha.

The theory goes if somehow all the vestiges are to be stolen one by one, what if when it comes down to Kudo and Gearshift getting stolen, it’s a parallel to when Bakugo got kidnapped by the league of villains that one time.

Idk, I just thought it’d be a cool little parallel between the two of them :/
